I have some Minis from their Congo line. They are a bit slimmer gut almost as tall as GW 40k Guardsmen

Sure, they are not perfect, but for "line soldiers" pretty good. I would expect their chinese dudes to be comparable.

If the faces on the other site look better, go for it. If you like, you might experiment a bit with some shades, but that's down to personel taste.
Do you want to keep it historic chinese or would you consider dabbling a bit into japan?
