Beasts of War Christmas Sales - Thanks Orlando
http://www.beastsofwar.com/featured/big-black-friday-deals-watch/

Tabletop Gaming News posts sales during the year and announces KS projects.
No info yet on DickBlick's "Low Shipping Threshold" day in December.

Amazon already has its Holiday sales event, but hobby games are pretty infrequent.
See BFAds forums ( http://bfads.net/forums/ ) for non-gaming US hoiday sales.

Is there anything "wrong" with any of those RPG books? Is anything being phased out? Like Deathwatch or RT?

They did the same holiday sale last year, so I think it is just a seasonal event and probably a chance to clear inventory up a bit.

The War Store has put up a note but no details.

http://www.thewarstore.com/index.html?p=2696

In the past it's been an extra 5% off GW (comes out to 24% off) and I think an extra 10% off the rest of the store.

Nope. It's probably only the DH1.0 stuff that's going to become harder to find, so get The Lathe Worlds before it's gone for good!

(/obvious bias)

I'm really thinking about getting some of the Dust stuff. Even with the shipping of approx. 60$ to Germany it is still a bargain.
As good as I find the packaging I would like to ask the FFG-guys to remove the big models from the boxes as otherwise mostly air would be shipped

Are they not planning to reissue the 1.0 sourcebooks with updated rules? I got Lathe Worlds a while back, but I'm still short a couple of the others.

Ouch! I see what you mean! You can buy a ton of stuff for $100 with some really good savings versus UK prices but the shipping for said goodies is in excess of $100. Curse you, oversized DUST boxes!

I couldn't resist, Dust tactics campaign packs for $9.00, heavy Mech for $9.00 and infantry for $4.00. Even with P&P to UK it's still only 1/4 of what I'd pay here...

FFG had a decent sale last year on Dust, but wow, those are some rock bottom prices. I'm not sure what this says about the popularity of the system that 18 months after changing rights, they still have this much stock on hand and need to practically give it away. Regardless, wish I needed some of those units.

TBF it's mainly units that a) came in starter sets and b) have limited battlefield application or c) were brand new when FFG transferred Dust to Battlefront (SSU). It's like when Miniature Market dumped GW at 50% off and they had like 30 plastic Space Marine captain kits and no one was buying them.

So is the FFG 40k RPG system being dumped or revamped? Those prices have me tempted to buy a lot, just not sure if its the end of the line for the rpg or not.

Miniature Market sales used to be great, but now they are so much bigger and widely known their site falls over every time they have a sale, to the point where everything is gone by the time you can checkout. Hope they fix that this year but not holding out much hope.

After reading Miniature Market's FAQ about black friday, I guess I'll remain cautiously optimistic.

I'm hoping they can match FFG's Dust prices. They've done it in the past, so we'll see.

I've sadly been able to hit that free shipping threshold within the span of a few moments every year.

Supposedly they've upgraded so the server can handle 4x the load. Which means it'll just take 12 minutes to check out instead of 48 minutes!

OMG! Those are some insane prices from FFG! I have never seen a game-sale coming near it in Sweden. Sadly the shipping costs here are as insane as the prices. I could easily spend 60-100 $ there but the P&P would double that.... sigh...

I went in for Black Crusade and Only War even though I've heard the writing is...sub-par.

Seriously though great deals on stuff. I just was looking around at the site for fun and the holiday page was giving errors and stuff that was available earlier is gone now so I think they are getting slammed.

No, obvious wink-wink nudge-nudge is obvious. If I actually had any qualms I wouldn't have ordered them, nor written it with a pause in there for comical emphasis or posted a picture of Dr. Evil. Plus if it was bait, which it was not, you did bite at it, so I suppose you are hooked now. The question is are would we throw you back in or put you in the little freezer? While I too balked at the idea of paying $100 shipping for $100 of stuff - and out of principal I almost didn't place that order - I realised that even though it doubled the cost of each item, $18.. or ~£12, is still a heck of a lot better than ~£30 + shipping for the same item from the UK

Oh yes, customs is going to kick all of us in the balls. But that's 'Future Money' which is only slightly more valuable than 'Past Money' and barely worth 1% of "Right Now Money'.

The Dust flyers are cheaper than toys at Walmart. Buy two choppers and convert them into one incredible transport for only $18--you know you can't resist that.

Think of all the tank hulls you could buy at $9 each instead of $18 through the War Store!

