				<description><![CDATA[ Playing a few games at Warhammer World at Christmas with some friends at 2000pts ICT format. Both players bringing some form of marines with grav/knights/drop pods. Then beta strike with retal cadre against backfield and knights. If i go second hopefully I can hold on long enough in cover until reserves arrive. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(308);'>MSU</span> Obj sec suits for late game objectives and the ethereal to keep the drones in check turn 1. Killing blow will be used against knights or big threats while the commander can give the chip to missilesides or fusion suits.<br /> <br /> I think this is ICT legal? Does the AUX in the dawnblade count towards a formation choice? <br /> <br /> Few choices are fusions on the ghostkeel? Blast cannon on surge (never tried this). <br /> <br /> Thanks]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Yes it's ITC legal. <br /> <br /> Fusion on Ghostkeel is a good choice. Do you have more models available?<br /> <br /> One of the things I would change: drop 1 broadside, at 4 missile drones.<br /> <br /> The drones get +1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>BS</span> from the net, and +1 on the turn you deep strike, for BS4! A BS4 autocannon for 12 pts,  that's a great bargain.<br /> <br /> The other thing the drones can do for you, is that you place a drones first when deep striking, broadsides on either side, than, in your assault phase, you spread the drones and you're not in ''blast'' formation anymore.<br /> <br /> The other things, Your crisis suits, I'd probably consolidate your plasma in one team, include your commander there, upgrade shas'vre and give him C&C and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(656);'>MSSS</span>. let your commander tank for the team and you have a nice semi-dead star.<br /> <br /> Then, spread your Fusion in to 2x1 suits.<br /> <br /> Finally, your osc, if you can find the points, upgrading the stealth leaders to 'vre with homing beacons greatly helps yours Retal Cadre on the deepstrike.<br /> <br /> Personally, I'd drop the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(683);'>CAD</span> and surge completely, they don't benefit from the Dawn's blade re-roll and you basically spend 106 points on tax to get the surge (Ethereal and crisis), <br /> <br /> If you can get 2 more ghostkeels and deploy OSC+Drone net (Or, if you can get away with it, just the OSC, have drones outflank and try for re-roll reserves warlord trait). <br /> <br /> You should now also have the points for getting more fusion suits in your teams/upgrading your mini death star.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the reply, this all the models I have except some fire warriors, breachers and 1 crisis. <br /> <br /> The idea is nice with the missile drones, especially the deep striking positioning but does the extra broadside add durability + twinlinked for the turns after? Also forcing moral checks when drones die to small arms is risky I think but I will test.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>id</span> love to run 3 Ghostkeels but like I said I dont have the models. There next along with some more riptides. I added the Surge to keep up with the 1-2 knights I expect to face plus i dont think a few fusion blasters will be enough knight killing options.<br /> <br /> If I had the points <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>id</span> add a buff shasvre and a big squad, may have trouble deepstriking it though without homing beacons. I could find the points to add a homing beacon to a stealth suit squad so it can hopefully come in first from reserve and plant a beacon down.<br /> <br /> Also if I keep the Surge is Pulse Driver or Pulse Blast better in this list? I know I have to get close but it might be a good trade off?</div></blockquote><br /> <br /> with the broadsides, between their range and deep striking, I usually either use the drones to tank.<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 8 app or themselves vs small arms, you can choose what you put up front ! if you're very worried about the leadership you can upgrade to a vre but I usually just suck it up, you already played for bonding knife anyway.<br /> <br /> one of my favorite units is give the riptide burst cannon and piloting array, with the dawn's blade bonus and 1 markelight it can strip almost 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(661);'>hp</span> before saved! it's a really awesome,combo.<br /> <br /> On the surge I like <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>Str</span> 10 better, especially with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(658);'>EWO</span>. And you re likely to deploy anchors turn 1 anyway.<br /> <br /> Switching the Broadside to 4 missile drones should free up some points and your output stays the same (Actually a little better on the turn you deepstrike) If you go 2x1 fusion and consolidate the plasma in one team I think you should have enough to change one to a buff suit.<br /> <br /> the stealth with homing, I thought they'd start on the board, but if you get re-roll reserve warlord trait you should deep strike them first.<br /> <br /> <br /> only the big unit really needs them, broadsides have enough range to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(471);'>DS</span> somewhere save, riptide same and solo fusion are small enough. <br /> <br /> But still nice to have for tide and broadsides, added bonus is that you can all be in supporting fire range when you're finished. <br /> <br /> Let me know how works out!]]></description>
