My FLGS scheduled an Apocalypse game. I was supposed to bring 4000 points so I bought a Baneblade kit, traded for an unassembled Valkyrie, and bought some bits to turn an unbuilt Chimera into a Manticore. The week before the game turned into a model building frenzy. I didn't quite finish the Baneblade but I was able to convert the Valkyrie into a Vendetta. Unfortunately the store cancelled the game due to a MTG pre-release tournament that brought in 60 frothing MTG players. Good for the store but bad for Apoc! :) |
