The Repenter is a Protectorate of Menoth Warjack in Warmachine MK2

The Repenter uses Menoth's Fury to fuel its flame thrower to light heathens on fire. With its other arm it wields the shield ignoring war flail. It is one of the older warjacks in the service of Menoth, and its design reflects refinements in projecting Menoth's Fury through the repenter's flame thrower.^[1]

Strengths

• Low Cost Spray that Lights Things on Fire: The Repenter's spray attack has the additional benefit of lighting models on fire, so when determining targets it has a choice of going after low ARM models relying on Stealth or terrain to protect it from attacks or high ARM models that will take continuous damage from its Fire Effect. Models highly susceptible to the Fire Effect include low ARM warcasters and models with the Shield Wall Order. Though they might survive the initial hit, fire over time is likely to kill them.
• Chain Weapon Benefits: There is more to Chain Weapon than a POW advantage against models with shields. Chain weapons ignore the advantages of shields altogether, allowing it to avoid any benefit listed under the shield's abilities.

Weaknesses

• Reliance on the Fickle Nature of Fire: The Repenter's stock in trade is its spray attack, and a model with Immunity to Fire Damage will go a long way to nullifying the advantage of fielding a Repenter. Also, Fires go out 33% of the time.

• High Exemplar Kreoss: Place more Fire Effects on the field with its spray attack, particularly on the Feat Turn when everything is DEF 5 against ranged attacks.
• Feora, Protector of the Flame: The Repenter's spray attack can be a close/midranged source of fire effects for Feora's Wild Fire Feat. With Escort the Repenter can move 7" before attacking.
• Grand Scrutator Severius: Eye of Menoth makes the Repenter's spray attack more accurate and more deadly, starting out the attack at a RAT 6 and POW 13.

Warjacks

• Castigator: The Repenter can direct its spray attack with the Castigator's help without worrying about damaging it due to the Castigator's Immunity to Fire Damage.

Units

• Choir of Menoth: Use the Battle Hymn to raise the Repenter's base RAT to 7 and POW to 14, making it more accurate at placing its Fire Effect onto multiple models or killing them outright.
• Flameguard Cleansers: The Repenter can direct its spray attack with the Cleansers' help without worrying about damaging it due to their Immunity to Fire Damage. You simply use the Cleanser as a target to direct the spray how you want.

Solos

• Vassal: The Vassal's Ancillary Attack can give the Repenter an out of activation spray attack or it can use it to make a war flail attack to free it up so that it can spray attack on its own activation.
• High Paladin Dartan Vilmon with Paladins of the Wall: Vilmon and his paladins can be used to direct the Repenter's spray attack while in Impervious Wall, as they will be immune to both the spray's damage and fire effect.
