its okay! Don't be like that think of the good things about being single.
Yo the best thing about being single is that you don't have to worry about your manners
You also don't need to care about hurting your gfs feelings because you aren't datting. So you can hit on any girl you want.
Then you can also do all sorts of stuff like visting strip clubs etc.

Anyway here is my latest on my dating....
I asked a girl out and..................
I failed. She said "oh its too soon. I just broke up with my boy friend 3 weeks ago. And don't try and prey on me when I am weak."
:(
Well rejection hurts but at least i didn't cry. Now i can fully say, Rejection sucks. Screw my life as Teenager :shakes fist:

Ha! Like that would stop me! I'm naturally charismatic because I'm a nice guy, so I can flirt all I want, even if I was going out with someone.

THEN DO IT!

Fail for my shortcomings!

I married my best friend who is very VERY supportive. She shows interest and plays a few games with me every now and again (I'm in the middle of painting a Tau force for her), and she's even painted a few minis. Shes not "uber" into it but that's fine with me

Single, out of choice rather than forced circumstance. I value my freedom and abhor the responsibilities a relationship would bring. I'm sure I'll see if different one day, but that day is not today.

Gave my now wife the 'litmus test' when we first started dating(we knew each other for a year previous). she asked what i was doing and i told her where i was at the LGS, playing a game. told my friends we'd see if she stayed around.

she came in confused, and chuckled a little. and that's been about it. ever. Oh! the three times she's played with me in the past 7 years she's beat my ass every time.

now our five year old daughter asks when i'll teach her 'how to play ships!' and i smile and my wife rolls her eyes a little.

I have "known" a few girls in the past, but I don't think seeing eachother three times in total count as a relationship, so I voted "had a fling in the past".

I would like to meet a nice girl at some point, probably during university, but I'm far from desparate yet, so I'll just take it easy.

Dropped the hobby when i was 17 and played loads and loads of football and sport got alot fitter then went to uni and started hooking up with girls quite alot had 3 or 4 GFs in my 4 years at uni and few other flings.

Now finished uni back into wargaming again and have had a GF for about a year now.

Had quite a few in the past, and have an amazing one now who supports my hobby and says it is "creative". Wargaming has not affected my social relationships at all

Only recently got (back) into 40K/WFB, but it's always been something of equivalent "nerdyness." Wife has no interest in or clue about any of it, except that I'm having fun (and, I guess, that it keeps me off the streets).

Celebrated our silver anniversary just over a month ago.

Are you an animal? This post made me lol hard. If the "ok girls" in your school are furries, I shudder to think what the bad ones are like.

Im a college football player, so you can all imagine the stereotypes I have to deal with, which are just as bad if not worse than the ones most "nerds" face. You know, since I'm a football player I must be, immoral, illiterate, irresponsible, binge drinker(well that one might be true), and very vain. People just assume i'm a jerk overall. So, when people, especially women, find out I am not any of these things, they are very suprised. When I say I enjoy reading, they look at me like I have three heads. However, the one that always gets me is when i tell them my main hobby is painting mini soldiers. Many of them think im joking until I show them. After they get over their suprise, it turns into a pleasant discovery for them, and tends to work in my favor. I have had several girlfriends throughout High School and College and I started dating the latest one I met in my philosophy of religion class right before summer started, we are doing great. She thinks its neat that I paint , but does not understand much about the hobby, although she is supportive. I recently bugged her until she agreed to read a BL novel, Horus Rising! Hey, it's a start!

married with 2 little girls. next year will be our 10 year anniversary as well. we married young, she was 20, I was 22. we're happy though. spent a year doing pre-marriage counseling. worth every minute of it. really helped us learn to communicate, and that got better with time as well.

this isn't my only nerdy hobby. I am also an RC pilot (planes and helicopters) and semi-pro level RC racer for monster trucks back in the day. (think warhammer is expensive???)

I also ride motrorcycles (think my other hobbies are expensive!?!)

I will be adding novice piloting to that list.

why say this? because my lovely wife supports and attends these with me.

Aww, good for you!

Well, still here two or so years later, and still alone. My best friend is a girl however and I love her to death, so I'm content.

Shame it wasn't check boxes; I mean I've been divorced so it probably garners a mention.

Surprised to see no option for multiple partners, I'm no Slaanesh worshipper, but I don't often have just the one

The ex thought I loved minis more than her. I responsed by saying that's she's always reading and doesn't make time for me. We went our seperate ways (not because of the minis or books) and now I've got the minis and she's got her books.

Most gamers I have met seem to be good people who show hard work, dedication, and creativity. I have used many of my hobby skills on projects for my wife's women's group. It all depends on how you want to live.

Met my future wife 6 years ago. In a pub. Whilst wearing a long sleeve maroon shirt with stonewashed double denim jacket/trousers combo.

It was a theme night.

Funnily enough, I've only gotten back into modeling for around two years as I felt it was more rewarding of a hobby than video games. Plus 2 young kids meant that I could dip in and out of model stuff without needing to do it all the time!

I chose the answer " Had multiple partners in the past " but i am currently in a new relationship even though i had just left another ...

When i was a little kid, like net double-digit age yet

I must have been watching something on television, because i went from the living room to the dining room where the rest of the family was

and declared that i knew what i was going to be for a living. My parents asked what i had chosen ?

I replied, " I'm going to be a bat killer. "

They said, " you're going to kill bats for life ? "

With a small amount of puzzlement I said "no, i'm just going to live alone by myself and not got married. "

" Oh ! " My mom exclaimed, " you mean a batchelor "

I'm going to be 45 next year, no wife no kids, and actually very happy being an un-attached man.

Although that has changed recently as two females in succession have "moved in" on my space :\