It's a fancy case and some certificate, and I'm pretty sure they don't do the personalised certificate any more, so it's probably generic. I don't know if the book is different - it might have some fabric bookmarks inside, but that'd be about it - beyond that it's a case to put the book in. A very nice case, sure, but still just a case.

From what I understand, yes, but still not high enough to invalidate deals (for instance, the Dust modular buildings are like 25gbp from Wayland, or about 5 gbp from FFG, so even doubling it for shipping, you'd still be getting a massive deal)

sadly to make it worthwhile as you say, you need to order loads of stuff. Its christmas and i dont want customs to mash my wallet.

shipping cost to the EU is 100%-125% extra.

Taking the example of the building, it's $9 + $9 (shipping) + $4 (VAT) = $22 => €17,50

For the entire shipment You'll need to add €13,50 for admin fees. Let's say add another [b]€1 to the price, that's €18,50

It's available for €27,91 here:
http://www.bookdepository.com/Dust-Tactics/9781616614140?selectCurrency=EUR

That's about a 35% discount, a lot less then the 70% discount for the US branch ;-)

It's just not what I'm going to spend my money on right now.

I was thinking about ordering the limited edition RPG book for $40 (€32), with shipping and taxes that went up in price to €90.

I'll keep an eye out for good sales here in the EU if you don't mind, like the AT-43/Confrontation4 sales at one time...

You also have to factor in that should HMRC inspect the package, you're looking at 20% on the declared value in VAT (sales tax in Murican) and Royal Mail seem to feel justified in charging a $13 "handling charge" when they don't appear to do anything that they wouldn't have done anyway.

Doesn't eliminate the possibility of savings, but does probably require a large order to make it worthwhile (no point in ordering $20 worth of gear then paying another $13 handling, $8 in tax and shipping.)

Ouch! Sorry gents :(
Well, Miniature Market has traditionally had relatively reasonable overseas shipping and their sales start Wednesday morning (USA time). It looks like they might be clearancing off DUST as well, as many DUST items are already on sale. Could hold out for them and compare deals.

Not long usually, but they're not usually in the middle of a massive sale. This is a "all hands on deck" thing for them, so even people not normally involved in the retail/distribution/warehouse side of things jump in (or so I've been led to believe).

Wyrm's models look great and are unique, but I've always seen them as outside of my budget. Any suggestions on how to best take advantage of their BF sale when it starts would be appreciated!

I don't think I'll have time to play the game, just would like the models.

So... does anyone have experience with FFG's customer service? I made an order of some Dust miniatures for other projects, but now some of my friends are planning on getting into it too, and I want to add the rule books to my order. So far, my question about editing my order has gone unanswered since Saturday, and I am concerned they may not respond before the sale ends.

I sent an email four days ago and still have received no reply. My order still hasn't shipped either so I imagine they are quite busy so it is possible they won't get around to responding anytime soon.

Hmm... I can understand being slow to ship, but not responding to e-mails during a major sale seems like a very odd decision, as it only has the potential to hurt their sales.

At least with FFG it makes sense (large volume of DUST boxes or heavy games or both), but two airfix kits that weigh maybe 250 grams total can go Royal Mail Small Packet for like 6 gbp or less. Their shipping calculator is totally wonky!

IMO, the only things worth getting at the sale are exclusives and their clearance metals/resins. Anything else you're better off buying from an online discounter if you dont mind waiting a few extra weeks.

I'm picking up an alt perdita, carver and the clear green pandora box, and if there's a decent selection of clearance items, probably using that to get me to the $150 mark.

Since you don't play, its hard to suggest what to get beyond that. Pick up things that interest you I guess. I'd try and stick within a faction on the chance that you do start playing, as the game is quite fun and you can build a nice crew for under $100. My only tip is to grab the metal Colette crew/avatar if its available. The art for the new plastic versions is god awful in comparison, as their outfits lost all flair. Actually I'd recommend getting any master you might want to play in metal, as many of the plastic masters are just bland in the face department due to less of texture.

Also Wyrd's limited editions tend to sell well. Odds are you could pick up some of them and resale in 4-5 months for a nice profit if that's your thing.

Eh... for those sleeping on it because its a dead game, i'd recommend buying some Arcane Legions. Last year on Black Friday I probably spent $120 on it at Miniatures Market, and have since played maybe thirty games with large-large armies for three players.

It won't win any awards, but its light, fast-to-play, and at that price you could split some two/three ways, and everyone comes home with a mountain of minis to muck around with.

