( OOC 1st the brifing said there was a gang war gining on. 2nd there was to many gangers in the car park for some thing not to be up. 3rd i never said the vhicle was moving tords us. 4th this is a blessing if there was a scermish when we took the car park the missing ganger will be unnoticed. 5 this is in frount of the car park not behind it where a group came from. And 6th the fighting could have started at the same time we made our move.))

((ooc, yes we are still avoiding detection. I attempted to downplay the use of Furns grenade launcher by RP'ing that it was a smoke grenade she fired rather than an explosive but I think it was missed. Also we were fighting "mutants"(creatures) not gangers, as too many gangers going missing would have been suspicious. I was hoping that finding mutants down there would link in nicely with Avare finding mutants and thereby making the problem appear more widespread than Avare previously thought. I'm also going to assume that the gangers who heard the fighting in the carpark were close enough to hear it, carparks do tend to echo but again i think it was because the downplay of the grenade noise was missed.
As for Dragonjaj's latest post I cannot say, I'll leave it up to EF to make a choice on how we should proceed. I plan to post my own snippet of text later on to take care of the last ganger and then I'm waiting for more people to post otherwise our team will be too far ahead of everyone))

Location: Serenity's
Situation: Tearing the place up
BAM!!
The explosion from inside Serenity's as multiple frag grenades went off was deafening. Screams and shrieks of agony and shock followed instantly. Avare scowled, there were a lot more people in there than Avare had first thought. She could hear a girl wailing, and someone screaming about their arm. Then Mast's follow-up grenades went off, leaving only a shocked silence.
Soric leapt into action, kicking aside an overturned table as he burst into the club, his hellgun sweeping across the room. Avare and Rally followed, Avare clicking off the safety of her laspistol.
"By the authority of the Inqui- Stay down you grox-fether!" Avare swore as she shot a crawling man, maybe he had been a gang member, maybe he hadn't, before starting up her announcement again. "By the authority of the Inquisition I command all persons within to submit to Imperial Authority, obey or die."
Three autogun slugs slamming into the bench beside her was her only response, Avare barely had time to duck behind a metal beam before the the survivors of the Yellow Dogs recovered from their shock and opened fire.
"Feth it! Troopers, take 'em down!" Avare scowled again, you'd think after having half an armoury unleashed on them the idiots would lie down and hope for the best.

Subject: Brother Ronan, Team Fallen
Location: Underground Carpark Stairwell
Status: Checking for a ganger
Ronan kept in the shadows and peered up the stairwell. Most of the sub level 1 staircase was broken and rubble strewn across the floor, from the ground floor upwards the stairs seemed to be in decent condition. Climbing up or down the broken stair section was feasible, but impossible to do without creating noise.
He was looking around trying to see a way he could handle the ganger should he come down when his enhanced hearing heard two very low pitched whistle sounds and recognised the sound as silenced sniper fire. he reached up and tapped his comm unit.
"Gaz, confirm you have downed two gangers" there was a slight pause before the response came back. "Confirmed Brother Ronan, two shots, two kills, ooohh yeeeah" he chuckled through the comm.
"Good" he thought to himself, the second ganger must have joined up with is friend and both gone to the underground carpark. "Mikal, Slavro, Ronan here, the two gangers have been neutralised, we will continue to hold down here until the building is secure or backup is required ... Ronan out .... .... Gaz, furn, retreive the bodies and hide them inside the carpark, they'll only attract attention if they remain."

She pulled it behind the gate then repeated the with the other body. "OK that's both of them, checking for in-tell." OOC: Why would they be carrying a map of the area they live in..? BIC: Characters: Khan Blake, Zeta Location: Serenity's Status: Assisting Inquisitorial forces Zeta and Khan heard gunfire and explosions from around the corner. "Gak it, we told them to meet us here, not needlessly go on an overzealous purging of the local community," Khan exclaimed as the two instinctively began running down the alleyway, "The lives of Inquisitorial servants could be lost for no furtherance of our objectives." They rounded the corner, Zeta maintaining a 'normal' speed to allow Khan to keep up. Up ahead, Serenity's was being razed; auto- and Las-fire from within almost blocking out the sound of screaming people. Several dead gangers lay at the entrance to the establishment. They rushed over, Khan picking up two auto rifles, tossing one to Zeta who expertly caught it with supreme ease. They then stopped at the door; one either side. They poked their heads around to see the small Inquisitorial retinue pinned down and exchanging the occasional shot from at least half a dozen Yellow Dogs; mostly from the other end of the room. "Lets take 'em by surprise," Khan ordered. He and Zeta both stepped in the doorway, delivering a punishing hail of firepower to the gangers, taking down three in the spray of bullets, before they ducked back behind the entrance as return fire peppered the doorway.

The building origionally had 2 men, on the second level, taken care of by brother Agyphus, I sent Ronan, Furn and Gaz to the dark and scary car park, I thought that becuase we are in the underhive, ignored by the arbites completely would have a few muties about.
So was my fault. I thought that because we were going to the sub levels of a hive that their would at least be a few muties. The road we were going along was deserted and strewn with rubble, and we didn't run into anyone since the drop off. So I thought it was like a deserted dark area, perfect for sneaking through. But of course, like any, underhive, muties like the dark. Again, my bad

Slavro spun on his heels, bringing the butt of the rifle up, ready to smack the face in of the remaining ganger. He pulled back once he saw Mikal standing their, above a steaming mound of flesh and organs. 'Feth that!' gasped Slavro, 'Good job Techy!' smiled Slavro as he slapped him on the sholdar. 'Ain't seen a mess like that since...well, it doesn't matter'
He turned back to Wilson offering him his hand. "After this mission, the two of you, me and the nearest bar to the safe-house that serves a decent drink, I'm buying." panted Wilson. Slavro smiled a toothy grin ' Too fething right!' Slavro took the bolt pistol back and checked the clip, only one bolt let off. 'Damn fine job the pair of ya!'
'Any mines left?' asked Slavro
'2 or 3' smiled Wilson
'Turn these bodies face down, and set the mines to detonate with a 2 second fuse.' grinned Slavro
Slavro pressed his commbead to his ear. 'Copy that, make your way up to the first floor on my mark, Agyphus, Flicker, is the building secure?'

Mikal watched Slavro go and nodded to him, he turned back to Wilson and gave the sign of the cog.
"Your offer is most gracious but we should speak another time, our work is not yet done." He looked down at the bodies with nothing but the efficient stare of the Martian priesthood in his eyes. "I must be off now, the Sergeant had requested some of the mines be placed in the basement and I concur, I am sure you will be able to fulfill his other idea about these." He said indicating the bodies and then turned and went into the basement, finding the gate, he continued placing the mines, reciting litanies and working delicately with the ordnance, then, only when he was sure of their function, he stepped back and beckoned the servitor carrying his extra equipment to come to him with the press of a button on his control panel.
His hand came up to his comm bead. "Sergeant, this is Mikal, the ordnance that I was given is now set up in the appropriate places, Wilson is finishing the mine network as we speak. But I have brought extra in case we need it, If you could tell me where our exit paths are, I can place them along said paths to ensure its safety until we are required to leave."
Mikal listened as more chatter came up on the mic, it was Furn, apparently she had found some sort of map. Mikal smiled under his rebreather and vox amp as his hand came back to his comm bead.
"Trooper Furn, please save that document, it may be very useful when I am setting up our surveillance systems."

He looked up and started to climb up the broken stairwell until he got to stable ground. He had already heard Furn acknowledging she was on her way and so presumably Gaz would follow her. He saw no reason to go all the way back through the carpark just to double back on himself, it was a short trek for them to get into the building from their current position and they were more than capable of fending for themselves if the worst were to happen.
He quickly peered through the door on the ground floor and saw Gaz and Furn enter through the entrance. Content with their safe arrival inside the building he continued to climb up the stairs to the third floor and along the corridor until he found Room 304 with Slavro, Flick and Kelly already waiting. As he walked in through the doorway he found a wall opposite of the window and leant against it so that his enormous size would not be seen from anyone looking in from outside "Furn and Gaz are in the building and on the way up" He said matter of fact.

Darkvoid: If I've painted our first meeting as slightly less respectful than you imagined, given that I do accidentally pop a shot or two off at you, please tell me. ))
Character: Avare
Location: Serenity's
Situation: Purging the filth
The room was packed with people, most of them no longer breathing. Serenity's was a poorly designed place, the only way out of the place was the front entrance, there weren't even any side exits in case of an emergency, or at least no conventional ones. Serenity's design had become a deathtrap for the people inside it. Trapped between the remaining Yellow Dogs, Avare put their number between six and seven, and the Inquisitorial retinue, the patrons had been torn to pieces. The club was a slaughterhouse, Avare counted at least twenty corpses, and only a few of those looked like Yellow Dogs. Men, women, hell there were the corpses of three juvies over in the corner, another was still alive, nursing his missing hand. More handiwork from the frags.
"Mast! Soric!" Avare barked "Peel to the left, get behind the bar and outflank them! Flush them out!"
Soric nodded, leaping over the bar bench as Rally covered him. Mast followed, breaking into a run, his boots crunching the broken glass underfoot as he sprinted to the safety of the solid bar bench. He was too slow.
"Urk..." Mast gave a small grunt as the autoslug slammed into his visor. He dropped to the floor of Serenity's with a crunching thud, his brain matter spread out on the floor behind him.
The ganger who had killed him gave a short whoop of victory, the next instant his head exploded in a messy fountain, along with two other Yellow Dogs . Avare spun around, there in the entrance stood a Yellow Dog, and some shabby sort of civilian, both shooting into the overturned tables where the surviving gang members where cowering. Instictively Avare brought her laspistol to bear, but her twitch betrayed her, the shot slammed into the doorway beside the civillian. He spun around and shot Avare an indignant glare.
"You stupid bint! What in the grox-gakking hell do you think you are doing?!" he shouted "Firstly, you were supposed to meet us back at Wagner's Weapons, but instead you come over here and decide to kill every single living thing you find. And then you try and shoot me, the frakking informant, when I try to help you while you purge half the frakking underhive!"
For fully three seconds Avare simply half-crouched there awkwardly, unable to respond due to the sheer shock, the cheek, of the informant...whom she had just tried to kill. Now that she thought about it, bursting into Serenity's hadn't been one of her best plans. Maybe next time they should try a more softly-softly approach. One with less explosions. She quickly recovered.
"Don't just stand there, frakhead!" she snapped, "Help me kill these bastards and tell me where the hell the manservant is! Actually, you can start with telling me your damn name, so I can write it down for a formal reprimand later!"
Khan dived down, rolling into the cover of an overturned table beside Avare. "It's Blake! Khan Blake!" he shouted over the exchange of firearms, peering over the table as one of the gangers squealed from a direct hit from Rally's pistol. The other members of Team Regent moved in to finish the surviving Yellow Dogs off. "And I think your people are dealing with these scum well enough!"

Wilson checked the surrounding area, all these tall habs should muffle the sound of the explosion and make it difficult for anyone to accurately judge the distance, he gave the wire in his hand a hearty tug as he yelled, "Fire in the Hole!"
The explosion of three Iron daggers stacked upon one another was small, but did the job, reducing the hapless gangers into pate while hardly rattling the OP's windows, just as planned.
Job completed he clicked his vox, "demolitions to all Fallen Units, Alpha through Charlie is hot, i say again, Alpha through Charlie is hot. Demolitions is now re-grouping"
With that he ducked through the broken doors of the lobby and up the stairs, although the others had reported the building had been cleared he kept his flamer lit and ready, just in case.
He found the others in he room the Sergeant had designated and gave them a nod as he entered, "we might want to put a sentry in the lobby and one watching the stairs, sarge," he suggested as he slumped to the floor beside the door and rummaged in a pocket for a ration bar, "we don't want anyone one storming us like we did to these idiots."

Situation: Making way to room 304.
“Sergeant….-is is…Bull…Comms went down…throne, that’s better. Something knocked my comms out. Operating on the assumption it was system malfunction. Ground is clear-Red Bull out.”
That last bit hadn’t really been nessercary, but Aygapus had thought it appropriate to add it anyway. If they were moving to phase two of the operation, then they’d better damn hope the area was free of gangers. Still, the ones they had encountered thus far had not been a great challenge. Aygapus sighed. A peculiar trait of his chapter was its desire to test its metal against foes of what it considered its own calibre. And, in this galaxy, the only thing that really constituted as that, were other Astartes.
Which was why the Minotaurs were so good at it.
Aygapus dismissed the troubling notion. There would be no Astartes here. It was just memories of Badab still fresh in his mind, that was all-sore wounds still open. Nothing more. Doing the High Lord’s work would clear his head. Making his way to room 304, Aygapus entered through the second doorway, just catching the end of Ronan’s statement.
“-and Furn are on their way up.”
Oh, good. Nodding to the assembled men, including the other Astartes, Aygapus adopted a similar position to Ronan and lent back against the wall in an almost conspirital manner.

"That looks like the last of them, Interrogator." Soric nodded, his hellgun still watching over the corpses of the Yellow Dogs.
"And their leader? Dalken Bras, how is he?" Avare looked at the corpses suspiciously, none of them matched his holopicts.
"I think that's him over there." Khan answered, pointing at the body slung over the bar bench. "Though it's kind of hard to tell with most of his face missing."
"Interrogator" Soric interrupted "We've got a juvie over here. Doesn't look like a gang member, and he might bleed out from that missing hand of his. Orders?"
Avare looked at the young juvie over in the corner, he couldn't have been older that sixteen standard years. He was clutching his wound absently and seemed to be in shock. He was young, but he'd also seen everything that had happened here. The noble who had been trying to ransom the manservant back would be suspicious if word got out that an Inquisitorial team had blasted the gang apart. Word might get back to the nobility about this, and Avare couldn't afford that.
Avare glanced back at Soric. "Like I said, Trooper. No witnesses." She turned back to Khan "Dalken Bras doesn't matter. I want to know where this manservant is. Tell me everything you know."

'Furn, third floor, fourth room. Says 304 on the door. Make it in 5, or I'll send someone to get you' said Slavro. The two marines made commendable speed getting here. Slavro offered them both a lho stick, but both refused, probably wouldn't have any effect on them anyway he thought.
Kelly was re-aranging the room in the mean time. Kelly broke a window in the darkest corner, and set up a small pile of bricks about three foot high, he rested his heavy stubber on top. Flicker spent the time searching each and every room, he left all the doors closed in the mean time, and left broken glass in front of each door, as well as the top of the stairwell.
'Once the rest of the team get here, I'll contact Avare and get our orders'

(OCC: bah, Wilson is a master at his craft, he can use a frag grenade to breach a door with hardly a whisper, or rig up several demo-charges and promethium tanks to create a firestorm from hell, if he didn't want anyone to hear him, they wouldn't, barring GM mindtricks of course. As for the Observation post Wilson is better suited to guarding it than on the lookout. So for now i'll keep him by the door of the OP, taking advantage of the quiet to nap and get some food down him. if something technical needs doing with explosives or you need him to take a turn on watch, just give him a kick)
Subject: Wilson
Location : Fallen OP
Status: Resting.
In his perch outside the door to the OP room, Wilson slept with his head on his shoulder and a hand on his flamer, using the experience of a veteran trooper in order to grab what rest he could, sentries had been placed and the Tech-priest was working his magic on their primary objective, and the mine fields had been armed, so he had felt justified in grabbing a nap.
He twiched slightly in his dream, but otherwise slept quietly and lightly, as those that didn't tended to have their throats slit while they snored.

Character: Khan Blake
Location: Serenity's
Situation: Informing
Khan glanced at the various members of the Interrogator's entourage, before gesturing away from them, "Come on," He said quietly to Avare, "They don't need to know any more than they have to."
He led Avare over to a secluded section of the bar and double-checked that no one was within earshot as the man named Soric swiftly finished the wounded Juve off.
"We don't have all day Blake, tell me what you know," Avare ordered.
Khan nodded, "Alright. Two standard Terran weeks ago, the manservant noticed a stranger residing in his Lord's holiday manor. He didn't tell me the details, but the stranger was carrying an Inquisitorial Rosette."
Avare raised an eyebrow, "Go on."
He continued, "The manservant fled from the service of the Noble who had ordered the other servants to be killed in order to maintain secrecy. He sought to disappear in the underhives - blend in with the common scum here, start a new life, that sort of thing."
"Which Noble was he working for?" Avare asked.
Khan sighed. "Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find out. He was terrified out of his wits when I approached him and he was highly suspicious. I sheltered him for a single night, however when I awoke, he had already disappeared."
"Well, where did he go?"
"Later that day rumors that the Yellow Dogs had recently dragged a man into their hideout was circulating in the local gossip. I contacted some of my sources and the identity of the Dogs' prisoner was confirmed as the manservant. The Yellow Dogs wanted to ransom him back to the Noble, but they lost him in a Crimson Jackals raid yesterday. The manservant is alive, but if the Crimson Jackals don't ransom or sell him off quickly they'll certainly kill him."
Avare cursed. "You mean if we had come one or two days earlier, we would now have the manservant in our possession?" She asked rhetorically.
"'fraid so. But that's the way of the underhive; unpredictable and ever changing. Well, in that respect it's consistant."
"Spare me your musings Blake. What information do you have on the Crimson Jackels?"
Blake sighed. "Nothing good. Over the last week or so they've had a massive increase in their recruitment rate - if the observations I've made are anything to go by, we could be looking at the gang size having almost doubled. Most of the new recruits joined because the Jackals' are becoming a new super power in the underhive and want to be a part of it - they joined as soon as Jackals' vets went searching for new members. However, some were from other gangs that were following the old saying "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em," so to speak. Essentially, they've got about thirty-five cannon fodder and an additional ten to fifteen gangers."
"Great," Avare replied sarcastically.
"I also have certain.. suspicions.. about them. I fear they may be some form of heretical cult, perhaps even dedicated to the Ruinous Powers. Either that or they wish they were. They have so called 'blood trials' when inducting new members that inspires a fearsomely high mortality rate, ensuring only the most hardiest of people earn a place in their gang. Fortunately, they appear to have foregone these heretical rituals with their new recruits - for now at least."
"Heresy!" Avare hissed. "Even the slightest possibility of such evil taking root here demands immediate extermination."
"Agreed. But as you may have guessed, that won't be very easy when taking into accound the sort of numbers we may be facing. I assume you've made preparations already?"
"I have," Avare confirmed. "The rest of my team have set up an outpost overlooking the Crimson Jackals' base of operations. However we will require a very ostentatious plan of action to eliminate them and capture the manservant."
"True. But it's not all doom and gloom," Khan smiled, opening a bag that he was carrying and rummaging through it until he found what he was looking for. He pulled out an image of a squat man in his early forties and handed it to Avare.
"The manservant," Khan informed her.

