So I am looking at two options, both have benefits and drawbacks

The first one is Ratlings, these guys are definitely designed to be snipers. They have a couple special abilities (movement after shooting, special positioning) but their stats are crappy as heck. They are also not (regiment) so do not get the bonus +6" or the spend a cp to get a +1 to hit at range. They also don't get to follow orders

If I go with a Command Squad & Platoon Commander I get better Stats, (regiment), & orders, but loose the movement after shooting and special positioning. Get the Vostroyan Snipers, run them as Vindicares.

BS 4+ instead of 3+...I would be more inclined to go with a full Vet squad (Getting an extra Hvy Weapon Team and more lasguns)
