Yea I need a lot more practice with this list. It might work out well if I'm familiar with it and an opponent is thrown off their game.

Next step is to paint 25mm square whfb bases bright colors and stick them under regular round bases on small squads that don't move much like the sws ccs and pcs to clearly mark them.

Also avoid playing the day after working a night shift when I'm sleep deprived and jittery from caffine. I have to repair a bunch of models from knocking them off a building after I bumped it.

Ok Version 2.0 After some play testing the sniper SWS were worth their points but slowed down my deployment and game play too much. Attempting to streamline the list to be more aggressive and quicker to deploy by deploying fewer units.

Depends on the list I am facing. If it's a list with a lot of dakka I go for divination. If it's a mean cc list I'll just stick with double hammerhand.

I disagree, 1 hammerhand should be enough, the chance to get prescience and 4++ is to good to pass regardless of who your playing (can't tell you how many times 4++ has saved my bacon).

Pretty much 172 goes to 168 models after 8 guardsmen combine into 4 hws.

If you dropped 5 conscripts from alpha, and the SWS with snipers, and the bolters from the sarges, you can upgrade bolters into stormbolters, which do more shooting for a small point increase.

I'm currently WISWYG and only have I only have 4 storm bolters modeled. The idea is tempting. The only downsides I see to it is it will attract more fire towards the henchmen which is where opponents probably should shoot anyways, and I don't have the models..

Figured out the list was not legal the night before. Priests are 0-3 not 0-5.

Last minute change was I removed 1 priest, removed the quad gun, removed the sws, and added 2 primars psykers both lvl1 with divination.

Went 2 wins and a tie. The wins were bloody but I can trade casualties better Troop heavy space wolves did better than a mean 4 wave serpent eldar list. The tie was an odd and fun game. It was BAO format kp primary scouring secondary. Mind war and jetbike scoring were a huge problem for me but the blobs/conscripts took down 2 wraithknights and a seer heavy ianden wraithblade unit.

Quick question, how did the conscripts drag down wraith knights? Do they have krack grenades? I can't remember.

Double hammer hand or single hammer hand and rad grenades. Or just soak up wounds while coteaz hits them with a force weapon that's between s6 and s10.

Ahh, so the conscripts took the beating (as they should) and coteaz was left to do epic kill motions (again as is right).