The holopict that Khan handed over to Avare was that of a short middle-aged man, with more weight than was appropriate for someone living in the underhive.
"The manservant." Khan confirmed her suspicions.
Avare still didn't entirely trust the informant. He had, after all, let the manservant slip right through his fingers. But that couldn't be helped now. The news about the crimson jackals was grim indeed, they were now twice as large as Avare had initially estimated they would be, even if half of them were chaff and newcomers. But time was against them, if they didn't move swfitly their lead could end up as nothing more than another useless corpse. They couldn't waste any time, the squat man on the holopict could already be dead.
"Ah frak it!" Avare cursed. "Soric, how long would it take us to reach Team Fallen's location?"
"Roughly 20-30 minutes, Interrogator." Soric replied.
"Frak!" They couldn't waste any time, Avare clicked on the commbead in her ear, the other members of Team Regent could only hear her end of the conversation.
"Slavro! Slavro, come in! Yes, change of plan. The manservant is with the Crimson Jackals. We need a snatch-and-grab operation undertakn immediately, we'll be reinforcing you in the next 30 minutes. I don't care how you get in there, just do it. No, pull back to the observation post once you grab him. With any luck we can catch the Crimson Jackals out between Team Fallen and Team Regent when they counter-attack. The manservant is a short, sightly overwieght man in his forties, though I doubt the Jackals have kept in good condition. Slavro, keep the manservant breathing. That is your first priority."
"Interrogator!" Rally interrupted.
"What?" Avare snapped.
"There's been a pick-up of Arbites activity on their channels. Two squads are en route to our position." Rally informed her grimly.
"How could they possibly know- Nevermind, how long do we have?" Avare didn't like this at all.
Rally listened to her commbead for a few seconds before responding. "They're taking a different route than us. If the muties don't slow them down, they'll be here in the next 10 minutes."
"Warp damn it!" This day just kept getting better and better. "Team Regent, move out!"

Mikal heard the communique on the team's channel. The words spoken made him temporarily stop what he was doing to focus on listening. After Avare's message was done, Mikal looked at the faces of those around him, some were surprised, some were apprehensive, a few were still processing the change of directive, two, namely Ronan and Aygapus just held the same expression they had had before the communique.
Mikal continued his work, setting up monitors and cogitators and other workings on the tables in the room and beginning their starting mechanisms and litanies spoken in shushed binary. He also began setting out the servo skulls and running preliminary function checks on each of the dozen he had with him.
"Hey Sparky." He heard one of the guardsmen next to Slavro say to him. "Why are you setting all that gear out? Didn't you hear? The mission has changed."
"Yes, trooper, but that does not mean that our methods must. I will obviously not be suited for a combat role, that function is meant for the others in this room. But what I do have is some high end surveillance equipment with me here. These devices can be used to find the target which we must now extract, undetected, therefore increasing our chances of success." Mikal stated in a flat tone. he turned to Furn.
"Trooper, may I see the map that you have obtained? Its contents may indeed improve our chances further by narrowing the skulls' chances for error on their errand." Mikal then picked up a large satellite dish with a tripod mount out of a box behind him and turned to Slavro.
"I require someone to place this on the roof, preferably with no objects near it that would cause signal interference. Its purpose is to widen the skulls' remote range much further than average. That is not what its specifically made to do but in theory this system should work."

And on the off chance that something goes wrong, what is our contingency plan.” With that, he unsheathed his knife and turned it over idly in his hand.

Soric almost felt sorry for these people. He had just killed dozens of innocents, Indirectly most of them, but still. He did't like what the inquisition called 'No such thing as innocence'. Surely there were innocents, the Emperor himself couldn't have been innocent either, look at what He started. Purging innocents. Killing orks and heretics was far more fun than killing innocent people.
He pushed these thoughts away, one could never be sure if one was reading anothers mind, especially with inquisitors in the making.
He quickly moved towards the door, and checked the road. There wasn't anything suspicious, except the suspiciousness of a hive city. There were no hive cities on Ousia, it was far too low populated.
He hated it here.

It all makes sense now! Buzz Lightyear was a Salamander/White Scars Assault Marine.
BTW, the term "Skylifter" refers to a type of Helipad utilised by the Arbites, one small enough to navigate the caverns of the underhive. They have a heavy stubber mounted on the side, and carry about 5 Arbites each. These fellas will become an annoyance soon enough.
Character: Avare
Location: Outside Serenity's
Situation: Fleeing before Arbites arrive
"Good, we can't waste any time." Avare motioned the lagging members of Team Regent forward, the Asassin had now changed out of his Yellow Ganger disguise. Avare spared a glance to the charnel house that they left behind, there were more than two dozen corpses there. The juvie in the corner was still now, a neat smoking las-wound in the centre of his forehead. Avare may have regretted the deaths of these civilians, not that they ever contributed anything useful as Imperial Citizens, but she would never hesitate to do it all again.
"For the Imperium." Avare muttered under her breath, before following the Team Regent out into the darkness of the Underhive.
Overhead, half a dozen Arbites Skylifters descended, their lights sweeping back and forth in the darkness.

Character: Soric Location: Outside Situation: "Holy Vrek" Soric jogged outside, sure there weren't any threats, just like a second ago. He was wrong though, six small aircrafts were sweeping light towards them. 'Vrek!' he cursed as a light beam hit him. He shielded his eyes, before running back in the bar. He pulled Avare back in as well, she was too important to lose. Soric somewhat roughly threw Avare against an upturned table, and she grunted, a look of disgust of what he had done to here. It didn't matter now. Heavy stubber fire was punching through the rusting metal walls of the bar. Soric ducked next to Avare, they both wondered how they would get out of this mess. "Khan, is there any other way out of this?" Soric asked. "We're in a bit of a stalemate here!" Suddenly the stubber fire stopped, and the buzzing sound of the nimble aircraft stopped. "Jager, do something!" Avare yelled. "Anything!" Suddenly a pair of cilinder like objects rolled inside the bar. "Smoke grenades." Soric warned. A dark and smudgy smoke filled the bar. Moments later, 5 Arbites stormed in the bar, Rebreathers and infra red visors helmets made it easy for the Arbites to spot them. Soric quickly put on his rebreather, and threw a flare grenade, that would hopefully shine some light in this now dark room. Soric spotted the first Arbites, it bore a large callibre shotgun. Getting up and taking aim, Soric dropped that arbites with a single hellgun shot to the chest. The Armor piercing laser was strong enough to even penetrate Carapace Armor, and punch a clean hole in his chest.

Character: Avare
Location: Outside Serenity's
Situation: Fleeing
The Arbitor, Rally Jager, looked particularily furious that the Inquisitorial Team had been set upon by fellow Arbites. She shouted angrily, brandishing her power maul as she berated the Arbites. Khan sped up the stairway, obviously having little faith that the Arbites would have a sudden change of heart. It was now or never, Avare thought, as she stood from behind her cover, displaying her Interrogator's Rossette, and shouted.
"By the Authority of the Imperial Inquisition, I demand that you lay down your weapons and submit to Inquisitorial authority! Anything other than complete obedience is an act of treason and shall be treated as such!"
There was a slight pause, and for a moment Avare hoped that perhaps the very mention of the Inquisition had cowed them. Then Soric shouted a warning "Smoke grenades!". It was followed by a spray of Executioner rounds that splattered across the bar, one clipping Avare's flak pauldron as she hastily ducked down.
"Throne damn it! Team Regent," Avare swore as she followed Khan up the stairs "Put your rebreathers on now, and fall back to the second level."
She got up just in time to see Khan diving off the balcony. It was too dark to see where he landed, but she heard the "Oof!" as something broke his fall. Behind her, the rest of Team Regent ascended the stairs, firing back at the pursuing arbites, who advanced more carefully now that one of their own had been put down by Soric's well aimed shot.
"Hurry up!" Avare snapped. "We'll lose them in the back-alleys, then make our way to the Observation Post. Move sharply now!"
Taking a few steps back from the balcony's edge, Avare made a quick prayer to the Emperor that something soft was down there before she leapt out into the darkness.

Situation: Making a noise
Brother Ronan pushed off from then wall, his Boltgun swinging up and being clasped by his other hand as he walked out the room "We'll be right back" he said as he walked out, followed by Aygapus who said nothing further and Wilson who followed the two Astartes.
The three men walked quickly down the stairs of the building and out one of the doors towards the gangers hideout, being careful not to trip any mines that placed. As they walked out into the open Ronan looked to Aygapus, it was all that needed between them to know what each other was thinking as they both crept closer to the hideout, using dumpsters as cover.
Ronan looked over to Wilson, who had already cottoned onto the idea and followed suit, taking cover behind a wrecked vehicle. Seeing they were all in cover Ronan nodded to Aygapus, who leant out of cover, spying a barrell and with accuracy that only Astartes had, shot the barrel with his bolt pistol, causing it to rupture and explode with a loud bang as the flamable liquid inside caught light.
As the explosion died down, they could already hear shouts of alarm, and almost in unison the three men leant around their cover, weapons drawn and ready to open fire. "Slavro, we will attempt to keep them distracted if you press the advantage and get a team inside the building to where the manservant is located, we will join you as soon as we can to cover the extraction ... agreed?"

Judging their location by footsteps and shouted orders he ducked out of cover and triggered his flamer just as a nearby door burst open, the three gangers screaming as the flames consumed them. "Embrace the Phoenix, scum!" he yelled, mostly to attract more attention to this side of the building than any bravado, then sent another spear of flame up at an upper floor window as he ran towards the door, causing the shooter there to throw himself backwards as the flames flashed past his face. Someone inside the building was firing out at him now, and he hugged the wall to the doors right as shots tore gashes out of the frame, during an opening in the incoming fire, he ducked out and sent more flames up the corridor, but the unseen shooter was too far back for the weapon to reach, So wilson ducked back into cover, as long as his orders were to cause distraction, he was content to let the idiot inside waste his ammo making noise while he prevented anyone from escaping through this entrance. Glancing up at the window again, he saw the shooter again taking aim at one of the Space Marines, so he hosed him down again from this blind spot, and was rewarded with a flaming corpse landing beside him. Wilson grinned beneath his rebreather, he was starting to enjoy inquisitorial work.

Agreed. But you have to understand that a Hellgun and Hot-shot Lasgun are completley different. A Hellgun could be overcharged to be as effective as a Hot-shot though.. a Hot-shot is just a refined and dedicated heavy-infantry killer. Hell, a Lasgun can be overcharged to pump holes in power armor, but at the expense of lots of shots.

Your gun won't last long.. it's a rare thing to do.
Just have your Hellgun set to fire on a higher power setting (perhaps even the highest) - far more powerful but less shots. "Hot-Shot" is just the type of power pack used by the gun that takes that as its namesake.

Subject: Mikal
Location: Observation Post
Status: Deploying additional base defenses and surveillance assets
Mikal was a whirlwind of activity. All three of his arms (including the servo arm attached to his utility backpack) were full. All were either activating, consecrating, or attaching gadgets to others. Soon, his dozen servo skulls were active and had all been verified as fit for use. It was then that the trooper Gaz voxed Mikal with his report.
"Confirm that, Gaz, I am a signal from the dish." So far everything had gone according to plan, although, the circuitry of the building was less than reliable so Mikal had to jack the system into batteries he had brought with the equipment for such a contingency. With that done, he unloaded the four heavy stubbers he had brought, and, with the help of a servitor, had set the four guns up on tripod mounts to cover all directions. Each gun was hooked up to a servo skull which was operating on a motion scanner which recognized Imperial signals and refrained from firing at them. Each gun was set on a different floor's window for varying fields of fire and would ensure that any gaps in the defenses were filled.
"Slavro, this is Mikal, I have completed the defense layers of the observation post, the building is now as secure as it will get." Mikal reported to the Sergeant.
With that done, Mikal moved back to room 304 and fully took control of the remaining eight skulls who began to float about the room, checking all their systems. Each one activated its photographic cloaking device, rendering practically invisible to the naked eye and this was where the map Furn had found was used. Mikal had the parchment scanned, the file calibrated, and uploaded a refined version to each skull, this simplified their scanning routes immensely and made their jobs much easier. Their routes selected, Mikal sent them out to begin their patrols and soon they had made it into the area where Slavro and his chosen warriors from team Fallen were now attempting to draw the ganger's fire.
"Be advised, Sergeant, it appears that at least a dozen more hostiles are converging on your position, their armament varies widely,m standby while my probes try to locate the manservant, they are converging on the hostile's headquarters as we speak." Mikal said as his skulls moved on unseen, darting through the air, behind the ganger's lines and towards their hideout.

Character: Brother Aygapus (Team Fallen) Location: Gangers hideout. Situation: Like…well, a bull in a china shop. The Lamenters fell with every shot from Aygapus’ boltgun, the traitor’s vile blood pooling on the ground before them. Just what they deserved, thought the Minotaur. Only other Astartes were a worthy opponent for other Astartes, and that was what Aygapus’ chapter was born to do-kill others of their ilk. Wait. He hadn’t had a boltgun on Lenclos IV. He’d been a Terminator at that time, and they had been fighting alongside the… The Fire Hawks. Yes, that squad of Fire Hawks. But, they had offered to be in the first wave. Where were they? Aygapus’ one squad couldn’t hope to hold this position by themselves. “Sergeant!” The vox-Stephanos. “The Fire Hawks, sergeant, they’re;-“ Aygapus snapped back into present day as the Ganger reached his cover, brandishing an old chainsword. Memories of Badab still raging behind his eyes, Aygapus grabbed the falling arm containing the blade with contemptuous ease and used it to hoist the flailing mortal into the air. Turning him onto his back, and giving a great roar of pure hate, the Marine brought the human’s back down onto his knee, cracking it with a sickening *crunch*, before tearing the corpse apart into two bloody chunks. Bronze armour drenched in the fountaining arterial fluid, Aygapus unholstered his bolt pistol and snapped of several quick shots into the stunned gangers, causing three of them to come down with a messy case of exploding head. Aygapus did not know what the other two members of the small squad thought of this slaughter. He didn't car’-the red mist was descending and this was a good day to be a Minotaur. Leaping out from behind his barricade into the crowd of charging gangers that had formed, Aygapus set about them with his knife, driving the blade straight through the chest (and out the other side) of one whilst turning the side of another’s skull to dust with a roundhouse kick. Ducking under the clumsy swing of a club, Aygapus drove the knife into his assailant’s sternum. The man choked, coughing up blood, but before he could fall back and die Aygapus turned the blade upside down and pulled upwards, splitting his chest and head straight in half. Stopping only to kick the lumps of brain matter from his boot, Aygapus was vaguely aware of the numerous bullet wounds that were starting to form on his body. He didn’t care. As long as he brought time for Slavro to get the manservant, he thought as he felled another Jackal with a devastating head-butt, his duty and his blood debt were fulfilled, and if he was truly meant to die here then only the Emperor could change that. He just hoped the other members of the team could take advantage of the opportunity he was buying with his own blood.

Character: Brother Ronan, Team Fallen
Location: Gangers hideout
Situation: Taking out gangers
Ronan climbed atop the dumpster he was using as cover, leaping up easily in a single bound and perched himself on single knee. The sound of Aygapus's chainsaw ringed in his ears as the side of his face and torso were splattered by blood as Aygapus shredded the hapless ganger before tearing the man in half. Ronan wasn't phased even slightly, "such things are the essence of war for an Astartes", he mused to himself as he leveled his boltgun.
Normally he would yell his Chapters battle cry, but today it did not seem apt. His battle cry was for those who had betrayed his chapter and spelt doom for any heretic who heard it, it had no place here amongst the decaying under-city of some backwater world. He identified twelve gangers in all, three already writhing on the ground in flames, their screams cut short as death took them quickly, far too quickly he thought to himself. Another had met his end literally at the hands of Aygapus. And several others lay on the ground, the tell-tale signs of the handy work of an Astartes were very apparent on their broken bodies. He pitied them, they seemed to have no comprehension of the world outside or the bigger picture, the only thing mattering to them was the petty squabbling in their own miniature tiny world. Their deaths were meaningless
The four remaining gangers ran towards them, one running down the left side trying to avoid the smoldering flamed gangers and the other three running in a trio with each one slightly behind the other and to the right running down the right side. All of them seemingly unaware of the danger they were in and the futility of there efforts against such odds. He depressed the trigger of his boltgun, the muzzle flashed as a single bullet erupted and struck the nearest ganger in his lower torso. The ganger was wrenched and spun full circle on the spot by the sudden impact while half his stomach exploded and showered the gangers just behind him in blood and parts of organs. The shot ganger fell awkwardly to the floor, gurgling up blood as he tried to cry out in pain, the ganger behind him just managing to step over his twitching corpse.
The gangers were momentarily stunned from the shock of seeing their comrade dismembered by a single bullet and having his blood shower them. “A fatal mistake” Ronan thought to himself as he moved his bolter to aim at one of the stunned gangers. Several shots rang past him from the ganger to his left, one managed to graze the back of his neck and another more luckier shot striking his left shoulder which his armour managed to deflect. Ronan didn’t even wince as he shot his bolter again, a bright flash followed and the bullet struck home into the lower neck of the stunned ganger. A foot square worth of flesh exploded out the back of the ganger as his head then flopped forward to fill the gap left by the hole left. The ganger fell to his knee's, hanging there briefly for a few moment as blood squirted out the giant hole as his still beating heart kept pumping blood until his body finally slumped forward and landed with a thud front first into the dirt, his head rolled for moment over the floor but was kept close by the few remaining strands of flesh still lholding the head to the body.
The third ganger skidded to a stop, his face filled with fear as he pumped shot after shot from his Auto-pistol into Ronan's chest, a true look of dread filled the mans face as Ronan shrugged of each shot and jumped down from the dumpster. The man started to back up, fearing for his life as Ronan leapt foward and smacked the the ganger across the face with the butt of his boltgun ripping his jaw clean off from his head. The ganger was staring to his right, unable to function as the sudden impact to his head stunned him completely, the pain only just being apparent to him as Ronan then brought his boltgun straight into his stomach, causing the ganger to jump 3 foot into the air from the blow as Ronan then pulled the trigger. The bullet ripped into the gangers stomach and erupted out on the otherside as the lifeless body fell to the ground broken.
Hearing more shots ring past him he turned to face the last ganger, a shot hit him in the chest causing him to flinch backward slighty from the impact though his armour deflected most of the damage. But instead of taking the shot at the last ganger he smiled evilly and a lifted his boltgun up and resting it up and over his shoulder, held with one hand. The ganger slowed, confused by the Astartes action and knew something wasn't right. As he came to a stop his face turned grim as he slowly looked to his right, seeing the nozzle of Wilson’s Flamer being raised over the cover he had been crouched behind. A loud roar erupted as Promethium spewed out from the nozzle and turned the ganger into a human touch. Over the screams of the ganger as he flapped his arms around, Aygapus and Ronan could hear the sounds of more gangers approaching and gave each other a knowing look, there was still more work to be done.
"More Incomming!" he yelled, running forward and taking cover behind some rubble.

