By the third roll, I might be tempted to switch to Tactical in a Maelstrom game to avoid duplicating traits. Those are likewise useful, though not as strong as Strategic. It does, and while that's less useful with Coteaz in the mix, it's still powerful. The more I look at it, the more there's nothing wrong with that table. Also if you want reserves manipulation this is also on the Inq. table.

Whilst the Warlord is alive, you can roll two dice and choose the result you want when rolling for Reserves, Outflank, mysterious terrain or mysterious objectives.

Which if you are trying to get skyfire or something particular on a obj it helps with that also. A +1 on a d6 is still only 66%, pretty sure 2d6 is 75%? My math could be wrong but this should be superior to a +1 bonus.

The Inquisitor tables are actually pretty solid.