I'd actually been thinking of taking Arcane Legions figures and trays, and using them to play Kings of War. None of us bothered to read the Arcana Legions rules, and KoW is pretty easy to play (and I know how, which helps).

Getting pissed that MM won't let me check out. Getting really annoying, as I've been trying the last 20 minutes and it won't even let me get to my shopping cart. Ugh.

Just got an email from iplasticsupply.com
14% off all orders starting Friday the 28th through the 30th. Just enter code IPS2014.

They sell bulk sheet plastic (HIPS) and other plastics as well. Think evergreen plastic sheets, but far far cheaper. Shipping is the biggest hurdle, but I ordered 96 sheets of roughly 1'x1' over a year ago and the price with shipping came in around $.50 a sheet compared to evergreens sheets that are normally $3-5 a sheet. Great for terrain builders

That's what a stack of plastic card should look like , found it in my gallery. I ordered .30mm, but probably would go .40 next time for extra thickness.

Pretty sure the sales page was just a PDF file and not attached to the store, that's why it shows the stock still there. They can't get web traffic working right you expect them to get the stock levels linked . I asked them out of curiosity last week how many sedition wars sets they had, 135 was the answer......that we know of . Seems they take quantities out of the system when there's THAT many of them and store them differently. Their facility is huge, and they have room to grow and later do big open gaming, the only problem is parking. They have 6 parking spaces in front of the building for customers, one of which is handicap parking.

I still can't get over how cheap sedition wars is. I don't really need another but dang.

Still have 2 urban quadrants for what maybe half off. That's a good buy, huge chunky box.

I may put in another order later for DZC plastics, and Sedition Wars for $17 will not escape again. I already have the game, but for that cheap I would definitely buy another set for the Samaritans.

Got some Mantic terrain for kit bashing, too.

Yikes! For $17 it's worth it just for the bases! Heck, I'd pay £17 for another copy!

Also for anyone planning to buy Star Wars Imperial Assault I see that Miniatures Market are selling off two of the Armoured Cartographer map packs for $8 each. These will be ideal for the skirmish game rules that come with IA

Too slow on the draw to pick up some cheap infinity starters for the wife and I at MM.

And then 5% off Heavy Gear at the war store isn't really enough for me to get into that with. Plus their stock was a bit off before the sale started.

Sad face.

Not sure if its because im out of country but the isupplyplastic.com website takes me to the department of homeland security homepage.

And be ready to wait until after Christmas for your Battlefoam order to arrive. The bags and basic pluck foam seem to ship quickly enough (they're just a matter of pulling them off the shelf and putting them in a shipping box), but anything that is a custom cut (even the predesigned trays) is what slows down the process.

KR Multicase is having a free case giveaway when you buy a Kaiser or one of their more expensive cases, which seems like a better deal than 30% off a battlefoam order to me. I'm really tempted to pick up a Kaiser 2 as most of my minis are sitting in plastic tool boxes at the moment. Now there's only the issue of what I'll do with the toolboxes after I've upgraded haha.

They do have 20% off currently, which almost makes up for the 23% VAT they charge to US residents who should not be charged VAT anyway.

Anybody else had issues with Fantasy Flight mystery refunds? I ordered a damaged gears of War game + 5 Dust buildings last friday for $88 ($23 shipping is stupid, but still worth it for that deal). Got a confirmation email and everything, online bank statements showed the charge as normal.

My bank account as of wednesday was normal (i do not recall if that particular charge was still noted as pending or not), but today when I checked my balance it was nearly $100 over what it should have been, no credits or refunds noted anywhere. Took me a bit to realize there is now no charge from FFgames, but also no email from them or my bank about a declined purchase or refunded/refused purchase. Now I have to track down who and why reversed the charge, and decide it it's worth trying again, or if it's a hiccup and the order is still placed and FF is going to charge me again and ship it :(

Actually, I had the same thing happen, with the charge disappearing from my account. The weirdest thing is, the order had already shipped when this happened, so I have been waiting to see them charge me again.

Oh, and if by any chance you have to place your order again, the Operation Cerberus box is actually a better deal for Dust buildings than the separate building box, as it comes with components to make a 3 story building (and some miniatures) for $9, rather than components to make a 2 story building for $9.

Well, I made an order last Monday with fantasy flight games. I just checked and my card never even got charged! So now I have no idea whether I will get the order eventually (and get charged) or not. This almost makes me consider just cancelling it with the credit card company, since it seems dicey.

