Using HOR i have played up to 400 points and every game has been fantastic. Honestly i prefer it to 40k. I would like to find a way to expand it to cover a full board.

Some problems can occur when there are too few models spread over too many units. The wound mechanic in HOR needs revising as it again favors horde armies.

At the smaller points, you have to make decisions when choosing your team, you can't just take everything. And you have to balance model cost vs upgrade needs. By 500 points, you just dump everything you need and shoot your opponent off the board by T2 (because there isn't enough space to hide your stuff on T1 if you go second, so you get a significant disadvantage).

In the end, KT is a game about Your Dudes, and smaller games lend themselves to that better.

Again there are some problems like the wound system making it far too hard to kill models. Sometimes climbing can prove a problem for low initiative models as they just can't ever climb up anything. Overall It is a decent system ,but may need some additional fixes depending on your gaming needs.