Subject : Wilson Location: Ganger Hideout Status: Clearing area. Wilson ducked back into cover after hosing down the Ganger attacking Ronan, his grin still on his face, Indeed duty was its own reward, the incoming fire was intense and poorly aimed, but most of it was directed at the Astartes and after watching the two of them tear men apart with their bare hands he wasn't surprised. Fortunately the Marines were shrugging it off like the gods of war they were. Keeping his head low to avoid attaching more attention, the Combat engineer moved to another flanking position, this was something he would remember for the rest of his life, he was fighting alongside Space Marines! The Emperors' will made flesh! He felt the charm beneath his chest armor for reassurance, muttering a prayer of thanks to the Throne for this chance to witness his power. Suddenly he was tacked from this side by a ganger he hadn't seen while he moved, and the two of them fell into a sprawling heap, but the first thing Wilson did before pulling his knife was deactivate his flamer, the last thing he wanted was to be spraying burning fuel over over while he struggled with this feth-head. The Ganger was small and wirily, and his leering face was marked with some-kind of tattoo, and gripped Wilson's knife wrist in a grip far stronger than such a small man should have been able to, and slowly, ever so slowly, the knife was being moved towards Wilson's throat. "No!" he yelled, and brought his helmet forward in a vicious head-butt that shattered the Ganger's nose and loosened his grip, in that instant, Wilson drove the five inch blade into his opponents eyes socket, then kicked him off and leapt back to his feet. "I am an Imperial Guardsman!" he bellowed as he removed his blade, "In the Emperor's name! I die standing!" He turned and was scanning the darkness for his allies when a sniper round took him in the chest.

EDIT: by "Other team" i mean the guys who are supposed to be going in to get the manservant.

Character: Brother Ronan, Team Fallen
Location: Gangers hideout
Situation: Taking out gangers
"In the Emperor's name! I die standing!" Wilson bellowed as a shot from above struck him in the chest.
Ronan had spotted the sniper too late. He cussed himself for having not noticed sooner and that the first sign had been Wilson taking a shot to the chest, as an Astartes he should have been prepared for such a cowardly attack and all he could do was watch as Wilson fell backwards to the floor clutching his chest.
"Aygapus! Covering fire! Sniper!" Ronan yelled and sped from his position behind the cover to where Wilson was laying. Aygapus seemed to be in a world of his own as he raised his bolt pistol and started shooting at the window, as Ronan ran he also fired his boltgun. The masonary came off in large chunks as brick and glass were shattered from the combined bolt fire but the sniper had managed to duck away from the open window.
As Ronan reached Wilson he saw he was not dead but the wound was indeed deep, he would require medical treatment if he was to survive which thankfully he knew the Hospitalizer would be here soon along with Avare and the others. "To your feet guardsman! If you do indeed die standing then you are not yet dead!" He said, as he helped pull Wilson to his feet, he knew there was fight left in him and still time to get his wound treated after the manservant had been secured.

( OOC: Oh my dear Interragator, you have no idea yet.)
Character: Brother Aygapus (Team Fallen)
Location: Gangers hideout.
Situation: Flashing back.
He was on Lenclos IV again.
Aygapus ducked underneath Sniper fire from a Secessionist, a manoeuvre made difficult by the bulk of his Terminator armour. Jerking his head to the side quickly, the Minotaur narrowly avoided experiencing the sensation of a Meltagun blast hitting him straight in the face. However, the impact of the blast knocked Aygapus from his feet, sending him sprawling into the dirt.
Moving to rise, Aygapus returned to hugging the ground as another sniper bullet whizzed over his head. After checking sure it was safe, he got back up and bounded forwards, allowing small arms fire to bounce harmlessly off his war plating. Retracting his Lightning claws, Aygapus bent down to retrieve a bolter from a fall-
“Aygapus! Covering fire! Sniper!”
The enemy marine ducked into cover as Aygapus sprayed his location with boltgun fire. Leaning out again, the traitor Astartes fired, this time impacting into one of the Fire Hawks that had been advancing alongside the Minotaur Terminator squad. The Marine’s chest burst open in a spray of gore, and he crumpled to the ground a broken heap. Aygapus let off a few warning shots towards the sniper, before moving to aid his comra-“
Aygapus leapt behind a barrel, snapping off a few more shots towards the ganger with his bolt pistol.
”No!” The voice of the Fire Hawk sergeant cut across the internal vox, taking Aygapus momentarily off guard. “Leave him, concentrate on the silo! The silo!” Furrowing his brow beneath his helmet, Aygapus paused for a moment before turning back to re-join the rest of his brothers. Something about the Fire Hawks wasn’t right. They had not removed their helmets in the time they two squads had been fighting alongside each other, and to say they were supposed to be stragglers they seemed to have a pretty good knowledge of what was going on in the wider war. Aygapus pushed these thoughts aside. Now was not the time to be beset by doubt, for it was a sin against the divine Emperor.
Kirinos fell; his armour rent open by a lucky missile shot. Aygapus swore loudly, and colourfully, before taking careful aim at the sniper with his scavenged boltgun. Terminator armour did not make this the easiest weapon to use, but if anyone could pull it off an Adeptus Astartes could. Depressing the trigger, Aygapus raked the Lamenter’s position with shells, finally catching the trai-“
The sniper’s head was hit squarely by the pistols bullet, causing it to explode messily in a shower of bloody matter. The body, and now jutting spinal cord, jerked around morbidly for a few seconds, the dead muscles firing the sniper rifle as rapidly as they could (but ineffectually into the air), before the corpse fell from its heightened vantage point and impacted the ground with a thud.
With that, the mist began to leave Aygapus, though still fire poured out towards his, Ronan’s, and Wilson’s position….wait. Where was Wilson? Turning his head, though still losing off rounds from his pistol, Aygapus regarded the form of Ronan supporting the injured guardsmen. He seemed to have taken a sniper bullet straight to the chest, and once more the memories returned to cloud Aygapus’ thoughts.
“Ronan, get the Fire Hawk to safety. I will deal with the rest of these traitors.”
Not waiting to hear his brother’s reaction, Aygapus raised his knife and, with a cry of “For Lord Moloc, for the High Lords, and for the Emperor!” he vaulted over his makeshift cover towards the mass of juvie gangers, defiance etched on his lips.

Yeah, I read that as 50 total as well. Though I think Darkvoid might have meant that this is what they recruited since they expanded (after all, the Crimson Jackals are supposed to be much larger than the Yellow Dogs were). I think we can safely say that they number anywhere between 70-100 all up, but we don't know the exact location of much of their force, which is very likely to be ,milling around in confusion after experiencing two Walking Angels of Death (+ a Die-hard Guardsman) coming up and kicking their teeth in.
@dragonjaj: You're with Sergeant Slavro (Toastedandy) as they try to infiltrate/crack-open the Crimson Jackals stronghold. And generally, so far, the messages to other players have been within the dialouge of characters posts. Careful reading should clear that up.

"Far side of the street! Take it out!" Slavro switched his gun to auto, and attempted to provide surpressing fire, Flicker did the same, emptying a full clip into the streets.
The gun fire stopped momentarily, Furn swung her grenade launcher around, and fired a salvo at the enemy emplacement.

Subject: Mikal
Location: Observation Post command center
Status: Probing base with all haste.
(Time for a little Ghost Recon action... )
Mikal's fingers blurred over and around the monitor's control panel. There were large amounts of data to analyze and decipher and Mikal had a busy time multi tasking between receiving the information that he was receiving from his drones and controlling all their movements at the same time. Mikal's servo arm helped with that, it served as third hand which he could use for the control interface.
The drones very clearly showed the Team's position: not good, despite being more well trained and well equipped than these Gangers, there were far more of them than originally anticipated, this was going to heavily lessen their chances of success, Mikal could only have faith and pray to both deities he served that Avare's team would be reinforcing them soon.
One of the drones provided a clear overhead shot of the Gangers' complex, it was dark so the skull was forced to use a nightvision setting in order to get a clear picture. Many older buildings made up the complex, it was as if a small town had been secluded by the group to defend their little haven. All were fortified in some way, all had multiple guards on roofs, in windows, many were mobilizing in open areas, no doubt in order to combat the two small teams of Imperial agents now assaulting their base from both sides. There were a few drum fires and spotlights giving the area light as darkness was now falling in this hive sector. Mikal kept the drone in position and set it to feed its video directly to the team's data slates.
"Be advised Team Fallen, I have uploaded a video feed to your slates, you should now have a good view of their base areas and numbers of hostiles."
Mikal then switches his view to a drone that is busily scanning the areas around the encampment. Activity is seething in this area, some gangers are talking or shouting agitatedly, Mikal, however notices that some gangers are emerging from underground entrances that are hidden inside buildings. His drone finds an open ventilation shaft to shimmy down and the signal flickers for a few moments before finally becoming clear. Now this was queer, there seemed to be an underground complex under the ganger's above ground complex. Tunnels crisscrossed through the area, some crudely made and small, others layed with concrete and obviously more official looking. Mikal pushed his drone deeper into the compound, careful to avoid patrols or other inhabitants of the tunnels. As he ran deeper in the labyrinth, the audio signals picked up the sounds of human suffering. His probe went into one of the side chambers which revealed a large room filled with cages, each cage had one or more men, women, or children in it, obviously mistreated, obviously tortured, and Mikal surmised, possibly used as slave labor, but for what he did not know.
A cloaked ganger came into the chamber wielding a club and whip. Mikal's drone watched as the man opened several cages and dragged miserable people from their shackles and shoved them into the hallway. Curious, Mikal pushed his drone to follow. They neared the entrance to a huge chamber which seemed to reside under the center of the complex. As the group entered, the probe right behind it, the video signal became very dark and choppy, Mikal took a moment to adjust the feed...
He very soon wished he hadn't. With a gasp Mikal beheld the chamber. Its walls were covered in runes he knew were blasphemous, all around the chamber more cloaked gangers stood, chanting something in a guttural language Mikal didn't want to know the meaning of. In the middle of the chamber was a huge pit, all around it stuck out metal spigots where rotting human remains were festering on the black iron spikes of several eight pointed stars. Mikal hissed audibly, the taint of chaos!
As his probe panned around he could see a platform had been erected over the pit and a large man also cloaked but wearing a headdress that Mikal could only describe as ghastly, was standing on it a line of the wretches from the cages had bee formed in front of him and as the first one came forward, the chanting reached a crescendo and the man was disemboweled ceremoniously by the headdress wearing cultist. His blood poured over the platform and his body was pushed into the pit. A pit, Mikal was loathe to notice was already filled with hundreds of gallons of blood and entrails. As the body tumbled down, a cry was lifted from the throats of the Jackals
"Khorne! Khorne! KHORNE!"
Mikal made the sign of the cog and shouted into his vox before he could regain control of himself. "Omnissiah preserve us!" Mikal continued his job, now pale and sweating, sweating! He didn't do that except under the most trying circumstances. Amongst the next in line sacrifices was a man Mikal recognized as the man from Avare's picture; the manservant...
Mikal secured a private line to Avare. "Lady Avare." He said in a shaken voice "I believe you need to see this." He finished as he sent her the video feed from that drone.

@Resien-tanith: Right here. I was waiting for Toaste and Warboss to kick the 'infiltrate/bust the gang stronghold' into motion.
For other members of Team Regent (including Darkvoid) our current situation is that we seem to have shaken off our arbites pursuers, and Khan is leading us to the Crimson Jackals so we can reinforce Team Fallen, it looks like they'll need it. I also completely forgot that we can transmit video feed, so everyone should have a picture of the manservant on their holoslates.
In addition to adding Khan's character sheet, I've updated the recording logs on other charactes as well.
Character: Avare
Location: Under-hive, in the back alleys between Serenity's and the Crimson Jackals stronghold.
Situation: Following Khan Blake
Avare and the rest of Team Regent hurried down the alleyway after Interrogator Blake. Though the sounds of Arbites pursuit had died away after the first twenty hectic minutes of running, Avare could still see the Skylifter's circling around Serenity's.
"Lady Avare." The voice of Engineseer Holtz, unerringly shaken, came through Avare's commbead. "I believe you need to see this."
Avare glanced at her holo-slate, blinking at the content as the scene unfolded before her. Heresy, most vile and blasphemous, was taking place under the Crimson Jackal's stronghold. And worse, it was only a matter of time, minutes, before the manservant, their only lead, suffered the same fate. She glanced nervously at the other team members, could they be trusted with this knowledge? And how much of this had Interrogator Blake known, how much had he chosen to keep to himself?
Nonsense, she told herself. They were agents of Imperial Inquisition, a couple of Gang members turning heretical was the least of what they faced.
"Mikal" Avare responded "Upload this to everyone else, and stress the importance of Sergeant Slavro making haste. We'll be reinforcing you soon."
"As you wish, Lady Avare." Mikal affirmed. "Omnissiah guide you."
"The Emperor Protects." Avare countered. She meant every word of it, and hoped this would extend to the manservant.

I don't care how I'll call it, it has the strength of a hot shot lasgun, though it isn't with ammo packs. The ammo is supplied by the backpack attached by the cable. BIC: Character: Soric Location: The Habs Situation: Running, avoiding arbites, and heading for the Crimson Jackals' hideout. Soric was pumped up after the short action at the bar, It had been a long time since Soric had seen any action. It had been two and a halve months, on normal occasions, Stormtroopers went from battlefield to battlefield, and so didn't have much time to recover. Those months in a penal colony had certainly hardened him in many ways. He ran after Team Regent, at the rear, keeping away any mutants or general scum that dared to come close enough to the team. He couldn't risk firing his hellgun, that would maybe give Regents Position away to the Arbites. Intead of firing it, he gave any hivers who dared close enough a mean look, and a swing of his gun towards them. That kept the majority away. Suddenly, Soric got a pict message from Avare. He taped the play button on his helmet, and the pict message was shown on the retina of his left eye. It showed a vile ritual, with, who was supposedly, the manservant. Soric couldn't stand watching it longer, and so switched it off. He knew he had to make a good time at getting there, the life of an important link to the target was endangered. "My lady, how long 'till we're at the location?" Soric asked, already increasing his running speed a bit.

Ronan was helping Wilson to his feet when he heard Aygapus shouting something quite out of place. "Firehaw ...? ... He pressed his comms unit as he looked at the dataslate that bleeped with new imformation. "All units be advised, Aygapus is engaging enemies inside the complex, watch out for friendly fire"
Ronan looked around, the shouting of Gangers that were coming towards them had bigger things to deal with, namely a seemingly halfcrazed Astartes bearing down on them, in either case the distraction was working perfectly, hopefully it would be enough to allow the other part of the team to extract the manservant.

Character: Avare
Location: Northern Edge of the Jackal compound
Situation: Moving to engage
Avare crouched behind the ruined wall of a hab-block. Ahead she could hear Slavro's team, just across the street, they'd breached a wall and stormed one of the buildings in the compound. The building was in such disrepair Avare failed to see where it ended and where the wreckage scattered throughout the street began. Slavro's team was penned in by eight gangers, firing randomly from the rubble. Most of them were armed with autoguns, but two were dragging a heavy stubber off a corpse. The gangers had their backs completely exposed.
"For the Imperium!" Avare screamed, breaking cover and firing at the new heavy stubber crew with her laspistol.
She missed completely, but the gangers looked up startled and tried to scramble the heavy stubber in their direction. Two well-placed shots from Rally put them down quickly as the rest of Team Regent charged into the remaining gangers.
Soric grunted as two autogun rounds slammed into him, but the carapace armour protected him as he gunned down the offending Jackal. Zeta leaped over a make-shift barricade into two others, his C'tan blade (that is what Callidus are equipped with, right?) slamming into the face of the first, the blade penetrating cleaning through his skull. A savage punch crushed the throat of the second Jackal, who collapsed to the ground, choking, before Zeta stabbed down savagely.
Avare swept in beside Zeta, tackling a ganger who'd been raising his autogun to fire. The Jackal, no stranger to grim close quarters fighting, punched her in retaliation, whipping out a wicked looking shiv before charging at her. Avare spitted him on her power sword, scowling as the scarred ganger's last breath left him. The adrenaline, charging through her, started to give way to shreiking reality. Noticing a dull pain, she looked down. The gangers knife stuck out in her side. She tasted blood on her tounge, a thin tendril trailing down her chin.
"Sister Lucia. Sis-*cough* Aajz!" Avare cried hoarsely as she leaned against a collapsed support beam. Ahead, Team Regent advanced, Avare's distress unnoticed.

It didn't hurt, Wilson noted distantly as he stared up at the murky hights far above him, funny, you'd think a round that size would have hurt when it hit. He tried to remember what Mary had said about gunshot wounds, if you can't feel them you're in shock, or [erhaps his armour stopped it?
He glanced down at his chest it seemed his flak armor had stopped the worst of the round's impact, but their was far too much blood for it to only have belonged to the ganger that had rushed him. Both then.
"To your feet guardsman! If you do indeed die standing then you are not yet dead!"
Strong hands pulled Wilson to his feet, and held him upright as the sound of bolter fire and fracturing masonry indicated the snipers demise. then the pain hit, "Emperour's teeth." he swore, clucthing his chest "thats going be a problem."
Wilson gripped his flamer and re-lit the pilot light, pausing to un buckle his rebreather for a second so he could cough up a mixture of spit and blood onto the already slick floor beneath him, then nodded his thanks to the Astartes who had assisted him.
"Thanks, I may not have long, so lets get moving. I will not die with my duty undone."
The Space Marine nodded, and hurried to assist his brother, with the wounded guardsman hurrying the best he could in his wake.

Subject: Mikal
Location: Observation Post command center
Status: Attempting to buy teams some time
Mikal watched as both teams attempted to converge on the ganger's base...he had to correct themselves, they were no longer simple gangers, they were heretics, cultists devoted to the dark gods. Mikal did his best to shake the memories of the chamber from his mind, he had seen such things on Cadia, it was dreadful when one's humanity caused them to doubt so severely. Mikal silently thanked the Omnissiah that his faith was adamant and would always be so.
Mikal watched his monitor and analyzed the data he was receiving, there was little else he could do from here with the probes, he could see that quite a few members of the team were wounded and it seemed that Brother Aygapus was rather unstable at the moment...Mikal had found it probable that such things would happen, perhaps he should have told Avare of his suspicions...
That couldn't be helped now, Mikal had the proof right in front of him, his hidden probe was still circling the cult chamber and the line in front of the manservant was getting shorter all the time. Mikal had to do something, but what?
An idea came to his mind...but..it was extremely...unusual, almost more than his own standards...
The scenarios began to play in Mikal's mind, there was little choice in the matter, if they wanted the manservant alive Mikal had to do something to stop the ritual...
Positioning the cloaked probe near the wall opposite to the cult master, the one on the platform who stood very close to the precipice of the pit, Mikal prepared his strike, he had to admit it was extremely crude but he didn't have much of a choice, the probes were not equipped with weapons. Mikal prayed to the machine spirit of the probe for forgiveness for what he was about to do...
Mikal gunned the probe's thrusters forward driving them as fast as they would go, which he had to admit was not very fast. Using the camera as his iron sight, Mikal flew the probe straight at the cult master who didn't see the probe in the darkness until it was too late. The probe ran straight into the man's head and toppled him into the pit with a scream. The probe managed to recover and hover in the air for a moment. The gangers stood agape, unsure of what had just happened, they saw a floating shape where the cult master used to be, finally, with a shout, they began to pick up weapons and fire at Mikal's probe. Mikal used all his skill to dance the probe out of the way of the shots something which it did well. The probe was fast moving, small, and nearly impossible to hit. The cultists began yelling about daemons and shadows, causing Mikal to smile a bit. Then he remembered that the probes had speakers and that he could further this ploy to his advantage...
Mikal routed mechanic feedback and amplified the static screeches that the speaker put out, soon, he had a floating, glowing red eyed, roaring skull that was flying around the cultists chamber. Mikal's probe zigged and zagged emitting its cry and generally causing a distraction as the cultist tried to shoot it down. His object was not to take the cultists down, but to stall them for long enough for the teams to get here without the cultists killing the manservant. One of the cultists ran for the door, screaming something about ghosts, Mikal smiled and chuckled, this was working rather well....

