Making reliable use of Electropriests

I'm imagining there's been a couple of threads about this already, but I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't, given how easily people are put off from these guys.

I'm taking an interest in Electropriests, as part of an effort to exhaust all possibilities in my AdMech codices, but having looked into what they do, I've concluded that a 4-stage assault is the only way to safely get them into CC, i.e: Clamp down a command squad with Ironstrider Caliers, then jump in my Infiltrators, followed by Ruststalkers running in, with the Electropriests following behind with a squad of Vanguard. -That -1 toughness will see ALOT of insta-death against Guardsmen.

Problem is, it's likely to be turn 3 before the Priests can really work their magic.
Intention is to get the Voltagheist to a 3++ on an easy kill, before having a bash at gun lines and such.

I'm not looking at any psyker shenanigans; purely stuff from the AdMech.
First thing that always comes to mind is using a Trairos Wall, but I want to refrain from involving the Taghmata.

Have any of you guys used the Electropriests?
If you've had to use psykers, how'd that go?

I've run a test run of them in my Triaros armored conveyor (FW 30k admech) a friend of mine wanted to try out the FW stuff in preparation for the new IA book to see what we'd want to get.

The zappy priests are quite solid in the triaros, hopping out and nuking infantry really well and using its massive size as an LOS block.

Just having 1 sees it popped at the half-way line, even on a 48"x 48" board, and in that case, if I did bundle the priests inside, land in a very bad spot indeed.
Not so much a problem with my Adsecs, as they really can take a beating.

Remember its not that they cant ride in their BB allies transports, its that they cant START the game in allied transports.

Personally I used a unit of 20 with a techpriest attached as a Huge blocker, I chained them across my deployment, using them to block people from landing inside the voidshield bubble.

I then combined them with the one power where each unit in combat with them takes X hits per model in the unit and combi charged 5-6 units. Each enemy unit was taking 20-30 str 4 auto hits. It was pretty grand.
