Even more so than the grass, I look to place the shrubs in the lee of rocks, cracks and the like as this is where you'd find them in nature, especially in a harsh environment. They are also very good at covering up areas where your grit didn't quite fill properly (like a slotta base or underneath a boot or rock that didn't quite get stuck down all teh way). |