Subject: Brother Ronan
Location: Inside the Hideout
Status: Creating a Distraction with Wilson
Ronan entered the building, a wounded Wilson right behind him with flamer pointed at the ready and obviously doing his best to ignore the injury. They both followed a long corridor, doorways plentiful on either side as they walked along and causing them delay as they checked each room for gangers hiding inside.
Aygapus was nowhere to be seen, but the signs of his travels were strewn everywhere with dismembered gangers and blood painted walls all over the place, it would be hard for anyone to figure out which body part belonged to which body. As they came to a sharp left turn Ronan slowly peered around, jumping back as a hail of bullets came his way.
He had only time to get a glimpse of the enemy, a ganger at the end of the corridor with a heavy stubber on tripod, too far away to use Wilsons flamer and too risky to stand in the open to fire his boltgun. Seeing some debris he got an idea and grabbed one of the larger pieces of fallen wall. It was about half his size and at least 8" thick with metal rods laced inside to give it more stability.
He held the huge chunk of reinforced concrete in front of him by the metal rods protruding out the side, then quickly ran around the corner, blindly racing towards the ganger as he let rip the heavy stubber, taking out large chunks of the concrete. several shots broke through and struck Ronan in the torso. However it did not break his stride and he closed the gap at lightning speed, using the sound of the gun to judge the distance and smashed into the tripodded Stubber, sending both it and the ganger flying.
He stood in front of the mess, breathing heavily, the shots having done more damage than previously thought as he then composed himself and walked up to the sprawling ganger trying to free himself from the weapon and rubble that had him entangled. Ronan stood over the ganger, his huge bulk blocking out the dim light as the ganger stopped struggling to look up at the Astartes, only to see his enormous foot coming down and crushing his head into the floor. A loud crack was heard as his skull snapped under the weight and blood squirted out both sides, coating the nearby rubble.
He looked around, the mission was to still create a distraction, they'd need to find something else to make some noise with. With that he turned and walked back towards Wilson who was keeping an eye out on anyone that might have tried to flank them. "Perhaps Wilson may have a few ideas?" he thought to himself

You'll notice I only gave Wilson a partial mention in my post because later on he can quite easily do his own thing while my character was busy doing his thing. Situation: Combat
Soric quickly checked his vitals. The rounds hadn't pierced his carapace, luckily. There already were some wounded, and Soric prayed he got out of here in one piece. The dents in his carapace could be repaired, so he didn't have to worry working with broken gear in the future.
""Soric have you seen the chief any where?" Rally asked.
"How in Vrek's name should I know?" Soric replied. Keep your focus, there's no time for this. The manservant is our top priority, not the gang leader."
Soric tapped his vox bead in his ear, messaging for Avare
"My lady, we should proceed to the basement, from what I've seen on the holo pict, the ritual's taking place over there."
"Acknowledged." Avare sent back over the vox.
Soric quickly jumped behind some cover, and observed the area. In the distance, he saw a door to the basement. Taking that door would lead them to the manservant.
"Come on, follow me!" Soric yelled.
Soric dashed out of cover, lasbeams and bullets streaking everywhere. The different lights of las were like light show, but this didn't affect Soric, he just kept on running. The shock of being hit fresh in the back of his head, Soric fell back this time. He felt like being punch on the shoulder, but very hard. laying down in the open, he checked his shoulder. A slug round had ravaged the carapace shoulder plate, a large whole surrounded by cracks. A small stream of blood leaked out of the whole in his carapace.
Picking himself up, he started running again. His shoulder hurt a lot, and he slung his Hellgun over his shoulder, and drew out his Autopistol. He wouldn't be able to shoot two handedly for the remainder of the mission. The enemy wasn't armored, so the low armor piercing shells should do the trick. He aimed for the offender, a ganger not further then 5 meters in front of him. Two pistol rounds, and the ganger dropped dead, two neat holes in his chest. Soric reached the doorway, and jumped behind cover again. He saw Avare Rally, and another Inquisitorial storm-trooper coming in from the rear. Soric waited for Avare, and waited for further orders. He hoped to get in the basement soon.

((I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing, so I'll just post this))
Character: Slavro, Flicker / team fallen
Location: North-East (I think) of Crimson Jackal hideout
Situation:
Slavro swung the butt of his rifle upwards, catching the juve in the jaw, shattering his teeth. The juve, no older than 14 years, collapsed on the ground, trying to hold the blood and teeth inside his mouth. A brute of a man charged into the room, smashing the loosely hanging door out of his way. His entire arm was made of a low grade bionic, ending in a saw blade. He swung the buzzing machine at Slavro, barely missing him. Thick smoke choking the small room. Slavro flicked his gun to full auto, and sprayed his assailant with high powered las shots. Slavro turned back to the boy, he was crying in the corner, with his hands over his mouth. Slavro reached for his bolt pistol.
Flicker crept along the perimeter fence, all hell has broken loose. The team was split up and out numbered, Flicker didn't even know what he was supposed to do, kill people? He could do that, only thing he could do. He spotted Soric across the rubble. He waved at his team mate, but got no response. Probably didn't see me, he thought.
"RELOAD THAT FETHING THING!"
Flicker flinched at the order, there was a machine gun emplacement right above his head. Flicker crept along the man made bank, and crawled up into the opening. 3 men, armed, distracted. Flicker slid his knife from its holder. They were untrained with the gun, they had no problem shooting the thing, but had no idea how to reload it. Flicker crept to the biggest one, the one given the orders. He cut the back of his knees out, as he fell to his knees, in shock, flicker swung around to his 2 companions. He drove his knife into the head of his first assailant, the second one grabbed a nearby rock and charged at Flicker. The biggest one turned, and grabbed Flicker around the waist. DOOF, Flicker got knocked the f*** out.
Thats right, Slavro knocked the crap out of a 14 year old.

Character: Soric Location: Hideout North Situation: Covering Slavro and Flicker. Soric saw Flicker wave at him, but Soric's attention was somewhere else. The stubber emplacement above Slavro and Flicker. The crew was fumbling with the weapon, and Soric wanted to shoot the three, but he saw Flicker climbing up on the unexpecting gangers. He decided to let Flicker do the job, and watched as he cut the first one's knees from under him. Not much later Flicker got in trouble. The two other gangers knocked him down, and dropped him to the ground. With Flicker out of the way, Soric brought up his Auto-Pistol, and emptied his entire remaining clip into the two gangers. Five Pistol Rounds rammed into the two gangers, killing the smaller one instantly, but only bringing the big one to his knees. Quickly reloading, he finished the bullish ganger with a pistol round to the head. Soric already was down to only two clips of ammo, and he scavenged another pair of clips he found on a dead ganger nearby. He tucked the clips with the rest in his ammo pouches attached to his belt. Soric pressed his vox bead again, this time tuning in on Slavro's channel. "Slavro, get the hell over here, finish what you're doing. We're going underground." What Slavro did to the young boy, Soric didn't know. He'd seen him knock down the poor kid, and draw a bolt pistol, but from this distance, and the loud noise generated from the underhive, Soric didn't hear a bolt shell being fired. "Acknowledged." Slavro voxed back. "Let me just get Flicker." "Leave him." Soric replied. "We'll pick him up later. We got a priority." With that, Soric cut the link. He forgot he wasn't a captain anymore, and handled out of a captain's instinct. It wouldn't surprise Soric if Slavro would go after Flicker first, then reprimand Soric for giving orders to one of higher rank. He pushed these thoughts away, as the sound of gunfire dragged him back to what he was supposed to do, getting the manservant out.

@dragonjaj: I know, that is why I posted that Slavro's team were now inside the building (I assume they entered through your new doorway) when Team Regent moved in to support them.
OOC: As of now, Team Regent and Slavro's Team have cleared the gangers in the immediate area (by beating the gak out of any gangers who happen to be 14+ or older). Other gangers may be on their way, but a fair few are more likely to be either heading towards Agyapus/Ronan/Wilson or chasing a servo-skull around the sacrificial chamber. This post is the two teams meeting up and becoming a single unit. Our immediate objective is to head underground and get to the chamber. Expect messy, and confusing, underground firefights from here on in. Casualities like Flicker (whether dead or unconcious) will be left behind.
Toaste, please I can't take you seriously with sound effects like DOOF!
@Darkvoid: Although you've posted here often enough (which means you at least are paying attention to the thread), Khan rarely gets a mention. If possible I'd like to see more from you as well, perhaps demonstrating his psyker abilities?
@Scrazza: I think Resien meant me when she said cheif (I was wounded in my previous post). But I'm not sure. We are bound to come into contact with the gang leader sooner or later, and he's definitely going to be a mean SoaB. Interesting challenge of authority there, it falls in with what Avare would do, but how will Slavro react?
@Resien: I feel that we should simply regroup at the moment, we have a moment of breathing space to regroup before rushing underground.
Character: Avare
Location: Northern area of the Compound
Situation: Having Team Regent and Slavro's half of Team Fallen meet up
The pain in her side was still there, Avare noticed. She had bitten her tounge as Sister Lucia had looked over her, but the stimulants had soon worked their magic. She could actually feel them swiftly clotting over the wound as well as energising Avare, effectively getting her back in the game. There would be a scar, but it was just another scar to Avare, it was nothing when measured up against the mission. It still hurted like a grox-bite, though. She looked at the progess her fellow henchmen had made.
"Ma-am, you okay?" Proctor Jager quizzed as she leaned against the cover of a ruined wall. Avare nodded, the pain was grinding down into a dull ache, and her head was clearing at least. Rally Jager returned the nod before she leant out of cover to dispatch a ganger.
The last ganger in the street, a burly bald-headed brute dressed in tattered rags, collapsed to the ground. He made a weak gurgling noise as the Arbite advanced and put another round in his chest to make sure of his demise. Soric and the two Inquisitorial Storm Troopers were searching the bodies, quickly stripping them of any useful gear, and executing any of those stupid or unfortunate enough to show signs of life with quick, low-powered and efficient shots to the head. The two Stormtroopers had fallen behind the Ouisan ex-captain naturally, as soldiers sometimes did when they saw a natural leader. Avare admired their competence as they stripped the bodies, they were likely low on supplies after all, but they had to push on. Every second they stayed here was a second the manservant didn't have.
"Soric, get Slavro over here. I want a sitrep now." The Ouisan nodded before voxing Avare's request. Avared tuned her commbead into Engineseer Holtz's line. "Engineseer, give me an update of the situation in the chamber."
To the south another explosion rumbled, falmes illuminating the dimly-lit sub level.

oouuu I'm sorely tempted to keep it up, but I'll end up typing out to RP's in the same posts. Scotish version and translated readable version
Character: Brother Ronan, Team Fallen
Location: South section of the hideout
Situation: Trying to make a bigger noise
Ronan moved ahead, leaving Wilson behind to catch up in his own time as he went down one of the corridors leading off from the broken gun emplacement. He hugged the wall as he followed the corridor, hearing hushed voices coming from up ahead at the end of the corridor and recognising two distinct voices. Clearly they had either heard the ruckass and had just arrived and were readying themselves to confront Ronan or, they had seen everything and had decided against a direct confrontation, their hushed arguement seemed to confirm the latter.
He halted his advance and pointed his boltgun towards the door frame, hunching down for better aim and moving the gun slightly to the right of the doorframe where he could see the slight outline of the gangers arm. Pressing the trigger his boltgun errupted, bolts flashed from the muzzle and pounded into the wall and doorframe, ripping through with ease at the ganger on the otherside. Body parts splattered as the bolts struck into the back of his torso, ripping the hapless ganger to shreds. The second ganger stumbled into view in the doorway, his pistol poorly pointed towards Ronan as he stumbled across trying to shoot him in a rushed fashion as Ronan's bolts caught him in the mid-drift and ripped open half his torso.
Several shots whizzed past Ronan as the second gangers body fell to the floor fatally wounded. Seeing all was clear Ronan leaned forward preparing to move when his hearing picked up a strange sound, a hissing noise right near him. His face hardened as he whipped his head to the right, seeing a large cylinder bottle. "KRELL!!" he yelled as he swung his body round to the left, using his back as a shield and tucking his head down as a metal ripping explosion sounded as whatever was inside ignited.
The sound pierced his ears and he felt a searing heat go over his back as it rose outward then up to the ceiling and leaving a giant hole in the wall and floor where the cyclinder was, the top half of it split open like a peeled banana. His armour had thankfully kept off the worst of it but he felt his skin tightening as it burned from the intense heat that has washed over him and knew it would leave its mark as it healed. He stayed in his hunched position for a few moments more as the flames disapated, the corridor still awash with heat and anything flamable was flaming quietly in the rubble strewn corridor and making the corridor more eluminated. He grunted in displeasure and turned to look round, seeing the split cylinder still simmering from what ever gases and gunk still remained inside.
Just as he went to stand his world tipped sideways, the floor of the corridor gave way and tipped into the tunnel complex below. Poorly constructed beams gave way from the explosion that had rippled above, causing the roof of the tunnel to collapse in on itself and the corridor along with Ronan fell down with it.
...
...
Everything went silent, Ronan laying on his back listened to the only sound enemating from the chamber, the trickle of small stones and rubble clattering as everything settled. There was rubble all around him, he was laying ontop of most of it and he was almost completely grey from the dust. He sat up slowly, the silent room made noisy again as he disturbed the loose rubble which clattered and tumbled down the pile he was laying in. He looked up, he could just about tell through the gloomy darkness that he had fallen 2 floors down. The room he was in was extremely large, far too large to support the weight from everything built above so no wonder it had collapsed. As he moved he got a pain in his right knee, he knew he had dislocated his bionic leg and grunted loudly as he held his leg and twisted, forcing the bones and metal back in place with a loud crack. At least he could walk on it, albiet it with less speed. If he had been a mere human the injury would have been crippling, he would ensure he sought medical treatment from the techpriest as soon as he was able.
He moved his hand to his comm unit "This is Ronan, I am inside the south underground of the hideout, plans to distract the enemy have had a setback" he said matter-of-fact, then paused, looking to one end of the wide room where several crude boxes and cylinders of all manner were being stored in an extremely unsafe manner. He pressed his comm's unit again "However i might have a new distraction"

You welcome

Character: Mikal, Team Fallen
Location: Observation Post
Situation: Continuing diversion tactics
Mikal's hands were a flurry of activity as he continued to dance the servo skull around the sacrificial chamber. In the past few minutes, several cultists had either fled the room, rushed into the room upon hearing the noises, or left chasing their sacrifices as some made a break for it. Mikal checked the position of the manservant briefly and saw that the man was cowering behind the biggest, sturdiest piece of cover he could find. Mikal also watched as a few cultists made their way to the pit to investigate the screams of the ritual master that were coming from below. Apparently, the man was still alive and the cultists crowded on the platform were desperately trying to find a way to get their comrade up. Mikal smiled as he saw the set up of yet another setback for the cultists, on the next pass of the skull, he piloted the thing into the back of one and knocked him in as well.
Mikal would like to say that his probe had gotten away scot free but after that collision, the thrusters gave out and the skull fell into the pit with the other two. Mikal tried vainly to get the skull functioning again but to no avail, dissapointed, there was only one thing he could do, he entered the code for the skull's self destruction and with a prayer of thanks and a heart felt plea of forgiveness to the skull's valiant machine spirit, he pressed the activation rune on the keyboard and in another ten seconds, amongst the shouts of the cultists, the device exploded brilliantly, sending shrapnel and flame shooting out of the pit and no doubt putting the fear of the Imperial inquisition into the cultists. With that, Mikal checked his other drones who were busy flying over the ganger's fortress. He could see that the two teams had closed in considerably since he had last checked.
He could not concentrate on the team's progress though, as the first team member to have made contact with the manservant, it was his duty to regain another eye into the chamber. He took direct control of another probe and began its descent into the fort, by now, every single ganger's attention was on the attack outside and so none noticed the small skull floating towards the same underground entrance. With skill, Mikal piloted the probe back through the underground passages and, to his delight, saw that the cultists below ground were in disarray, many ran this way and that, guns drawn, shouting to each other about an attack coming from underground or such things as ghosts, the episodes of fear and confusion the ganger's exhumed pleased Mikal as he snuck his probe around corners and finally back to the chamber, as the probe entered the chamber, the first thing he noticed was a distinct lack of cultists in the room. Mikal surmised that the explosion must have scared them all into fleeing the room.
"Engineseer, give me an update of the situation in the chamber." Mikal heard in his ear, it was the Lady Avare.
"Well, through the sacrifice of one of the probes, I have successfully been able to....divert the cultists attentions from the ritual, Ma'am" Mikal said, unsure of how he should put his antics into words. "As of now the manservant is in no danger and....well, you may understand better if you look at the video feed, Lady Avare."
With that, Mikal had his probe do a once around of the room, the walls were now covered in shot holes, but was for the most part, empty, Mikal took a look at the sacrificial pit, to his satisfaction the entirety of it had been scorched from the explosion of the probe, so, in his own way, he had helped to purge the unholy thing from existence. In the darkness, Mikal found the manservant, still hiding behind the crates that he had been behind for the past few minutes, he floated the probe towards the crate and had it hover at head height, with that, he activated the speakers on the skull and directed its feed into his own vox.
"Greetings, my name is Engineseer Mikal." He said formally to the shaking manservant. "I have come to your aid in behest of an imperial investigation, please do not move, my comrades will be here shortly to see that you are safely escorted out of the area."
(Okay, not much dialogue between me and the manservant but then again I really don't know his character, so......)

((ooc, whats considered normal will differ between different RP's. This particular RP is more story driven than action driven, therefore the majority of people here are posting several parargraphs of well-documented information that describe what their own characters are doing, what other characters are doing, and describing the environment around them so readers can visualize the scene.
I'm afraid adding little one liner sentences just does not give other players anything to work with. I believe that one liner sentences are more in key with DnD style RP's than story driven ones. You'll notice that even characters who are unable to post a lot are posting a minimun of a paragraph and giving enough information for players to work with or work around.
Why not try and take a little more time with your posts, and post quality over quantity, I think you'll find it more personally rewarding as well as giving everyone else a much better chance to sync in with your posts and contribute to your side of it. I'm saying this in hopes of helping you contribute here and not to insult you or anything))
EDIT: dragonjaj, if you ever have any queries or want some assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me via PM and I'll do what I can though a lot of the leg work will need to be done by yourself.