Their website says I have an order pending, but the order contains Christmas gifts and if I'm not going to get it for 3 months (or ever) I need to know now.

I've never heard of a retailer not charging your credit card the instant the order goes through.

Anybody have any contacts at FF that I could get in touch with?

Kalamadea and I had the same problem, thought it seems they charge the account and then the charge disappeared with us.

However, I have just been charged again, one of my orders has shipped (even before they charged my card again), and I know a number of people have already received orders from during the sale from them, so it seems their shipping is pretty good and the charging problem seems like it is being fixed.

You weren't kidding, and at a fair discount for most of it. The munchkin on amazon ended up at 16something so I skipped, same price for the pound of dice by chessex. The dice were a bigger markdown from MSRP but not enough for me to pull the trigger.

That's an excellent brush, I just received one It was on sale for 90something before the flash sale so it's not a huge deal, but they *can* go for a lot more than that.

Be aware, the MSRP is something like 400 dollars so the replacement parts are a little on the high side.

Just got word that my FFG shippment finally shipped (10 days after order) The mechs mostly aren't my style, but I picked up 10 of the tenement kits (should have gotten Cerberus for the same price…) and some aircraft for my sci-fi games as well as a couple of card games and a metal Descent miniature. The FFG sale was probably the best deal of the season. I've not seen much that approaches the 65-80% off deals they were offering.

The Darice type storage boxes are very useful. They, or nearly identical boxes are often available for $2 at places like MIchaels, JoAnnes, Hobby Lobby, etc Sometimes called "craft organizers" and sometimes called "bead organizers". There's also a bead organizer available for 3-4 bucks that's the same size but with rounded bottoms in each compartment that makes it really easy to get bits out. The neat thing about them is that they will lay flat in a plastic letter sized file box. Something like this.
http://www.staples.com/Staples-Handy-File-Box-with-Organizer-Top-Black/product_757448?
You can usually stack 5 or 6 of them in there.

There are also half-size, half-height versions of the bead boxes for bits you don't want to bury quite so deeply. I've used this method to sort my bits for years now. I've got about 4 full size and 4 smaller size and they all fit in the 1 File box. With different theme bits in different bead boxes. It's a great way to be able to bring out a selection of bits on the table without doing alot of digging.

I think they added the starter in later, because I did not see it when I made my orders.

the revised core wasn't part of the sale. you had to navigate through FFG's website and look up Dust as opposed to clicking on the link at the start of this thread. I believe it was $40.00 not as deeply discounted as all the other Dust items but still a little off Suggested Retail Price

On a side note I just got my FFG Dust Order in which included my first pre painted Dust Premium Models and I got to say they are rather nicely done. kind of wish I picked up some more pre painted models

oh well maybe the'll be on sale again next year. Dose anyone know of any other annual liquidation sale FFG has? I kind of remember a spring sale once perhaps an Easter Sale.

Sure!

Here's the Darice17 sized box that has the curved bottoms. Really makes it easy to get the bits out. only $3!
http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/clear-curved-compartment-storage-box-231100/

It's not the exact one I have, but here's an example of a smaller sized boxes. This one will fit 3 in the same footprint as Darice17.
http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/plastic-box-with-6-compartments-406157/

I'm pretty sure this is the smaller one I have. 2 will fit side by side and take up about the same foot print as the larger box. It also has the rounded bottoms and lower height.

Warstore had most of their Dust stuff half off, but I don't know if it's still on.
Apparently FFG is losing the distribution rights. Battlefront is taking over and all the units should transfer over, but unless they have a ton of old stock, I don't think FFG will have Dust this time next year.

I have a couple of those gadgets and gizmos boxen. I can't remember but I think they were just two bucks in the store the last time I was there.

Not as solid or secure as various tackleboxen, but a fair bit cheaper and good enough as far as I'm concerned.

From what I read, however, Battlefront will not be taking possession of all the boxes branded FFG. So FFG will either dump the stock next year or sell for pennies on the dollar to someone like Miniature Market (which they also did for all Rackham stock)

That is correct. I probably read the same wording that said that FFG will be selling off all they had. Either way, I don't think FFG will have Dust this time next year. I will be watching to see what sales come in the future from FFG or whomever buys the stock. There are a couple of units I didn't get that could be cool additions to my sci-fi games.

Thanks for the info about Rackham. I was wondering how Miniature Market ended up with so much AT43 and Confrontation. Didn't Warstore also have a big surplus supply for a while also?

