Greetings from South of Chile

Greetings! Let me introduce myself. In the underworld, they call me "Rosenmaurer."

I've always been aware of Warhammer, but I didn't truly dive into the hobby until 2024. As a Latin American, miniatures are quite expensive, so instead I buy and read the novels—especially those from the Horus Heresy series. I also enjoy Warhammer video games, and even though I don't own any miniatures yet, I'm familiar with the rules and the broader lore of the setting.

My favorite factions are the Adeptus Mechanicus and the T'au. Warhammer has also opened the door for me to explore other wargames, but 40K remains my favorite by far.

I hope to start building and painting miniatures soon; it looks like a very relaxing hobby. I often watch miniature painters and modelers on Twitter for inspiration.

I came to this forum looking for a place to discuss Warhammer, and I believe I've found the right one.

And yes, that's the idea: I'll be uploading my miniatures to the gallery. I should be buying some soon and getting started on painting them.

They’re expensive! And sometimes it’s not just the price—it’s also hard to find the ones you want. Still, I’ve already decided which ones to start with, thanks to advice from a friend in Argentina.