BIC:
Character: Aajz
Location: Northern area of the Compound
Situation: Having Team Regent and Slavro's half of Team Fallen meet up
Avare lay wounded while Aajz sealed up the wound using the reductor. The bleeding has stopped which was good, but there was still a chance of infection. Taking several syringes, she applied the analgesic first, then the various antibiotics.
Luckily nobody else was wounded except for the unfortunate gangers who had managed to get in the way of the warband. Looking at one of the gangers who has recently been killed by the warband, he look strangely diseased being a pale sickly colour with few pock marks, yet also looked as if he were in perfect health. Aajz noted this as worthy of further investigation and secretly took samples while the others were not looking with utmost discretion.

Character: Blake Location: Team Regent, Jackals base Situation: Purging the Unclean Khan had so far merely observed the combat, various members of the retinue engaging, killing and occasionally getting wounded by the Gangers. He noted with detached concern that his fellow Interrogator had been shot a short distance away, but was quickly being tended to by their resident Sister Hospitaller. He looked around when he heard a nearby sound and watched as at least a dozen Gangers rushed out of a nearby building, equipped with a mixture of Auto and Las weapons, however to his dismay he noticed several more esoteric weapons such as Chainswords and also a Plasma gun. A Stormtrooper dropped seven metres to his right, the man's upper torso shredded by mass firepower. Khan's eyes began to glow with ethereal power as he rose up from his cover, summoning his fearsome psychic powers. A few of the Ganger reinforcements turned to engage him, but much to their disappointment their weaponsfire merely impacted upon a barely visible forcefield that was now surrounding the Acolyte. They stopped and stared in terror as he outstretched his arms - the forcefield dissipating - and searing lightning leapt from his splayed fingertips, great power corruscating about Khan's body; flowing through him. They screamed as they were burned and electrocuted until they were nothing more than charred skeletons, their flesh having been seared from their bodies' even as their innards were cooked. Steam rose off the blackened bones as the chain lightning leaped from one horrified Ganger to the next, consigning the same fates to the others. The light in Khan's eyes disapeared as he banished his power until next he needed it. Overlooking the results of his psychic onslaught, he decided that he had been far more thorough than necessary. But it had indeed felt good to vent his hatred of this disgusting gakhole in which he had been forced to live in recently. He was so engrossed in his musings that he was completely taken by surprise as a massive bear of a man tackled him to the ground from behind. Khan wriggled onto his back in time to see a large fist hurtling towards his face. He tried to dodge the blow, but there was no way he could and before he knew what had happened his nose was broken. The man readied another punch, but Khan stopped him with a hard punch to the throat. He consolodated his counter-attack by punching the man in the face before pushing him off. He scrambled to his feet and delivered a kick to his gasping opponents' face with his iron-tipped boots. Blood poured from the massive Gangers' face, who apparently wasn't out of the fight yet. Khan kicked him in the stomach, but grasping hands grabbed his leg and pulled him to the ground. The man stumbled to his feet and as Khan tried to escape he found himself being lifted into the air by the throat. The giant holding him tightened his grip as he slammed Khan into the wall of a building, choking him. Knowing that attempting to release the crushing grip around his throat was futile, he reached down to the small sheath at his side and grabbed the eight inch knife. He brought the blade up and deftly plunged it into his assailers' throat, the steel blade impaled through one side and protruding out the other. The giant man recoiled in horror, dropping Khan in his shock and agony. Swinging his legs, he knocked his opponent to the ground before leaping upon him even as he gasped for oxygen. He stared directly into the giant's terror-filled eyes, blood from his nose and mouth dripping off him and mixing with that on the Gangers' face. "Your soul is forfeit, heretic," Khan whispered as he withdrew his blade, causing blood to spurt from the dying man's jugular. He stood, whiping the blade clean on his vanquished foes' clothes, before sheathing it and heading off to retrieve his Lasgun from the ground, adrenalin blocking out his pain.

Wilson, Agypus and Ronan have to make a tactical decision as to whether finish doing their damage to the gangers and fall back or push on and try to meet up with Avare. Weapons live and power-weapons sizzling, let's get sum.))
Character: Avare
Location: Northern Area of the Jackal Compound
Situation: Rallying Team Regent and Slavro's Team
Slavro left Flicker inside the building, running out to report to Avare. The other team members kept a keen watchon the abandoned street, apparently their attack had gone unnoticed for now. He didn't bother to throw a salute, that would only help any lurking gangers identify who was in charge, the less the enemy knew the better. "Well ma'am, as you know, Brother Ronan and Wilson are to the south of us, and they seem to be doing a fine job of drawing the Jackals attention, they're under a lot of pressure and won't hold out much longer. Ronan has reported Agypus as MIA, we don't know his whereabouts or his situation. As for us, there's me, Trooper Furn and Interrogator Claudius. Flicker is out, but breathing."
Avare nodded, with only one casualty so far Team Fallen had fared better than Regent. "We'll have to leave him behind."[i] Slavro's silence answered her. [i]"There's no other option, sergeant. We'll pick him up on the way to the outpost. For now, we need to keep moving." Slavro didn't respond for a few moments, but he eventually relented nd gave a curt nod. "Interrogator, there's a lot more gangers than we anticipated. Have you considered calling in reinforcements?"
Avare smiled sourly, "Too late for them to be of any real use to us against the Jackals. And I doubt communications will be clear, or even viable, down here. But with the Arbites also after us, I'll have Holtz's send a communique requesting extraction all the same. If anyone can get through to the Sactum's Pride then it's him." Avare tuned in her commbead to the Engineseers line. "Holtz, can you get through to the Sanctum's Pride from here? We won't be able to return to the surface the way we came with the Arbites breathing down our neck, we'll need pick-up and reinforcements."
Mikal responded genially [i]"I should be able to get a message, though I estimate that it will take them some time to navigate the under-levels and get to our position in this cavern, even if I activate a beacon. Two hours would be an optimistic guess."
"Good, get right on it. We'll rendevous with you, Kelly and Gaz at the outpost as soon as we can." Avare cut off the channel.
Slavro nodded again, less than delighted at the prospect of being hounded by the Arbites. Ah well, no helping that. "We've got an entrance to the underground over here." he said as he walked back towards the half-collapsed building. Pulling aside a rusty grate he threw a flare down the tunnel, illuminating the darkness. "It looks like the tunnels are lit by torches further up. he pointed as Avare peered into the hole. She turned, the rest of the team members had gathered behind them, ready to spring into action. She grinned wickedly, calling over her shoulder as she sped off down the tunnel. "No time to lose, Furies. We have a job to do. By His will."
"The Emperor Protects." Came the chant from behind her. Avare's grin grew wilder.

BIC Character: Soric Location: With Avare Situation: Ready "The Emperor protects." Soric muttered with the rest of the assembled men. They all crouched in cover, other gangers could easily find them and attack them with renewed vigor. Avare sped off down the tunnel, and Soric was the first to follow her. He sprinted just a handful of steps behind her, the others in turn behind him. He could see the torches further down the tunnel, proof the gangers weren't far off. "I should suggest you move with caution, My Lady." Soric said. "The tunnel ahead may hold dangerous enemies, and with respect, you are already wounded." Avare replied by saying, "Wounded, yes. Incapacitated, no. We move on, further down the heretics' lair." Soric reluctantly agreed, and comforted himself she was an Inquisitor in the making, she could take care of herself without bodyguards. As they moved further and further, the light from the torches grew stronger. Soric could hear noise up ahead. No, not just noise. It was chanting. The gangers, now cultists, were chanting to their vile god, a god of which Soric could not dare to pronounce the name of. The chanting grew louder, and as soon as the team rounded a corner, Soric could see the culprits. Seven cultists were praying to their false god at an altar. Across the altar lay a leather-like skin. Soric recognized it as human skin, he had seen this kind of ornament before, when an Ork warboss wore the dried skin of a squad of Ousians as a trophy. The memory of this made Soric even more angry, and even before Avare could react to this sudden discovery, the first of the cultists toppled over unto his face, his back one bloody hole as the overpowered shots from Soric's Hellgun carved thraight though the heretic. The cultists kneeling before their altar hardly had any time to react to the threat. Moments later, the combined fire of Team Regent and Fallen's assembled members cut the remaining heretics down even before they had time to draw a weapon. It was faintly humorous. The cultists literally died worshipping their vile deities. Soric threw one of his remaining grenades at the altar, the explosion reducing the blasphemous altar into pieces of wood and burned skin. The chanting was gone, vile words left unsaid, and the team moved on, ever closer to their target.

What I don't understand is how you can get so debilitatingly confused when nearly every single post (except for yours might I add) has a heading with the names, location, and situations of every single PC in this game.
Its not that hard, if your lost, the easiest thing to do is to go back and read half a page or more if necessary before the last post and see whats going on. /rant

Then it isn't our fault you can't keep up. We're not going to change the style of RP we're doing because you prefer the other one. I'm sure EF wrote that this would be a story driven RP, and not an action one. This is a long post RP, not something like those other 'things' that call themselves Roleplay Games, in which you post a single line of IC content and be done with it.

dragonjaj: At the moment you are with Avare/Slavro/Rally/Soric/Aajz and Khan as we enter the underground complex.
As Scrazza has pointed out, this RP is more story driven than the Dark Heresy roleplay. I've repeatedly encouraged players to include and interact with one another in their posts. What I definitely want to avoid is people just doing their own thing, with no heed to the situation around them.
A short post like "Avare jumped out and killed three gangers with her powersword, then ran into the next room." doesn't cut it.

(Aaaand...IC GO!) Character: Brother Aygapus (Team Fallen) Location: Gangers hide out. Situation: Alone in the dark. With the final bullet, Aygapus heard the sound of what he guessed was a heavily bleeding corpse slump to the floor, and almost as to back up his assumption the firing came to a halt. That meant either two things-one, all the enemy were dead, or two, they were conserving ammo to pepper him with shots when he left gunner. He decided to put his trust in the Emperor and hope it was option 1-after all, nearly all his ammo was gone, so he was going to need to get moving anyway. Sure enough, the end of the corridor was chock a block with the dead, and if there were any more they’d began to fall back. Aygapus doubted that though-these people were cowardly, that was true, but when they sensed what they believed was weak prey they’d fall upon it like the hounds the warp themselves. He was lucky-in the confusion, he doubted they would have been able to realise he was a Space Marine as opposed to a normal man, and that meant they stayed around longer for him to kill them. As he approached the bodies, Aygapus let out an acidic spit-they weren’t just gangers. They were mutants. The taint of heresy here was worse than he’d thought. Mutants…Aygapus’ mind flashed with images. He and members of his task force had been beset by numerous mutants during the Badab War, operating in isolated communities upon the worlds the Minotaurs chose to grace with their presence. They were nowhere near as well equipped as these had been, but even so there ferocity had been quite surprising. Not that that had made it any more difficult to erase the stain of their existence. The memories of that war brought his mind back to the present…Ronan. Where was Ronan, or Wilson? Then it occurred to him-in his rampage he’d accidentally penetrated much further into the Crimson Jackal’s hideout than intended, and his brother and the mortal had stayed behind. Good-no need for them to die down here as well. For a moment Aygapus considered trying to vox the rest of the team, before deciding against it; even if there was any power left in the communication systems built into his armour, which was unlikely, Avare had made it very clear that any liabilities would be left behind. And as much as it pained him to admit it, that’s what he now was. Up ahead the dull red light still throbbed at the end of the dark tunnel. Aygapus reasoned that that must be the entrance to the Chaos Shrine which Mikal had just managed to message him images pertaining before communications got knocked out. To think there was a shrine to the dark gods of the warp, close to where he was standing…Aygapus felt the rage build up inside him. He suppressed it with an effort. Now was not the time to be choleric-like it or not he was wounded and low on rounds. Solving those problems, just surviving came first in this instance. Vengeance later. Turning to stalk back down the dimly lit passage, Aygapus cast a momentary gaze towards the ceiling where he knew the rest of the task force were preparing for phase two of the operation. “Hunt well.” quietly murmured the Astartes, before he slipped away into the darkness.

You're going to have to understand that this isn't turn based, it's story driven and will continue to be story driven. As for siezing control of other people's character, describing what is going on around you (such as when Avare described the Callidus Assassin killing another ganger) that's not siezing control of their character, just integrating them into your post. 'Seizing control' would involve describing the character's thoughts, their motivations etc.

Imagination, educated guesses, informed decisions..
Just a few things that could allow you to integrate other characters into your posts.
Also, if you can't see the difference between normal roleplaying and turn-based RPGs... Oh dear.
As for that "channelling" business, maybe you should stop listening to your character and start writing more fiction relying upon your own ability and imagination instead of writing short, inconsequential posts.
Don't feel as if we're ganging up on you here, jaj. We're just trying to improve the quality of your roleplaying.

Subject: Wilson
Location: Ganger hideout tunnel complex.
Status: Wounded, assisting Ronan.
"Ronan. Catch."
The Space Marine looked up as a shadow fell upon him from the hole he had made above, and caught the melta bomb that Wilson dropped down to him with casual ease.
"That'll make some noise."
Wilson coughed wetly into his re-breather and swore under his breath as he scanned both ends of the corridor to cover the Marine while he worked on destroying the Hostile supply depot, he hadn't heard or seen a single ganger ever since they had entered the complex, nor had he heard anything from the other member of their distraction team, that meant either the gangers were all dead, or something else had diverted their attention, and considering the distraction had included a Space Marine who pummeled men to death with his bare hands, it must be something serious. Either way their objective was achieved, and they could withdraw to the OP, provided they could contact the others and report in.
He tried the other channels for a while, trying to raise Aygapus or the OP, then gave up, the mass of tunnels and rockcrete was rendering his comm-bead useless
'I can't rase any other the others on my Vox." he told the marine, "should we call this section secure and fall back, or head further in once we're done here? I'll follow your lead."

Character: Avare
Location: Underground Jackal's Stronghold
Situation: Meeting up with other Team Fallen members
After the worshipping cultists had been slaughtered, Avare swiftly made the sign of the aquila. The shrine was an abomination, the runes that covered it made her eyes sore. For the second time that day, the Interrogator wished Trooper Wilson and his flamer was on hand. They could set explosives to destroy it, but they simply didn't have time for that and Avare knew it. "Keep moving."
Two minutes later as the team hurried down the dimly-lit tunnels, their gear clanking and the solid thump of their boots against the ground painfully loud, they still had yet to meet aother Jackals, though there were plenty of signs of torture and heretical practice. Icons that made one's stomach churn were scattered throughout the complex, occiasionally with a long-dead unfortunate chained to it. Avare's hatred for the gangers grew to a white hot heat.
Slavro, on point with Furn, stopped suddenly before an entryway into a chamber. He raised his palm upwards, signalling a halt. Ahead, the sounds of battle echoed. Human shouts, orders maybe or exclamations of surprise, coupled with gunshots, but swiftly devolved into screams of terror and pain. The sounds got closer, and suddenly a Jackal came speeding out of the darkness of one of the side tunnels, weaponless as he ran like the warp itself was behind him. Upon seeing the conglomeration of Imperial Agents in the chamber he skidded to a halt, gabbling madly as his eyes darted around for some, any, escape. A fatal mistake.
Before anyone in the chamber could open fire, much of the ganger's upper torso exploded in a messy fountain of gore. He collasped to the ground, very much dead. Behind his corpse, silently stepping out from the gloom a hulking figure emerged. His armour, the parts that weren't caked in blood, bore the signs of serious fighting.
"The chamber is back this way, Interrogator." Brother Aygapus intoned politely. Avare couldn't be sure, but the Astartes may have given a hint of the devil's grin as he spoke.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Darkness. Blackness. Emptiness.
Dark. The chamber was dark, the vault the thing rested in had been sealed off from the main sacrificial chamber for weeks. Months. Years? It wasn't sure. It didn't know.
It didn't care.
It had slept too long. Its injuries had long since healed. But soon the wait would be over. Immesne chains and failsafes clanked as, one by one, the restrictions on the vaults doors, the barricades, the locks on the ceramite doors were removed.
In the darkness, the blackness, the emptiness. Something stirred.
((OCC, to make it clear, Brother Aygapus is now with us. Wilson and Ronan are free to attempt to regroup with the rest of us if they wish, as we shall soon be storming the main sacrificial chamber. Expect heavy resistance. Major clue for identity of the thing in the vualt, it's not a Daemon, though the gangers may be forgiven for mistaking it for one.))

Character: Brother Aygapus
Location: Gangers hide out.
Situation: Regrouping with Avare.
Aygapus realized he was probably grinning maniacally. This was to be expected, he supposed-fighting alone and wounded against such foul creatures would take a toll on anyone’s sanity, even a mind that was as strong as an Adeptus Astartes’. Besides, The Minotaurs had always been a fairly ‘liberal’ chapter anyway when it came to their mental discipline. Not that they were anything less than formidable, of course.
In truth he was glad to see the Interrogator again. He was not afraid to die, far from it, but being pulled down in a warp tainted cavern by hordes of the worst dregs of the galaxy was not the glorious end he’d imagined. He was injured, fair enough, but already he could feel his superhuman body healing itself, clotting bleeding and working to cover any particularly vicious lacerations with scar tissue.
Speaking of being wounded…where was Wilson? Or Ronan, for that matter? Aygapus had assumed that they’d moved to regroup with the rest of the task force, or at the very least had been making their ways back up through the chambers. A small flicker of doubt crossed Aygapus’ mind; he should have at least met them whilst travelling through the tunnels if they had not returned to the rest of the team yet. What if they were seriously injured, or worse? Interrogator or not, he was not about to leave his kin, or the mortal for that matter, alone to the predations of Chaos.
He quelled this thought. You are just paranoid of losing another brother, Aygapus, that is all. Control yourself man, the war was a long time ago now. What’s done is done.
“Interrogator, I stand ready to storm the chamber at your command. However, with your discretion I would like leave to consult the Tech-priest to see if he could reconsecrate my armour and weapons. Contact with such heretical scum cannot be good for their spirits. Oh, and I will require more ammunition.” He motioned to the remains of the ganger. “That was my last round.”