This would be "transfer up to the helicopter"
Ordering someone to get to a helicopter would be <<пошёл (or пойди) в вертолет!>> Pronounced "Pashol vertolet!" Any russians feel free to correct me.

Yup, but Minimarket literally made offers via distributors to buy back all stock. They also bought a pallet, twice, from Ludikbazaar in Europe (who had bought all remaining items in distribution in Europe) to restock. Which is why over the last two years MM has had two major restocks. However, from what I understand, all the remaining sources of AT43/CaoR are dried up.

Good to know. For some reason I'm fascinated by tidbits like these about how the business works. That would also explain why the selection seems to be dwindling.

I do still hope to find batches of NewOldStock AT43 at shows and such. I buy any unit box I can find for $10 or less if it has a shipping container in it. Then I sell the fig and usually get at least half my money back. I've only got 6 or so shipping containers, but I hope to grow that over time. Someone really needs to buy the tooling for that container and sell it again. They'd make quite a bit of $.

Rackham-E owed their creditors, and plastics/painting factories, millions of Euros. Last I heard, Paulo was offered to buy the steel molds for a small percentage, but it was still hundreds of thousands of euro. That was a last resort, and the steel molds were rusting, and were most likely sold as scrap metal. AT-43 would need to be resculpted - everything that exists in the world today is all that there ever will be.

I've seen a few random ebay sellers post like 50 sets of Bane goliaths or something - obviously a big crate of them found somewhere in a warehouse. That's about it nowadays.

I own like 50 or more of those containers, but I also started playing AT-43 since it first came out

You mean Dragonov Kommandos? Good luck, they were selling for around $50 for a unit box last time I checked, more for the attachment box. There's a unit of 9 on ebay right now (w/ sniper rifles) http://www.ebay.com/itm/AT-43-Full-unit-of-9-Red-Blok-Dragonov-Kommandos-Box-Rackham-OOP-ONI-/151497244533?pt=Games_US&hash=item2345f07f75

Spetsnatz Kommandos I've noticed are a little cheaper.

They have an online store, but according to their website you can also order by phone. They've said they were trying to eBay the Mantic away, so they'd probably be fine selling it over the phone. I just doubt their computer is correctly kept up to date on the inventory since it is clearance. I got 30 elves for less than $11 and 20 dwarfs and 20 undead for less than $8 each, if that helps decide for you. The only issue I can think of is that some of their employees specialize in other hobbies and may take some explanation.

So just what the hell is it now... Is it a marble? Or a toy that contains one? Or is it a ball that contains a marble? I mean a marble is technically a small ball if you're loose with your definitions. SO, I'm guessing we must assume this is a marble that also contains another marble, both of which could be considered small balls. None of which should be considered suitable for children under 3 years. Or anyone really, I mean a glass ball with another glass ball inside is just asking for trouble... Kind of like upgraded/high-tech dried peas, for all of your modern pursuit-defeating needs

Spoiler:

But really, it's a small pocket knife that costs almost 200 bucks. I would much rather buy Bilbo's Sting replica for 30-50 bucks less which was in the related items

Hell Bob, you must be pretty local to myself and Barzam then, as we frequent Brookhurst when the men of the family are all able to gather accordingly.

How were the Mantic stock levels in store? I might grab a few boxes if they're still selling them for those prices.

How was their Confrontation stock? I was there around Sep./ Oct last and they had RACKS of Rackham stuff. I want to go get some more orcs.

Seems I might need to make a trip to OC in the ensuing weeks...

I went back today and it was somewhat reduced. They have lots and lots of elves and dwarfs, but the orcs are gone, and so are all the zombies. They have 3 or 4 boxes of skeletons and another couple Revenant regiments, as well as a couple balefire batteries. There was also one Orx raptor marked at $7.99, but none of the other Warpath stuff is on sale, so it might be a mislabelled item.

They still have about one spinner of Confrontation, although I haven't looked at it closely. A few months ago, though, I noticed that they still have boxes in overstock (near the plastic Age of Ragnarok stuff, not the spinners) labelled Confrontation, which I assume are full of metal blisters. However, they seem to have had a reorganization to make room for paints and non-GW games, so it might have been moved. Also, not on sale.

Not a specific sale per se, but I did notice this whilst browsing:

http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-X-Wing-Miniatures-Game/dp/1616613769/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417979280&sr=8-1&keywords=xwing
X-wing main game/starter box/whatever they call it.. oh Core Set, apparently, for 23 bucks on amazon. If you're a Prime subscriber (or they're still giving away free trials for a month...) that puts it down 3-4 bucks cheaper than Miniature market (one of the next lowest prices for it I've seen) with 'free' 2 day shipping.

