I just spent 2 hours in the ditch on my way to work. Now I don't have a car because my father took the tires out of alignment when he pulled me out.

Hmm..Spent the whole night 'playing' guitar. I've been playing playing for like a year, but have yet to learn anything worth-while.....ugh.

I find it absurdly hard to play really fast triplets....On a Strat...I've heard strats just aren't good at all for complicated strumming..Any basis for this?

I don't quite understand what you mean by 'complicated strumming'. I suppose if you mean a little triplet or gallop of some sort, they work just like any other electric guitar; what the instrument can do, for the most part, is dependant on the player and their skill, or lack their of in most cases. I have never had any problems with mine being overly difficult to do anything on, except hen I didn't know how to do it! Har!

Keep in mind the thing is a Stratocaster, so don't expect it to play really metal stuff on it or anything of that sort. I would try for some jazz or blues or very early rock 'n roll on it. I think the guitar lends itself really well to that kind of music, rather than Eddie Van Halen or whatever it is people my age are supposed to listen to these days.

I am so terribly out of touch with my own generation. I would have fit in better if it were the 1920s.

Now about me!: I tried to make a plasmagun out of a lasgun and plasma pistol last night, and it worked surprisingly well! There is just one little problem, however: I lost it. Hrnghrnghrng. Thankfully, I have about a million of the little plasma pistols and a few more lasguns laying around in my bitz drawer. I also got to work on a Chaos-y objective marker, but the project was soon canceled as I realized I have next to no non-loyalist bitz. Next time I go over to my friend's for a game, I think I'll try to nab some stuff from his box.

Thanksgiving was like a month and a half ago here but yess hapy mass murder turkey day! I am a guitarist too for about 6 years now and i also have a strat and it is for JUST metal, its tuned down to c-g-c-f-a-d with some thick ass string the zakk wylde kind i cant remember the thickness off the top of my head, but keep at it triplets are fun and wait till you learn sweep picking and sweep tapping..really fun but took me a long time to get down and strats are beautiful never think its the guitar because i have an esp mh400, bc rich mockingbird st, ibanez rg and a big fat ol strat and all are equally easy to play. Nope i meant c-g-c-f-a-d and its drop c tuning from the standard e-a-d-g-b-e then that do to many place but my guitars go as so

3 questions:

1. Is it an American Made Strat?

2. Are the strings the ones that came on the guitar?

3. What are the pick-ups that you have? If they are stock, time to upgrade (if the guitar is at least a Fender)


As for the Strat being "incapable" of metal is a damn lie. Yngwie Malmsteen pretty much throws that right out. Granted his music is incredibly similar from song to song, he can flat play.

Meh, listened to the radio today going to and from work, and this song played twice, but they didn't say who sang it or what it's name is.

So I am on my computer trying to see if it playes again so I can see what it's called.

I hate parties they have nothing good unless if their is a video gaming tournament which I always win, but it is still fun to be with friends in a organized party. Like the parties I do are well organized and have apporaite things to do, and no freaking dancing. As for the love of the emperor I mean seriously no one can dance that I know of. Not even the person from dance can freaking dance or drop a beat.
I mean seriously I hate parties that drop the ball it seems like they had put no thought into people who are shy and do not want to be apart of a freaking dance! I mean seriously, if you wnat to plan this out ahead of time it would of not sucked so much. (halloween party like 7 weeks ago failed so much, except for the one I made, It was uber! As 12 of my friends came and we played halo reach talked and made jokes up the entire time, and a whole lot of other stuff and we talked, and 6 of them are sports jockeys. ^.^ I call that a win.)

Yeah, my definetion of fun is also firing fireworks, and being an adrenaline junky when I feel like being a badass. (this is coming from a free-runner)

I don't do parties because i'm never invited to any, but I guess the best ones I can think of are more along the lines of 'friend-based social gathering' instead of 'rave'.

Drinks, food, music... the usual stuff, that's all you need for a party; none of those funky "legal highs" and party drugs (let's face it, if you need to take drugs (alcohol aside) to have a good time at a party, at least one or both of two things are wrong; either the party is crap, or you've got a bit of a problem) or any other fancy crap.

On the first day of Christmas, my workplace gave to me.... A dent in my parents car.

I walked out of work at 6 today, had to sit there for an hour with the cops, and then had to drive home for another 1.5 hours, all while barely eating anything all day

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I am up at 4:40 for swim at school, school from 7:20 to 2:03, then swim until 4:00. Then one tuesdays and thursday, I go to dryland/swim untill 5:00. Then its homework. But yet I am still horrbile out of shape .