Character: Brother Ronan
Location: In the Hideouts Supply Depot
Situation: Making a bigger bang with Wilson
Ronan turned the device over in his hand, smiling slightly as he recognized the marking of a meltabomb. “This will be ideal” He shouted up to Wilson above him. As he stood up, dust fell from his armour followed by the tiny chippings falling and then trickling down the pile of rubble he was standing on. He had received no word back from his comm., presumably the walls were too thick and him too deep for his signal to be received by anyone other than Wilson who was having equal difficulty in raising anyone.
He walked down the pile, chunks of debris snapping under his weight as he stood before the array of containers and boxes of various substances. Picking up several of the larger chemical containers he moved them over to each corner of the room against the support beams, packing several boxes of the primitive explosives that were supposedly used as explosive weapons like grenades or a means of blasting out the tunnels. For now these explosives would serve a new purpose.
He set the meltabomb against the far wall, the adhesive back sticking itself to the container while he primed the device, the detonator being with Wilson. Ronan then climbed out the pit using the few footholds that remained, Wilson peered into the hole, trying to offer his hand to help which was ignored by the Astartes as he hauled himself up out of the hole.
“If that cylinder caused an entire floor to cave in, just imagine what my Meltabomb will do” Wilson chuckled from behind his mask as he toyfully showed the Astartes the detonator switch. He was right of course, the blast that the meltabomb would set off would be enough to collapse well over half of the underground complex if not all of it seeing how unstable the tunnels were, only the more better supported chambers would possibly survive.
At that notion Ronan began to walk in the direction of the Observation Post “That is indeed a good plan, we must get out of the blast area as the shock wave will undoubtly bring several buildings on this level to its knee’s as well as the tunnels below” Ronan said as they half ran half walked back to the observation post and through the door into the outside. Upon exiting the hideout Ronan reached up and activated his comm unit, confident that Mikal nearby would be able to pick up the signal.
“Mikal, this is Ronan, Wilson and I have set up bomb capable of leveling the majority of the upper and lower levels of the gangs hideout. If we can get confirmation that the manservant has been extracted then we can detonate safely and cover the Teams escape by killing those that are following them, Over” He lowered his hand and turned to Wilson who was following, detonator in his hand. Ronan almost wished he had given Wilson the order to detonate anyway, it would solve most of his problems and allow him to return to his Chapter. However Ronan’s orders were clear and he would not disobey his Chapter Master’s orders. “Some other time, Avare” he muttered silently under his breath before continuing to the Observation Post.

Character: Mikal
Location: Observation Post control room
Situation: Monitoring extraction and fulfilling support role.
Mikal had already called the Sanctum's Pride and the stormtroopers were on their way. He had also received a message from Brother Ronan about him and Wilson heading back towards the observation post.
"Be advised, Brother Ronan, Avare and the rest of the task force have already breached the underground area of the cultists' base and are currently extracting the manservant--" He was cut off here by an alarm within his system that told him of something approaching the hideout.
"Standby." He said into his vox as he went to go investigate.
"Mikal, Kelly, are you two seeing this?" Gaz called from the roof. "We've got company."
As Gaz said this, Mikal focused his enhanced sight out one of the windows down to the streets below, in a courtyard a few hundred yards away, transports were dropping off armored figures who were advancing on the observation post slowly, as if they expected resistance. Mikal locked onto the figures vox frequency and listened in for a moment.
"All units are cleared for extermination procedures." A commanding voice said across the net. "I repeat, if it breathes, kill it."
That was enough as far as Mikal was concerned, he checked his turrets and told Kelly and Gaz of the situation.
"The arbites are here, all Task force Fury members be advised, they have come, whether for good or ill, to disrupt our duty to the Emperor." He said in a cold hard steel tone. "Show them no mercy, for you shall receive none. May the Omnissiah be with us all today." Mikal said as he drew his plasma pistol and firmly grasped his servo axe. He sent one last message to Ronan and Wilson as the arbites advanced into the range of Gaz's sniper rifle and the first shots were fired.
"Be advised, Ronan, you are headed into another firefight."
Mikal said as he raised his pistol and expertly fired into the figures, hitting one and vaporizing his top half, causing the others to duck.

a huge piece of shrapnel from the transport. He just keeled over trying to find his radio with his left hand shaking like mad.
"Mikal small problem."
"This is not the time Trooper Gaz."

Character: Brother Aygapus
Location: Under Jackal’s stronghold with Avare.
Situation: Talking with Rally Jager
“My thanks, Arbirator. Rest assured I shall put it to good use in the Emperor’s name.”
Aygapus turned his back on the Arbite as they both moved to different points of cover within the cavern. As he walked, a thought crossed his mind, and he turned back to the girl slowly.
“As I understand you have been forced to slay those who should be your fellows. Trust me when I say I know the confusion you must currently be experiencing. I too have been forced to kill my brothers whom have turned from the path of righteousness…as you probably already know.” Rally said nothing, expression hard as stone. Aygapus wondered if he should cease, but decided to press on.
“Understand that by turning against His divine will these traitors forfeit any right they may have had to mercy. Whatever they once were is of no consequence-they turned their back on our Emperor and thus they were no better than the Green-skinned savages. You were right to act with the fire that you did, child.”
Aygapus said nothing more, turning back down the corridor. Rally maintained her silence but out of the corner of his eye, Aygapus though he saw her give a small nod. He accepted that the Arbiter did not entirely trust the Marine-very few people who actually met them did, and his rampage had not helped matters-but at the very least perhaps she looked upon him in a new light. If nothing else, it was a start.

Character: Brother Ronan
Location: Nearing the observation Point
Situation: Engaging Arbiters
Ronan nodded to himself as Mikal gave the warning through the comm, followed by the sounds of gunfire as the team inside the building engaged the Arbiters. They had the advantage over Team Fallen in terms of numbers several times over so he would need to be more tactful in his approach, these were not everyday run of the mill gangers, these soldiers were very well trained.
Ronan bounded up against a car, looking back quickly to see where Wilson was but couldn't see him. Presuming he had either got into cover himself or was further behind him, Ronan raised his voice and shouted "In the Emperor's name! Your heresy shall not faulter our path!"
With that said he raised his boltgun, resting it over the top to make best use of the cover before firing round after round of well aimed bolts at the Arbiters who took cover, most of them escaping the divine weapon of the Astartes while a few unlucky ones fell to the floor, their fine armour unable to withstand the power from such a potent weapon.
As he watched several others being shot at by the team inside the building a large group took position to attack the Astartes. His diversion had worked, he knew Gaz was a keen sniper and Mikal had access to some potent weaponry, by diverting the Arbiters attention slightly it would dilute their concentrated firepower and thus allow his team mates a better chance to take out the Arbiters.
One of the Arbiters jumped out of cover, rolling towards a nearby car. With deftly accuracy Ronan put a bolt into his soldier. The Soldier was momentarily displaced by the power of the shot, his shoulder spewing blood from the wound as he managed to limp behind the car, his armour absorbing most of the impact. Another Arbiter wasn't so lucky as Ronan got a side shot which severed his left leg from his torso.
He ducked down behind the car as the Arbiters plastered it shots, forcing him to keep his head down as many of the shots ripped through the weak metal of the car with some plinking of his armour. Over the noise he heard one of them shout "Frag out!" followed by a clunking sound against the car. He instantly realised the situation as the frag which had clamped itself to the car bleeped twice before exploding, blasting the car into piece and flung Ronan along with the blast.
He landed on his front several metres away from the wreckage, lifting his head up he saw the Arbiters advancing into a better position. His face ached and his stomach was numb. As he slowly went to stand he realised his stomach had been ripped open and although his body was already sealing the wound he was losing a large amount of blood. The impact to his face was throwing his concentration as he reached out for his boltgun, firing several shots as he wheezed and limped to the side to get out of the line of fire.

Character: Mikal
Location: Observation Post
Situation: Securing area
Mikal had already vacated the control room, the arbiters were approaching fast and anything within their sights were being shot with autoguns and shotgun rounds. They had advanced within range of Mikal's emplaced stubbers which were now chattering with fire. Mikal found where jelly had set up his heavy weapon and was busy laying down fire at the arbiters.
"Trooper Kelly, continue pinning them, I must go check on Trooper Gaz." Mikal said and left the room before Kelly could respond. Mikal made his way up to the roof where Gaz was.
He found the sniper slumped against a wall, holding his shoulder and wincing. Mikal had grabbed an aid kit as he came up to the roof and approached Gaz.
"Do not worry, trooper, I have uploaded medical protocols, allow me to help." He said and went to pulling the shrapnel out of Gaz's shoulder with deft mechanical and flesh hands. Soon the wound was cleaned and dressed and the bleeding had stopped.
"I have done all I can, the wound is not serious, you must continue to carry out your duty until we are relieved but I suggest you move to a different location." Mikal said in a flat, efficient tone. Gaz nodded and as Mikal turned away, he called back to him.
"Hey, was all that true, about the medical protocols?" Gaz asked confusedly, Mikal looked back at him with an expression that matched his monotone.
"No, that was a fabrication for your benefit, it would be unfortunate for your to panic as I was working." Mikal said and then disappeared, leaving Gaz a little confused.
Mikal made his way down and beyond the continuous fire, He heard a voice which he recognized as Ronan's shouting somewhere near the outpost, his declarations were followed by an explosion and then an urgent vox from Wilson that Ronan was down.
"Stay where you are, I am coming to assist you." Mikal said as he walked toward the exit. Above him, one of his sentry guns was spraying fire at the arbiters which had pinned Wilson and Ronan but that wasn't enough to dissuade them. Mikal stepped out into the open and was forced to immediately seek cover as bullets whizzed about him. In one fluid movement from behind a parked vehicle, he raised and put a plasma bolt into the gas tank of another vehicle which the arbiters were hiding, igniting the fuel and causing the vehicle to explode brilliantly throwing the arbiters back. and killing a couple.
Mikal used the moment to move forwards towards Wilson and Ronan but the fire quickly picked back up and he was hit twice, his exoskeleton taking the first blow and backpack taking the next one. Despite this, he continued on until he was several yards from Ronan's position. He watched as a team of arbiters rushed the two, it seemed Ronan had been hit and was now prostrate on the ground and the arbiters were moving in to finish him off. Mikal headed them off and as they were set on getting to the space marine, he came in with his servo axe, slicing into one arbites and felling him. another turned to him, surprised to see Mikal and his bloody axe standing behind him, that arbiter was felled by a shot from Ronan. The third had already opened fire on Mikal with his shotgun, the round blew Mikal's mechanical arm off about six inches below the elbow. It was then that Wilson emerged and sprayed the man with his flamer, sending him screaming and stumbling about. Mikal grunted as he bent down and retrieved his pistol from his fallen arm and holstered it. He nodded to Wilson and Ronan.
"We must get inside before we are surrounded. Trooper Wilson, would you be so kind as to cover me as I assist Brother Ronan inside?" Mikal asked as if the firefight was nothing more than a chore. Mikal went to go help Ronan to his feet and the two began limping towards the building's door, all the while Wilson was sending brooms of fire towards the arbites, hitting a few with it. Between the three men's fire and the continuous fire from the emplacement upstairs, the arbiters were forced back and away and the three men got inside quickly where Mikal deposited Ronan and handed Wilson the aid kit.
"Do what you can for him and yourself, I must go urge the stormtroopers from the Pride to hasten their response." Mikal said and went back up to the control room where he put his severed arm on the table, he would fix it later, right now, he had to contact the reinforcements.
"Mikal to the Sanctum's Pride, do you read me?" there was a moment of static and then an answer.
"Our situation is critical, what is the status of our reinforcement?" Mikal asked, he received a response that it was still nearly and hour away. Mikal became angry at this point.
"We will not be here for you to help in an hour! Those men should be here now, I am sure that Inquisitor Reemus would not be happy to know that his star pupil had been killed because the men under his command did not come to her aid when she needed it!" Mikal barked. He then received a response that indicated that the reinforcements would be there sooner, he cut the link and as he was returning to the fight, a loud explosion along with a cry of pain could be heard from just outside.
"What was that?" Kelly asked.
"The minefields have been breached, our enemies are closing in." Mikal said solemnly.

Character: Avare
Location: Underground, outside the sacrificial chamber
Situation: Storming the chamber
Avare wasn't sure Brother Agypus had been wise in mentioning the corrupt Arbites to Proctor Jager. Avare wasn't ignorant of the Badab War, nor the role the Minotaurs played in it. Killing your former comrades wasn't done lightly, and it was an unspoken taboo to talk of it. Avare was sure Brother Agypus wouldn't have taken kindly to similar advice towards him. Then again, so far Agypus hadn't exactly been...lucid. As if reading her thoughts, the towering Astartes came to a stop and turned to face her. His glance tore Avare from her stray thoughts, and she silently berated herself for her lack of focus. Gesturing with a massive shrug of his shoulder, Agypus pointed out a rockcrete doorway. "There are several tunnels converging on this position, and there are signs of heavy traffic. I believe this is the way to the sacrificial chamber."
Avare nodded to Slavro, who retrieved a demo-charge from the Stormtrooper Adiel and went about placing it on the door. Letting the sergeant work, Avare addressed the other members of the retinue, trying to carry authority in her voice without speaking too loudly. "The sacrificial chamber is ahead. You've all seen the picts that Engineseer Holtz provided, most of the room is taken up by a pit devoted to their thrice-damned heathen gods. On the far side is an altar, my guess is that's where they'll concentrate their defence. Rally, Brother Agypus, Sister Lucia, Trooper Furn and Trooper Adiel will provide covering fire from this side of the pit, while also keeping a watch for any straggling Jackals behind us. Slavro, Ghast and Khan circumvent the pit and advance on the right. Claudius, Zeta and I will take the left. Is that clear?" A murmur of assent and a slight shuffling as the team took their positions answered her in the dimly lit cavern.
"Interrogator, the demo-charge is ready." Slavro said as he quickly backed away from the rockcrete door.
"Good. Let's secure this objective already and get the hell out of this stinking gak of a hive. Blow it. " Avare snapped.
"CLEAR!" Slavro shouted, the retinue echoing him so that their mouth was open when the explosion sounded. In these close quarters, the noise could defean them if they didn't take such precautions. The demo-charge blew the door inwards, the remains of the rockcrete either collapsing into the pit, or sending out a deadly spray of shrapnel. The time for subtlety over, the inquisitorial agents roared, though it was impossible to tell whether each person shouted a personal battlecry or if they just made any sort of noise, as they stormed the chamber. Brother Agypus was shouting again, though Avare couldn't hear what it was about. Their attack brought several of the cultists down, killing or wounding three Jackals before the rest could dive for cover.
Although Avare couldn't know it, the efforts of Team Fallen, combined with the arrival of the pursuing Arbites, had broken the Jackals. Though fierce fighters in their own right, when one compared them to competing gangs in the underhive, as gangers they had a decent sense of self-preservation. Seeing half their hideout put to the torch, losing scores of their own to mysterious attackers and finally having the dreaded wrath of the arbites fall upon them (seeing as they could not know the real reason for their arrival) the majority of the Crimson Jackals had wisely fled. Though no one on Team Fury particularily cared, after the attack the Crimson Jackals never recovered and their vast territory was divided up between the many other cartels. While the underhive would remain as lawless and deadly as ever, the Crimson Jackals were finished.
The gangers that had stayed to defend the sacrificial chamber were different. Out of anger, idiocy, bloodthirstiness or sheer insanity most of the more veteran members had chosen to make a stand, a somewhat novel notion in the underhive. They were vicious, they were experienced and what's more they were trapped, and fought like only cornered vermin can. The returning fusiliade was furious, forcing the retinue to momentarily duck for any cover. Where they got the plasma gun Avare would never know, it was simply impossible for mere gangers to sport that kind of technology. The bald-headed cultists wielding it fired the deadly weapon quickly before ducking back behind the altar. Trooper Adiel was hit head-on, his upper torso utterly incerated by the concentrated blast of energy.
"Oh gak!" Avare yelped as she hit the dirt, she'd been standing two paces away from the unfortunate stormtrooper and felt the strong wave of heat.
---------------------------------------------------------
Outside. There were noises. Dulled by the thick doors that seperated it from the chamber, but its sharp hearing could make out the noises all the same. Shouts, an explosion, gunshots, the wet sounds of impacts on flesh, followed by the screaming from the wounded or silence as the body hit the ground. It was...beautiful.
The thing stirred, standing upright in the chamber for the first time in too many years to keep track of. Although the chamber was easily three meters high, it was still too confined to be comfortable. But it mattered little. Outside awaited. War. Death. Battle. Blood...

Character: Aajz
Location: Underground, outside the sacrificial chamber
Situation: Scanning location
"Lady Av-" the vox crackled but the sound it produced was drowned out by the din of battle overhead. Bursts of plasma fire ignited and scorched the rockrete the team had taken cover against. Although the torrent of fire was heavy, it was largely inaccurate with solid rounds ricocheting of the walls of the tunnels. The fierce resistance couldn't last, they would run out of ammunition soon.
What was worrying Aajz was the auspex reading. There was a very large bio-signature resonating nearby, although the auspex reading was blocked by the ferrocrete used to construct the foundation of the underhive. Despite this, Aajz could try to guess what was nearby, firstly it was too big to be human or even an abhuman. Secondly, the planetary report showed that there was no native alien life still in existance that could reach such a huge size, which narrowed it down. Was it a xenos? Her time serving with the Ordo Xenos had her study numerous large and dangerous xenos creatures, although she had not encountered them herself. Was it a burrowing Tyranid? They had a reputation of introducing large vanguard organisms, however, they tended to be incredibly covert and this creature was not trying to even disguise it's biosignature. Plus there had been no reports of any genestealer cults or mysterious monstrosities stalking the underhive which is the usual basis for Tyranid creatures.
What was incredibly odd was that the biosignature phased in and out of existance, it was puzzling, and very difficult to determine if it was the signal interference or if it meant that the creature was something far more sinister.
The noise had lessened as the gangers reduced their rate of fire as the ammunition began to dry up. "Lady Avare, I am getting mixed readings of a large creature in the near vicinity we-"
There was an explosion, the cultist wielding the plasma gun had overheated and the gun had exploded, searing the lock on the chamber door.
There was silence. Then a dull thud against the door. And another, until slowly the door creaked open.

