This looks very nice, and the extreme highlights work very well, but is all that shading due to painting, or the lighting of the photo? |

Nice highlights on the green. The bone highlights are a bit too thick/ white. Thinner highlights or highlights done with color closer to the base coat would work better. Also the red skulls are a bit messy. Over all solid tabletop quality. |

7/7 lovely paint scheme, but slightly messy on the highlights, could be a bit thinner. Lovely neat overal look though. |

I agree, the bone highlights are a bit messy. However, the rest of the model is fairly nice. Did you use real rock on the base? Also, how did you do the lenses on the eye and the little thing to the left of the head? |

Not a fan of extreme highlighting but works well here. Lots of detail too - nice one. |

@willydstyle - Mostly real highlights, a few (most notably the insides of the shin guards) are from the camera/lighting. The rest is layers of bleached bone +/- shading/highlight tones
@Metsuri - I agree, I've never been happy with the skulls.
@V0ldem0r7 - Yep, basing done with GW slate from the 40k basing kit. The eyes and lense are done the same as all the other red areas, but their smallness forced me to be neater whilst painting them. |

I've improved a lot since I painted this, Space Wolves will be forthcoming. LOTS of extreme highlights there. |
