I like the idea behind the poze, but the wings just look too small for the body. |

Kinda looks like it's going in for some kinda tackle but will go down very comically before that due to the talons' placement. It does have humour, though, so lol. |

The pose is great and the colors are giving it nice contrast. The wash on the brown part is pooling, especially on the thigh armor plates. You could use less wash or clean the parts with rehighlight. Solid and clean paint job otherwise and the pose is original. |

Nice pose, good idea for a flying/leaping figure. As said above, you could reduce the weight of wash on the red parts. OTOH the blue parts looks like they could use a light wash to bring out the skin folds a bit more. Try Winsor and Newton Violet or Ultramarine Drawing Ink. |

this is the first of three action pose winged models, this guy gave me a good feel for how its going to work, after reading the comments here i plan to do one with the comical tackle, really wouldnt you almost expect that from extra terrestrial insects?
the third one i have planned will be murding a model in tackle fashion, something like the claw ripping off the head and scythes impaling him all while keepig the nid off the base. havent started that one yet |