(( OOC Awesome Snarky, thanks for noticing the looming threat without giving the game away. I'll introduce it in this post, and I shouldn't have to point out that killing it will be very difficult. ))
Character: Avare
Location: Left side of the Sacrificial pit
Situation: Going from Bad to Worse
The remaining Jackals fired sporadically now, trying to conserve their ammo. The inquistorial team was making good progress; Avare, Claudius and the Callidus had managed to get halfway around the pit to the left while Soric, Ghast and Khan were making progress on the right.
Avare was momentarily distracted by Sister Lucia calling after her. Turning to listen, she let Zeta and Claudius continue to advance. "Lady Avare, I am getting mixed readings of a large creature in the near vicinity we-"
Before she could continue Avare saw the plasma-wielding cultist grin wildly at her. There was no cover here, and Avare was sure this would be her last moments as the cultist fired. Luckily, the Emperors Benediction smiled upon her, and the poorly-maintained plasma gun exploded in a brilliant flash of light, obliterating the cultist, two of his compatriots and searing some sort of lock to a vault just behind the altar in the process. Avare was still counting her blessings to the most merciful God-Emperor when the doors creaked open.
The thing stepped out from the darkness of the vault. One would be hard pressed to call it a man, even if one applied the loosest sense of the term that included Astartes. It was a mockery, a jeering slap in the face to what noble Astartes should hold themselves to be. As Avare stood in stunned silence, she couldn't tell what it's armour was. It had the appearence of power armour but it...moved, as if the painted deamonic faces that coated it were actually screaming and moving in either agony or impatience. It's helmet was a faceless visage, reminiscent of the warriors found on a feudal world Avare had once encountered. But the warriors there had been human, and never so intimidating or ful of malice as this creature. A bolt pistol was holstered at its side, but Avare's eyes were drawn to the chainsword it held in a vice-like grip, the weapon showed several layers of dried blood but the obvious lack of care and maintenance only made it appear more deadly. On it's left pauldron Avare could see the runic symbol of Khorne, the Chaos God of War and Blood, and on its right pauldron there was an icon of fangs sinking into a planet. Avare had seen that once before, in Remus' grimoire of Traitor Legions. With a rising dread, she realised what stood before them. A Khorne Berserker of the World Eaters.
One of the surviving gangers cheered, raising a fist he shouted "Khorne is with u-" The chainsword bit deep into the unfortunate Jackals skull before he could finish. The chainsword had been inactive, but with a whir of motion and noise it kicked into action, spraying the blood and brain matter of the ganger in a fountain of gore. The Callidus Assassin, Zeta, was the first to snap out of shock, springing towards the most obvious threat in the room in a few bounding leaps. Turning slowly, the Khorne beserker showed no emotion as the Imperial Assassin leaped into the air, bringing the C'tan phase sword slashing down diagnolly in a lightning fast motion that would have killed any other man. The Beserker was faster that he looked though, and took a single step back. The blow still struck, the sword slicing through the chest armour like artificial-butter, but only scored a glancing blow and didn't wound the beserker himself.
It was the last mistake the Imperial Assassin would ever make. Back exposed, Zeta could do nothing when the beserker retaliated, bringing the whirring chainsword slashing down. Zeta tried to writhe out of the way, but all that afforded was that the clean blow to the neck was missed. Instead, the chainsword bit deep into the shoulder, the Assassin's lifeblood sprayed up into the air as the chainsword went further. In two seconds, the chainsword had cut through the sternum, Zeta was limp and dead, but the beserker continued to hack at his sorry corpse until iit went through the other side around the hip area. Zeta, silent effienct Zeta, lay in two parts before the maddened Beserker.
"Oh Throne." Avare swore, disbelieving. Oh Throne, no.
---------------------------------------------------
Blood! After decades the blood was flowing again. At his feet the corpes of the Emperor's lackey lay in ruins, never to rise again. The assassins blood seeped into the dirt. Kraat, the thing remember his name now, breathed the it in. Glorious. But not enough. Never enough.
Turning his gaze to the other weaklings, still in shock at his victory, he crowed as he stomped forward. "Enemies...we need more enemies."

Subject: Wilson
Location: OP
Status: Performing Fist Aid/ Defending OP
Wilson tore open the First aid kit, feverishly trying to remember what little first aid he had been taught and wondering how the hell he was supposed to ally it to a Space Marine, he dimly remember rumors that they had redundant organs, he settled on covering up the worst holes.
but the wounds where scabbing over almost as he watched, forming a tough layer over the injury. "Sacred throne." he whispered, tying off the bandages and shaking loose a pair of pain-killer tablets for himself before lifting his flamer back up to the ready position and returning to the defense of the outpost.
The Arbites were inside the building, but advancing slowly, having lost a number of their force to Wilson's traps, but several had formed a shield wall, those in the second rank holding their shields up to deflect thrown grenades, they were just emerging from the stairs when wilson rejoined the defense line, and hosed them down with his flamer. Only their supply room and the corridor remained under their control. Gaps appeared in the Arbite wall as the burning promethium claimed them and Mikal quickly took advantage of the weakness to atomize another through the opening with his pistol before they could drop their guard. but still they came on.

Character: Khan Location: Right side of the Sacrificial pit Situation: Death or Glory Khan studied the terrible behemoth of dark sciences that stood before them. An avatar of Khorne, in perhaps one of the most horrifying ways perceivable - this foe was wretchedly living proof that even the greatest of humanity was not infallible, not incorruptible. Every single one of them had the capacity to be turned into something vile and horrific, such as the servant of the blood god that they now faced; whether through greed, pride, ambition, desperation, anger, pleasure, desire or anything else. Even he was merely just another man, albeit hardened against such heresy. It was a humbling truth, one that must be accepted lest you fall from grace out of ignorance and pride. He snapped out of his musings, already changing his Lasgun to single-shot mode and setting it to full-power. This little rugged beauty could now punch through carapace armour, hell it would even blast through Power armor if given long enough. He'd fought such vile and vicious warriors before, with the same trusty rifle that he held now. He took aim as Soric let loose with a frag, killing or sending the rest of the gangers into cover. The high-powered laser beams impacted into the chest-plate of the Khorne Berzerker, searing the ancient ceramite and leaving steaming burn-marks. He quickly ducked back into cover as the fallen Astartes returned fire with an archaic Bolt pistol. The rest of the team had also opened fire, .75 calibre Bolt rounds and laser beams flying about the room. A large chunk of the upturned table he was hiding behind exploded as a Bolt round detonated upon impacting it. He cursed as the cheap wood grazed his left arm. If I can get behind him, Khan thought, a plan formulating in his mind. "Soric! Cover me, I'm going to try and get him from the back!" He called to the nearby Stormtrooper, who nodded and began firing. Khan looked up in horror as the World Eaters Marine began charging Avare and those around her, heedless of the semi-automatic over-charged laser fire filling the air around him. Khan ran as fast as he could, crouched, to where Zeta's corpse lay a bloody ruin. He grimaced at the sight, but nonetheless knew what he must do. He eschewed his Lasrifle, discarding it reverently nearby, in favor of Zeta's Phase sword, which glowed ominously. He also drew his own blade from its sheath on his back, the master-crafted psychic sword crackling to life. He fixed his gaze on the back of the traitor astartes, and advanced carefully, blades raised. As he did, he began summoning his great and terrible powers once more; he felt it build up inside him, as he neared the Khorne warrior he prepared to channel his full might into his force sword, his eyes filled with ethereal power, like a raging warp storm.

Glorious, Dark. Just glorious. BIC: Character: Soric Location: right side of the sacraficial pit. Situation: Covering Khan Soric did as he was asked, and sprayed the beast with high powered las beams that were able to punch through power armour, if luck was on his side. He had taken some care of his shoulder, several aid items lay scattered around him. With the aid of pain-killers, he was able to use hisl eft arm again. Though it was still seeping blood, for he had no time to apply synth-skin, he kept up his fire. To his horror he saw the beast turning to face Avare's team. He tried to draw the attention away from them, by firing concentrated fire on the Traitor Astartes, he didn't care about the cultists anymore. Soric saw Khan powering up to use his Magiks again. He felt his skin crawling, and his neck hair standing up straight. Blinking his eyes, he kept his mind on the task ahead. He switched to single shot, and he aimed at a weak spot in the Traitor's armor. The beast was still turned away from him, and Soric punched a clean hole through the massive monster's leg armour. The Khornate Champion slowed his advance on Avare and the others, and seemed to be limping on his left leg. Soric felt relieved he was able to do some good,he had scored a wounding hit against the 3 meters high behemoth, giving Avare a chance to get clear and Khan to work up his Magiks. Soric was not content with only one wound though, and he still kept up his fire. By now, slug rounds and other las beams were kicking up the dust around him and punching holes in his cover, but Soric ignored it all. He kept letting of vicious shot after vicious shot. One beam managed to punch though the thing's backpack, and steam hissed out as in response. By now, the Khornate Champion turned his attention away from Avare, and turned towards the one who so unritiualisticly damaging his revered armour. The Champion raised his bolt pistol, and Soric quickly dashed away, leaving a blasted piece of cover behind as the bolt shell obliterated his cover. Having been forced out of his cover, he dove carelesly behind the next piece of cover, but to his surpise he was sharing it with someone else. Looking up, he saw the toothy grin of a large cultists murderously gazing at Soric. Soric slammed the but of his rifle in the brute's face, but it only reeled back, and spat out a couple of shattered teeth. The brute sported a vicious knife, used to gut animals with. Soric quickly drew his machete which was kept at his shin, and he quickly fended of the brute's knife swing which would otherwise gut him outright. Both of them were on their knees covering from enemy incoming fire, but they heedlessly fought on. Soric scored a wounding hit on the brute's shoulder and blood squirted on the two's faces. His guard down, the brute stuck his knife in Soric's unguarded right side. Soric gazed at the knife and the hand still holding it. He forced himself to fight on, and deftly cut off the offender's hand. The hand still cluthed the knife in Soric's side, and the brute unbelievingly watched as more blood squirted out of the stump where once his hand was. Yet the large man also refused to just lay down and die. A large cut in his shoulder and his hand gone, the brute punched Soric in the stomach twice, and Soric felt his world turning inside out. He gaged as the brute hit him another time, but Soric lashed out in response, burrying the machete in the brute's stomach, and pulling it upwards, effectivly gutting the cultist. The brute squeeled, and more blood gulched out.By now, Soric was now covered in stinking blood. Soric tried to take out his machete, but it was stuck hard. "Why won't you just die!" he yelled, upon which the heretic spat a goblet of spit in Soric's face. Soric let go of the machete in the cultists's gutted belly, and put his hands around the brute's neck. He forced all his might into suffocating the large cultists, and the brute's face quickly turned pale. Soric used his last strength left in his arms, and the cultist let out a last sigh, and Soric felt the brute's strength ebbing away. In the end, Soric was suffocating an already dead man. He let go of the corpse, and realised the gutting knife was still stuck in his side. He pulled himself upright, and sat against an pile of stacked crates. He pulled the knife out in one go, blood following it's way out. Soric was bleeding from various wounds, and it felt like his somach just exploded inwards by the brute's vicious stomping. He looked over his cover and wondered what he could do to help his brothers in arms. (EDIT: Various typos)

Actually, that's a good idea. Not what you said, you're miserable and useless. But what I'm about to say. Yes, indeed.
You should go save the manservant in some heroic and awesome way, as you do, then we can both mock everyone else for being useless. Then I can kill you for being a heretic, get the manservant to safety, a whole further 1cm away from where he was previously standing, claim glory for killing your heretic ass and for saving the manservant from your dead heretic ass.
Then I'll decree the Emperor a heretic and sh*t will really hit the fan..

Situation: OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD
"Gak!" rally proclaimed rolling away from a grenade from the gangers.
She looked over to the others as they fought against the traitor marine.
*A bad mistake... focusing on the brute while their remains gangers scattered around.*
She thought hitting a blood crazed ganger with her maul then delivering a kick to his gut sending him into a fire pit
A few shots hit around her, one nicking her shoulder.
"Frak! If you want to play that way... Fine by me." She said raising her plasma pistol at the two gangers and opening fire.
One shot caught one mid gut vaporizing his chest, the other took the shot to the head, killing them both.
The gun started to heat up in her hands.

I too, am dissapointed to say I can't roleplay starting from tomorrow, until the 21st of august. First I'll be leaving to the coast with my parents for a couple days, then I am staying with some friends at another part of the coast, then I'm leaving for Pukkelpop (BOOYAH, I'll be seeing Rise Against, the offspring, Foo Fighters and many more Live!) So can EF please take care of my character untill I'm back? @Darko: Any unnecessary touching of my character will be noted and reprimanded in due time.

Well you have fun with that good sir.
But the way it's going, we might as well call a halt to the game.. Just as things were picking up!
Well, it's EF's call, I want to carry on, seeing as we still have a majority of the players left to carry the game.

Regardless, I'm still going to wait for EF to chime in before I go killing off that Marine.
Although I'd do it in a suitably painful fashion for all those concerned.. can't be a hero without getting a wound now can we?

Meh,gonna do it anyway. BIC: Character: Soric Location: Sacraficial chamber Situation: gravely wounded. Gunshot wound to the shoulder and a stabwound in his right side. Looking from over his cover, he saw the Khornate Champion limping towards Khan, who was working up his Magiks. He felt his skin crawl again, the sentation of the fight with the brutish cultist had forced his mind to concentrate at the fight at hand. Now, he felt the rush of cold air again, the spark of Wizardry. Soric despised wizards, back on Ousia the Ousians used to burn wizards and witches on huge pyres. In some views, Ousia was still a backwater and medieval planet, though with the technological benefits of Imperial Rule. He cast his gaze away from the wizard working his Magiks, and wondered where Slavro was. He eventually spotted him behind another piece of cover, reloading his pistol and getting up to fire at the Khornate Legionairy. Most of the cultists were either dead or dying, or frantically trying to get away from this charnel room. They were only a dozen odd remaining cultists in the room. The majority of the slaves were cowering away from the gunfire. Some cultists killed their capures with gutting knives, no doubt trying to gain more favor from their false God. Fools. He wished the manservant was still safe, lest their actions and sacrafices were of no value. He ducked back behind his cover, as small fragments erupted as a slug round hit the wall close to him. The pain, that relentless feeling of pain. He opened his first aid kit again, and swallowed another two pain killers. Under an unseizing fire from the enemy, Soric attempted to seel off the wound in his side. That wound would likely kill him sooner then his shoulder wound. He could already feel his lifeblood seeping away from him. He got out a piece of synth-skin with shaking hands, and applied it after he had ripped his tunic appart to make room to for his hands to reach in. He could alreay feel the pain killers working, anf felt the pain ebbing away. Either that, or the blood loss had been to great and he was just dying. After having applied the synth-skin, he tried removing his wrecked shoulder plate, but it hurt too much. The round had not only punched a hole in his shoulder plate, but the armour exploded inwards. The sides of the hole had punched inwards, right into his flesh. trying to remove it himself was to rip most of his shoulder away as well. He stopped taking care of himself, it was hopeless. He managed to rip out his machete from the dead brute's belly. he gripped his Hellgun, holding it as tightly as a man shot though the shoulder could. He remembered Ousia once more, a place he would never come back to again. The Imperium's bureaucracy had him captured in an endless wave of violence and death. Death would be his only release. There was no way he could be able to break free from this Inquisitorial grasp. He uttered a small prayer to Saint Myria, the patron saint of Ousia. Soric lifted his Hell gun, and got up, releasing bright blue las in the Traitor Marine's dirrection. Another two holes were punched through the ancient power armor of the Marine. Something seeped through the puncure holes. Soric settled that for blood, but it didn't look like human blood. True, this marine was a demi-god once, or a son of one at least. The bleeding stopped a couple of seconds after, the marine's enhanced biological features sure were a wonder of the Imperium. Stormtrooper Ghast quickly ducked back behind cover. He had sucessfull drawn attention from several cultists. Slavro gunned two of them down as they got their heads over their cover to get some shots off at Soric. These Cultists were terrible bad shots, and all of the shots fired at Soric missed their target. "Slavro, cover me!" Soric yelled, and Slavro once again fires shots at the cultists, and Soric took this opportunity to move up to the next piece of cover. He ducked behind it, dodging bullets and lasbeams. From where he was, he had a perfect shot at another cultist. He aimed and pulled the trigger. The cultist flopped sideways, his exposed side punched through by high powered las. He got down behind the cover, and saw a cultist holding his knife over a weeping women. The woman made no attemt to protect herself, obviously she had taken peace with her death. Soric brought up his rifle, and took the head off the knife-swinging cultist. The woman seemed tp praise the Emperor for her survival. Or at least, Soric hoped it was the Emperor she was thanking...

Apologies on the delay, writers block and all that mixed with crappy RL
Character: Brother Ronan
Location: Just inside the Observation Post Door
Situation: Wounded
Although he was too proud to admit it, Mikal and the wounded Wilson had just saved his life. Few words were spoken as Mikal limped Ronan inside the building before returning to his post, such men had little use for words as they understood the tomes of battle.
Wilson crouched painfully with the medkit in his hand, fumbling for the various devices needed to help stave off death from the wounds suffered. The loud din of battle outside seemed to increase in volumn, the deathening sounds of heavy stubber fire from the implacements, the shouts and screams from Arbiters falling and louds bangs from the grenades being used in their attempts to gain entry to the building.
Ronan's face still felt hot from the blow he had taken, the wound in his stomach still hampering him as the wound finally clotted enough for him to gain his movement. In a swift movement he raised himself up straight, clenching his boltgun and a face filled with rage and hatred he strode back to the door. If it weren't for the blood soaked armour you could be forgiven for thinking that he had not even been wounded as he came to the door, leaving Wilson to tend to his own wounds lest he finally sucumb to his injuries.
His face clenched in anger as he booted the door clean off its hinges, Boltgun in right hand, blade in the left as the door smacked a Arbiter straight in the chest, throwing him to the ground, the broken door laying on top of him as he tried to regain his senses. At the same time Ronan released a shot at the Aribiter left of him while throwing his knife to an Aribter on his right. The blade sliced through his neck causing him to stagger as blood sprayed from the huge gash as the bolt round blew away the top part of the other Arbiters head. Within just 3 seconds 2 Arbiters lay dead with a third wounded.
Ronan barely had time to jut backwards through the doorway as shots whistled past him as the other Arbiters raced towards him. A shot struck Ronan through the left forearm, cleanly exiting through the otherside and embedding itself into the wooden doorframe as Ronan looked back into the building too Wilson .
"Wilson!!" he cried, "Prepare yourself!!" Backstepping into the room and away from the door that was about to be overrun and grabbing a desk, flipping it over to use as a makeshift barrier. The noise around him was deafening, it was not distracting though, living the life of war one soon gets used to the constant noise of battle. Wilson saw another desk and seemingly decided that a second piece of cover would allow for degree of crossfire.
A smoke grenade suddenly shot into the room from outside, clanging off the wall and then rolling across the floor as it released the gas. Ronan let out a grin at their stupidity, despite their training they clearly had not taken any notice of the enemy they wished to engage. And now they had actually given a good amount of screening to a Guardsmen wearign a gasmask and an Astartes capable of breathing even in hostile environments. Ronan saw Wilson looking at him, if he was a guessing man he would guess Wilson's expression to be one of being greatly amused.
Two Arbiters raced into the room wearing gasmasks, falling almost immeadiatly to a mixture of boltgun fire and flame as they tried to gain a bearing on the hidden Astartes and Guardsman. Another bounded in quickly behind them, only to meet the same fate as they shot almost blindly into the smoke filled room. Wilson and Ronan both knew they could not stay here, with the Arbiters surrounding and advancing on the building they would soon lose this tempory foothold. They had the advantage of numbers and firepower, tactically Ronan knew it would be better to withdraw and take the firefight through the building giving the reinforcements more time to get here.

