Actual <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(111);'>raw</span> is he can't be warlord if any model as sr officer, but he has sr officer so he disqualifies himself from being warlord even if he is the only <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>hq</span> choice, but they gave him a warlord trait.  <br /> <br /> So far most stores in my area made the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(110);'>RAI</span> ruling that having sr officer allows him to be warlord instead of forbids him from ever being warlord.  ]]></description>

Hell drakes and any flyer that can damage units on the ground with have a field day against you, and your lack of antitank allows your opponents to roll up with transports and tanks almost unharmed.  ]]></description>

If I move an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(67);'>IC</span> into a henchman squad they can gain tank hunters through orders.  <br /> <br /> I can ignore flyers except for a helldrake, but if it's drake heavy I think I can kill all his troops before he kills mine<br /> <br /> AV13/14 is the problem.    The only solution I see is to focus on parts of his army I can kill and hope my target  saturation is a bigger pain in his ass than his high <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(9);'>av</span> units are in mine. ]]></description>

Sniper <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(695);'>SWS</span> are fantastic for sticking on backfield objectives (3 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(695);'>SWS</span> sniper squads might be over doing it though), they're dirt cheap and can contribute long-range fire support for half the cost of a normally equipped guard squad.<br /> <br /> The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> needs a heavy bolter, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>, missile launcher, or lascannon. Their BS4 is too good to waste on four snipers. Ratlings might be a decent buy as anti-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(93);'>MC</span> insurance.<br /> <br /> Call me crazy, but why not some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span>? Your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(374);'>FOMT</span> and BID orders will go much further with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span> of autocannons or missile launchers.<br /> <br /> I'm also not crazy about stocking up so much gear into regular guard squads. I usually prefer to keep my guardsmen as lasgunners with a cheap special weapon (grenade launcher or flamer) and kit out my veterans with heavy weapons and plasma. For 10 points your squad is way more effective at BS4. And with go to ground and get back in the fight, your vets can be survivable and effective.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The 20 blobs with 2 heavy/2 special gain more from prescience than a vet squad.<br /> <br /> Vets are very tempting.  I could dump down to a single unit of 50 conscripts and swap out the 2nd platoon for 3 squads of vets.  <br /> <br /> I avoid <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(638);'>hwt</span> like the plague.  Serpent shields ignore cover and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>ID</span> them.  A buff commander in a unit of split fire will dish out enough s7 mp hits to easily snuff 2 units of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>hws</span> per turn with ignore cover hits.  The only effective defense for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(45);'>geq</span> is ablative wounds.<br /> <br /> The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>ccs</span></span> can man a quad gun or stay out of trouble.  A heavy weapon would only have 2 ablative wounds before the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>ID</span> hits roll in.  Stronger weapons in the squad are a reminder that the squad should be a high priority target.  Hiding the sr officer out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>los</span> works on wave serpents, but not against tau smart missiles.<br /> <br /> Finished more models today for a small change.<br /> <br /> -1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(695);'>SWS</span> and -a single conscript.  The list was at 1,499.  +8 bolter henchmen so all 3 squads have 9 bolters and 3 plasma.  Bolters are useful and I feel more comfortable with 9 ablative wounds before plasma.   <br /> <br /> I'm probably going to have yarrick, cotaez, or the inquisitor man the quad while attached to the conscripts.  <br /> <br /> Goal for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>ccs</span></span> is to find a spot where the company commander can hid out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>los</span> while the rest of the squad shoots.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Why don't you drop the conscripts, and take more guard squads with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> and blob them together? The fact is without <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> your army will get blown away. As for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HWS</span> getting killed my serpents, you have range 48" and their <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(219);'>SL</span> are range 36" (though the shield is 72") so maybe they will be out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> range which will save you some. Also if you go first you can easily take out some serpents with enough <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>.<br /> <br /> Again if you do not make any changes this list will not last long at all versus any of the med/high tier armies.  ]]></description>

A pity the deep-strike is no longer as accurate as it was...<br /> <br /> Buffs in mind I think spending the pts to upgrade <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span> to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> in your blobs will be the easiest way to at least get a fighting chance. 4 lascannons is not much, but it is something and I think you have enough S7 shooting with all those plasmas.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

I have mixed feelings about them on foot. 				<description><![CDATA[ Chances are if a knights list faces a blob guard, I'll probably wait behind and shell you for a good 2-3 turns before going in. 6 battle cannon templates are a surefire to kill a decent lot of troops. <br /> <br /> In either case, the Vanquisher russes would be used here to just harass whatever it can while the carapace troops follow behind the knights or tanks just for some extra dice. <br /> <br /> No doubt throwing enough bodies at it will eventually kill a knight, but that said. when the knight explodes, blobs will generally be too depleted to do much. ]]></description>

The idea is tempting.  The only downsides I see to it is it will attract more fire towards the henchmen which is where opponents probably should shoot anyways, and I don't have the models..   ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Figured out the list was not legal the night before.  Priests are 0-3 not 0-5.<br /> <br /> Last minute change was I removed 1 priest, removed the quad gun, removed the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(695);'>sws</span>, and added 2 primars psykers both lvl1 with divination.<br /> <br /> Went 2 wins and a tie.  The wins were bloody but I can trade casualties better  Troop heavy space wolves did better than a mean 4 wave serpent eldar list.  The tie was an odd and fun game.  It was <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(650);'>BAO</span> format <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(316);'>kp</span> primary scouring secondary.  Mind war and jetbike scoring were a huge problem for me but the blobs/conscripts took down 2 wraithknights and a seer heavy ianden wraithblade unit. <br /> <br /> ]]></description>