Considering it myself, thought I'd share.

X-Wing is back up to $29, that might have been one of Amazon's lightning deals for $23

Fantasy flight did wind up charging my card and shipping my order, which came in friday (2 weeks after ordering). My email from the 28th wasn't answered till the following monday and they claim that the initial charge is just a pre-charge and isn't finalized until they process and ship the order and supposedly some banks will automatically drop the precharge if it hasn't been finalized within a certain time period.

Which would all have been fine if the answer to the second part of my email requesting a change to the order hadn't been "it's already in process and we can't make any changes to it" despite not getting a confirmation email of it being processed and shipped until later that day :/

So they sat on my order for a week, sat on my email for another 3 days, then claimed they had already processed it which they hadn't. Between that and the high shipping I don't think I'll be ordering direct from FFG ever again no matter how good the sale is

50 sets? Man. Took me forever to get my 6 Bane and 6 Assault Goliaths.

And I've given up ever getting a Succubus thingy. The Hekat with the guns.

I can recommend the minitaire stuff. I use it for both air and bristle brushes. It's a touch satiny in finish rather than really flat, but if you're going to matte seal your work, you likely won't notice in the result. The 3 included varnishes are pretty shiny though, even the flat one is eggshell/satin rather than proper flat.

Anyone know anything about the Patriot? I've heard the name but I really like my Sotar 20/20.

I use my Patriot 105 to base, and do major highlighting. My Sotar 20/20 goes in for details.

Ahh, I've got some kind of Chinese Iwata knock off I got to practice with that I use for similar purposes. So maybe I don't need the patriot.

Picked up the Minitaire paints today. I told myself that I wouldn't pick up any more toys unless it was a deal that was too good to pass up. It was a deal that was too good to pass up. Kinda kicking myself for not getting the Patriot 105 at the same time.

Yeah I was busy during those. I think I spent somewhere between 130 and 170 on the paints, I can't remember the price. I think current sale price is 150. Probably worth it for that, a bit under 2 bucks a paint. They're also bigger than vallejo.

For 100 bucks, the paint set was practically can't miss.

Bagged a Patriot.

Ludicrously good value, came in at £50 with shipping and taxes, the typical price in the UK is £100-120.

Cannot believe my luck on this, I was all set to spend around £62 on this anyway, so the saving was an absolute genuine bargain.

Thanks Grimdork for the heads up.

Kickstarter exclusive. But maybe change them just a bit for retail, or since it has been so long and they've ticked off the player base they could probably sell them no problem.

Thanks so much for the heads up!

Just went in on this with a friend. I've not got much interest in the rules or other components, but the scenic bases look great and I could use the Vanguard faction as my Maersk-Tesla Corporate Marines. I get all the bases and the Vanguard, He's taking everything else (and I give him plain bases if he needs them).

22 figs and 50 scenic bases for $14 is my kind of deal!

Yep! The strain and Samaritans are both pretty easy to paint up in a hurry, if one is so inclined, they've got enough detail to be interesting but they don't have lots of little skulls all over the place to bog you down

Putting the Minitaire back on sale? I'm telling you folks if it goes back down to 100 dollars that's a steal. The bottles are 30ml as opposed to 17ml for a vallejo or reaper paint, and pending the sale they're approaching a dollar a piece. Even at $150 it's not a bad set.

Thanks again for sharing ced, I'm gonna have to look into the micron pens and maybe the business card magnets... They aren't quite the right size for fantasy mass battles regiments but a few of them could be cut to the right size to make a whole regiment base magnet down to a metal container if I'm thinking right.

Not just that. You get a big box, and inside that box is another big box, and inside that box are all the things you ordered.

So many boxes!

A pleasant surprise for me: I ordered from Battlefoam during their Black Friday sale (some predesigned custom trays), and I just got the shipping notice today. Maybe everyone will actually get their stuff this year.

I got my Battlefoam stuff within a week from ordering it; but I had my cart ready and placed the first order a few minutes after it went live and the second order a few hours later.

For reference, I ordered:
Dreadball tray set
6 D-boxes (for WMH)
6 Puppets War cases (for my Deadzone teams)

I have one outstanding order that included a bunch of custom foam, but that wasn't finalized until a few days ago due to a lot of back and forth about dimensions and such (they still gave me the BF discounts on it)
