I'm making a 30K Blood Angels army and want my Rhinos to have pintle mounted assault cannons and my Venator to have assault cannon sponsons.

Looking for suggesting on how to do this with GW/FW parts? Puppets of War (https://puppetswar.eu/product.php?id_product=472) have a gatling cannon that could be mounted as either but I'm going to be playing at Warhammer World and you can't use third party models for weapons.

So they already lend themselves to a pintle. modify the barrels with some assault cannons.

Sponsons -
Well, Heavy bolter sponsons are already a thing. Find some assault cannon barrels and modify.


Sorm Raven, Storm Hawk, Storm Talon, Corvus Blackstar, Baal Predator, Terminators of various kinds are all sources of assault cannon barrels or full assault cannons you can chop the barrels off.

eg. Corvus Blackstar:

Nice one, thanks for the link as well. Depends? I’ve not used the FW Deimos kit. If you want to keep the classic 2xBolter mount, where would you stick the pintle?
