It's always been interesting, the juxtaposition of the 14-year-old-Michael Bay-esque 'splosion fest that is 40k against the actual, real, gripping horror of the thoughts of living in such a universe and the fact that the flesh and bone of those living within the Imperium are considered nothing more than a resource for the eternal war. I've always found the cult of Mars embodies that rather well (assuming this has to do with Mars given the backdrop). That said, I think the model is done very well. A body destroyed to serve the most mundane of purposes. |
