So, I’ll be succinct. Because I’m in the pub and on 3%.

Blackshields were Heresy Era renegades that basiclly didn’t necessarily pick a side. Some were from Loyalist Legions that got their arses kicked on Istvaan.

Is it feasible for some of those to have survived into the 41st Millenium, almost acting as a Freelance A-Team?

Discuss.

Cutting about the galaxy in a black Strike Cruiser with a red stripe?

Deathwatch Blackshields are essentially unrelated to 30k era Blackshields. The former are individual marines, whereas the latter were whole warbands. Also, the Deathwatch asks plenty of questions. The Blackshield is interrogated by the Watch Commander and Captains to determine if he should be accepted. Which was a massive waste of nice plot hook.