OOC: Alright, I'm back and I think I have something in mind....stay tuned...
EDIT: BIC:
The next few minutes of Mikal's life were hectic to say the least. Mikal, however, did not find that dwelling on the fact that his life was hanging in the balance made the situation any better so he dispelled any thoughts of despair. It was his duty, his directive, to continue to operate until his mind was united with that of the Omnissiah's.
He had a problem he could not fix...The stubber's were running out of ammo and it seemed that the arbiters had cleared a way through the minefield and were now trying to force a way into the building. They were surrounded too and it was impossible to keep all the hostiles from getting into the building. Below him, he could hear the chatter and whoosh of Ronan's and Wilson's weapons respectively. There was a large amount of pained and frantic shouting as well, there was no doubt that the arbiters had taken massive losses but still they came. One of the stubbers dry clicked and a servitor brought it another box of ammo...the last one...
With no contact with the promised reinforcements, Mikal knew there was only one thing to do, he picked up his plasma pistol with a clarity that only he could have. The blessings of his order had given him peace in the cold efficiency of steel and machine. It was now that he embraced that part of himself, he often rejected it in practice but here and now, it was the only thing keeping him operable. Mikal marched to a window and leaned out, acquiring a target immediately and firing through the smoke and haze. He fired a searing blue bolt that took the right arm off a screaming arbiter, went through it, and carved half the head off of a second one who dropped without a scream. Fire spanked up at Mikal wildly and he took a stray shot in the chest plate of his exoskeleton. It bounced of and sent him a step back, he regained his footing quickly and fired another shot from his smoking pistol.
"For Emperor and Omnissiah!" He shouted through the window, somewhere behind him he heard a stubber click dry and the bootfalls of hostiles. For some reason, he recalled a phrase Commissar Milan shouted once while the Cadian 45th were defending a bridge from chaos forces...
"To the last man, with the last round!" He boomed and fired another shot. His plasma gun, though old, burned blue white. Suddenly the vox amp behind him barked to life with shouts for someone to acknowledge. Mikal limped over to it and placed his sizzling pistol on the table, he picked up the vox phone and...
the ground shook...something exploded close by and threw Mikal from his feet. He registered the sounds of missile launchers, autocannons...and jet engines...
"This is Firehawk lead with Firehawk squadron...We are seeking to assist the forces affiliated with Inquisitor Avare, the boots are on their way but we have arrived in advance. I need a visual marker of your location so we can provide accurate fire support." The voice coolly stated. Mikal analyzed the sound of the jet wash and found that it lined up with the nuances of Imperial Vulture gunships...three of them to be exact. Mikal said a small prayer of thanks to the Omnissiah for salvation and keyed his vox.
"Gaz, deploy smoke on the roof, we must make sure our support does not mistake us for the enemy." Mikal said and picked up the vox phone. "This is Techpriest Mikal, our hostiles surround us on all sides, one of my comrades is triggering a visual marker for you now and I will activate the beacon on the vox in the building. We require close air support, danger close, Omnissiah be with you." Mikal said and hung up, flipping a switch on the vox amp to set the infrared beacon on.
"Roger that Engineseer, stay down, this is going to be a close shave, the Emperor protects." The replying voice said. In a few moments the sounds of missiles and autocannons opened back up, shaking the ground once more and obliterating the lines of the arbiters so horribly that they were forced to take cover in other nearby buildings. They continued to fire but their force was severely depleted now and it was becoming sporadic. Mikal and the others still could not move outside the building but at least they had been saved from immediate destruction.

The World Eater, though injured from the weight of fire wrought upon him, was still standing tall and strong and was most certainly as terrifying as ever. To normal men that is. Narciso Claudius was not a normal man. He had long since shed himself of any mortal fears that had once hindered him. A righteous oath on his lips, he raised his Inferno pistol, the flames from the ornate weapon searing the traitor, melting and fusing the Berserkers' ceramite chest plate. In retaliation, two Bolt rounds hit him in the gut with pin-point accuracy, the powerful shells detonating and spilling what few remains there were of the Interrogator's innards on the ground. Claudius collasped with a cry, more of anger than pain. His would-be executioner stood over him, snapping off a few shots to suppress the rest of the retinue, before looking down at the Interrogator. "Your skull goes to Khorne!" The giant Astartes declared, raising his Chainsword to deliver the killing blow. Claudius was undeterred even in the face of death, his eyes full of fiery rage. "The Emperor protects!" He retorted, intercepting the swing with his Power sword, severing the power-armored hand. The World Eater roared in rage, before crushing Claudius' skull underfoot. He emptied his pistol before discarding it and reclaiming his Chainsword in time to swing it at the foe he sensed behind. Khan ducked the whirring, gore-soaked Chainsword before thrusting the Phase sword into the titan's still smoking chest, the blade passing through the melted ceramite like a knife through air. He leaped to the side, narrowly avoiding a downwards sweep from his deadly opponent, the monomolecular teeth of the Chainsword biting into the ground. He scrambled to his feet, only to be knocked back down as the Khorne Berserker kicked him in the chest, breaking several ribs and fracturing his ribcage. He raised his hand and unleashed a burst of warp lightning into the terrible warrior before him, though it did little but scorch the already brutalized Power armor. The Berserker expertly removed Khan's outstretched hand with an almost graceful swing of his vicious weapon. The lightning ceased and Khan screamed in pain. The traitor Astartes prepared to claim his fourth kill of the fight, when a glowing blade exited his chest. "Blake, now!" Avare called, as the Chaos Marine spun round and sent Avare flying with a vicious backhand, leaving her in a dazed crumple a few metres away, her jaw crooked and broken. The Berserker turned back to face his Psyker opponent, only to have a dazzling blade plunged into his primary heart. The room suddenly became cold as Khan drew upon his deepest reserves of power, channeling it straight through his blade into the Marine. The blade glowed white hot and the Khorne Berserker roared in anger and pain as his life was extinguished, an aura of power surrounding his killer whose eyes overflowed with intense energies beyond even a champion of Khorne's control. In a hopeless attempt at survival, the Khorne warrior weakly swung his Chainsword at Khan, but his strength was all but gone, he felt it being stolen from him. Still, the teeth of the sword bit into Khan's side, before the arm holding it fell limp. Then it was over. The light faded. The chamber returned to its original temperature. The Berserker fell back with a clunk, his form lifeless and still; three blades portruding from his ravaged form. As for the slayer of the beast, he too fell down, blood leaking from his wounds. Though he lay still, life continued to flow through him. Everyone in the room was stunned momentarily, however Aygapus was the first to react two seconds later, gunning down the cultists that had revealed themselves to watch their supposed "God" slaughter their foes. The rest scattered, either trying to find some refuge from the Inquisitorial fury or falling on their knees to beg for redemption or mercy, however they were gifted only with death. One however, remained resolute in the face of overwhelming and absolute defeat. He was known as Scarface and with good reason; his face was a mess of scars, perhaps earned in battle or self-inflicted. None could know for sure, for the second-in-command of the Crimson Jackals was mysterious and uncompromising in his ways. He stood, holding a man who was supposed to have been a sacrifice, a Plasma pistol pressed against the side of the short, overweight mans' head. Scarface said nothing, his eyes betraying his rage well enough. He was a big man and held his squirming prisoner in an iron-hard grip. Perhaps this was an attempt at escape, or maybe he sensed his prisoners' importance. Whatever the reason, it was irrelevant, for all that mattered was that the person he held was the manservant. Those members of the Inquisitorial retinue who had not been killed or otherwise disabled grouped together, weapons raised and aimed at the sole remaining cultist. None shot. They all knew the importance of this moment, yet none knew how to proceed without jeopardizing their mission. Scarface made an expression that resembled some sort of satisfied grin. Perhaps whatever plan he had in mind had a chance to succeed after all. It most certainly did not. A bloody soldier appeared behind Scarface, wrenching his pistol-weilding arm down as he plunged a trench knife into the ganger's throat, using it as leverage to throw him to the ground. As the man fell, his Plasma pistol fired and struck the terrified manservant in his right kneecap, separating the leg and causing the pathetic man to scream out in pain as he slumped to the floor, grasping the burnt stump that remained of his injured leg. His cries of agony were drowned out as several members of the retinue shot Scarface into messy chunks of mutilated gore. Soric spat on what remained of Scarface before collapsing to his knees. It was over. They had won. Aajz had already started to treat the manservant and the others were applying what first-aid they knew to their own and others injuries. However, little did they know of the battle that still raged above them...

Well, I tried to go for Kill Claudius, but you managed to kill the traitor marine and all the cultists beforehand, so I thought back to what would make a corpse dangerous?

Subject: Wilson
Location: OP
Status: Defending Position.
With the arrival of friendly close air support, the number of hostiles entering Wilson and Ronan's killing ground had dropped significantly, judging by the noise, they now had to deal with at least two gun-ships, one of which was using its punisher gating cannon rather excessively.
Good thing they had arrived when they did, Wilson mused, while the few Arbites still standing poured shot after shot into a space about five feet to the guardsmen's right, as if he was going to stay were he had just sprayed them with burning fuel even with the smoke cover, idiots.
"I'm dry!" he yelled to Ronan, then incinerated the first Arbite who tried to rush the defenders through the perceived opening, then laughed mockingly as the corpse hit the blood slick floor. That trick never got old.
His flamer really was empty, so he ran back to his previous position, scooping up a fallen shotgun as he moved, dragging an arbite corpse with his so he could scavenge more ammo from him, when the man's helmet fell off.
Wilson, thumbed random shells into the breach, then racked the slide and ducked out of cover to blow the head of another Arbite with a round that seemed to follow the man's movement, the next round was a conventional shell, and tore open the chest of an Arbite trying to flank him.
"Oh yeah, I'm keeping this." WIlson muttered to himself, his next shotgun blast only wounding his target, who was then messily executed by Ronan's descending boot.
WIlson was suddenly aware that there was no more incoming fire, and he carefully raised his head above the heavily shredded desk, through the rapidly dispersing smoke all he could see were corpses, some still ablaze.
"Wilson to Mikal, we're all clear out here, Ronan and I are going to sweep the lower levels, and thank those pilots for me. Out"

Khan rolled over on his uninjured side, groaning. "Did I just get hit by a Russ?" He mumbled. The adrenalin must've kicked in long ago, or he was too numb to feel the pain, either way, he was glad as he saw the blood trickling from his mangled wrist. His left flank felt hot and sticky. "Oh gak," He said, "That's gonna leave a mark." Somehow, through some great feat of strength, Khan managed to crawl over to the corpse of the giant Astartes. He wrenched his beloved blade free and then used it as support to heave himself up, causing him to moan from the strain, feeling returning to his body. He looked around and saw corpses everywhere. He noticed with a slight smile that they had secured the manservant, though the target was squealing like a piglet from some injury. Damned hivers, they had no spine. Sergeant Slavro noticed that he was still alive and rushed over, already reaching for his field kit. He called for Aajz soon after. With some difficulty, the two rushed to stop the bleeding and dress Khan's wounds. Despite this, they managed to succeed before he bled out. Slavro handed him a handful of painkillers. "Here, take these," He offered. "I'm guessing I shouldn't have more than one or two at once," Khan stated with a grin, gulping down half a dozen pills. The two then sat down to admire the team's handiwork. All things considered, they'd done rather well. The mission was a success. The loss of an Assassin of such high calibre was serious indeed, though not a detrimental. Whilst Remus might eventually get some trouble for it, the success of this manhunt, which appeared to be rather important would probably silence any qualms. But Khan's mind was uneasy. Something was seriously wrong with all this. The manservant had told him that the person they were seeking had been carrying an Inquisitorial Rosette - this led him to only one conclusion: they were hunting a radical or heretical Inquisitor, or at least someone masquerading as one. He shook his head. They would worry about that later when they interrogated the manservant and by the Emperor, Khan would be there when they did. Though he glanced at the bloody stump that had been his left hand and realised he would require an augmetic replacement first. In fact, he'd need a lot of treatment, he knew his ribcage was messed up pretty badly too. The Chainsword wound on his left flank wasn't terrible - thankfully the blade hadn't bitten deep and had only gifted him with a messy flesh wound. All in all, he was in a bad way. But he'd seen worse. He grinned, thinking back to the surprised look on that cultists' face when he'd beaten him senseless despite four gunshot wounds on Prima VII. Khan reached into one of the pockets on his dirty, smelly hive rags and pulled out some Lho sticks. He handed one to Slavro, who gratefully accepted. The stick his mouth, Khan pulled out a lighter and lit both of their joints. He breathed deep, inhaling the calming narcotic, closing his eyes. They'd probably get some gak for this, but after what he'd just been through, he couldn't care less. (OOC: Andy, hope you don't mind me giving Slavro a smoke.)

Character: Avare
Location: Underground
Situation: Leaving Jackal Compound
Emperor damn it that had hurt, Avare thought as she nursed her jaw. Definitely cracked, possibly broken. She would try to avoid talking too much It couldn't be worse than her ribs though. Sister Lucia's painkillers had stopped most of the pain, but she could definitely feel two of them protuding in wierd sorts of angles. She had really thought that had been the end for her, standing before that towering abomination caked in the blood of the Assassin and her fellow Interrogator. Claudius hadn't talked much, but he'd been a comrade and it was never easy when, and it was always when, they died. The Assassin well...that was different. It hadn't really ever been a member of Avare's team, always technically a liason from the Assassinorium, but it's death had come as a shock as well.
Then there was Khan Blake. Avare didn't like psykers, few people did, but there was a touch of something about Blake. She couldn't put her finger on it, but after that display, after seeing that monster brought low by this mortal man in his ragged hive outfit... she suspected he wasn't sactioned, the clamped psykers the Black Ships didn't take back to His Holy Choir rarely came across as so wild in the use of their powers. She didn't like it one bit, but the man had just saved her life.
And they had the manservant too. That was what this had all been about, nearly a half dozen of their own dead, more wounded, all to secure this sick puppy of a man. It wouldn't take long to wring what they wanted out of him.
"Interrogator Blake!" She coughed, her jaw molesting the words as they came out in a jigsaw manner. "Getthat...sorryexcuse of...a groxfondler out of my sight. Andwill... someone tell me whatthehell...isthe...situation uptop?"

Character: Brother Aygapus
Location: Under Jackal’s stronghold with Avare.
Situation: Identifying the Chaos scum
Traitor Astartes…Throne dammit, it was traitor Astartes…
Aygapus cursed under his breath as he extracted himself from cover. The Minotaurs had no fear of battling others of their ilk, but Aygapus had seen more than enough of them in the Badab conflict. He had hoped, perhaps foolishly, that this assignment would see no more of that war rekindled. Worse still, this wasn’t just any Space Marine who’d broken his vows recently. This was a true chaos worshipper, maybe even one of the traitors who’d turned against the Emperor at the Imperium’s birth. Aygapus knew time worked differently in the warp. What had been 10’000 years to him may simply be a century to the renegades. Despite himself, he spat on the ground.
Slowly, whilst Avare and Blake tried to right themselves, he moved over to the Chaos worshipper’s corpse. He recognised that armour mark. From the helmet, and the infamous sigil on its shoulder pad-a planet engulfed by a gaping maw-he could identify the monster as belonging to the Twelfth Legion. The World Eaters. Aygapus had fought the World Eaters once before, when he was simply a neophyte. The event still shocked him even to this day; there had been NOTHING left. Angron’s butchers had destroyed it all for their foul deity.
Still, Aygapus told himself, it could be worse. The World Eaters were bad but they were far from the worst of the traitors. No, that honour belonged to a very different Legion…Aygapus shuddered at the memory. He’d seen quite enough of them for one life time, though he would be lying if he said that he wasn’t eager to meet them again. For revenge’s sake…
Sir! The Fire Hawks are not what they seem! They’re…by the throne, they’re!...

Character: Ronan
Location: Insiude the Observation Post
Situation: With Wilson as air support arrived
With the guns blasting from the gunships causing the Arbitors to take to cover, and the Troops appearing in the distance, Ronan knew there position was safe. He had already planned his route through the building and planned where he would take cover to return fire while he and Wilson retreated through the building ... which was now completely unnecessary with the Arbitors gettign ripped to pieces.
The air stank of promethium and the stench of burnt flesh filled the room from the charred remains of several Arbitors that had fallen to Wilson's flamer. Ronan walked between them all into the middle of the room, his eyes watching to ensure they were truely dead. "Never assume an enemy is dead" he muttered to himself as he knelt down by one, determining he was dead and picked up a ammo clip from the corpses belt. Seeing the clip was 16 shotgun shells he promptly tossed it to Wilson with looking, who although caught of guard caught it in his hand.
He tilted his boltgun, checking the ammo, he had a few rounds left and three spare clips due to his conservation of ammo. He pulled out the clip and replaced it with a fresh one, making sure he was prepared in case they managed to get regroup for another assualt. Standing up and moving towards the broken door he pressed the button on his ear mounted comm. "All Team Fallen, Arbitors have been cleared from the immeadiate vicinity and are being pinned by friendly support, but don't let up. They have sufficent numbers to mount a counter attack"
As he let go of the button to his comm he peered out of the door, boltgun pointed and fired two shots, felling two Arbitors taking cover behind a dumpster.

Character: Mikal Location: Inside the Observation Post Situation: Monitoring support Mikal had been on the vox for the past several minutes, coordinating between the pilots of the Vulture wing and Kelly who was also alternating between firing his weapon and sighting targets for the air support. Eventually, the arbites were peeled back forcefully and it became a potshot battle between the two forces. As the smoke cleared and the continuous firestorm abated some with the members of the team now able to move freely, the pilots contacted Mikal on the vox. "Be advised Engineseer, my birds are dry on fuel and ammo, we're making one more pass and then we're leaving but don't worry, the valks with the boots are less than a minute out, confirm over." Mikal sighed with relief, it was over for now, the stormtroopers were almost here and when they arrived the battle would well and truly turn in their favor. He brought the vox phone up to his mouth with his good hand and spoke into it. "I confirm your last message Firehawk lead, we thank you for the assistance and wish you godspeed, Omnissiah bless you." He said simply. "The Emperor protects, Engineseer, Firehawk squadron is pulling out." Was the response and then the jet engines roaring got farther and farther away. But they were replaced by others just as they left. Mikal identified their engine ignition patterns as belonging to several Valkyrie gunships. "This is Absolution lead." Came a voice on the vox. "The cavalry is here, I repeat, we have boots on the ground, if any friendly forces can hear this please respond and give your situation." Mikal took a moment before replying. "This is Engineseer Mikal, all Team Fallen units are accounted for and active, we do have wounded though so we will need medical personell." "No problem Engineseer, we have your position, standby, you will see the troops in about thirty seconds." The voice said. Sure enough the Valkyries began to hover over the lot outside, The stormtroopers rappelled down with quick efficiency that Mikal would expect from anyone under the employ of the Inquisition. Their identical matt black equipment and hellguns were a reassuring sight to Mikal as they began to fan out, secure the area, and return what little fire they were receiving. The door guns on the Valkyries were opening up too, creating an effective wall of fire that the already broken arbites could not return. Mikal set the vox phone down and went outside to greet the stormtroopers' leader who was barking orders left and right and heading inside the building himself. As he saw Mikal he gave the man the sign of the Aquila. Mikal tried to return it with the sign o the cog but failed halfway due to his severed arm. He went to apologize for it but the Captain held a hand up as if to dismiss it. "I'd like to discuss pleasantries with you Engineseer but I need a total report on the situation. Where is the Inquisitor?" "She has taken her team into the belly of the Crimson Jackal's outpost, it is not far from here, perhaps you would send a few of your men to aid her?" "In a moment, the area has yet to be secured, you have wounded?" "Yes sir. They are all inside." Mikal said, before he finished, the captain called forward medics who ran inside with kits in hand. Mikal looked around, there must have been a good company's worth of men here. In a few minutes, the area was deemed secure and the arbites had already fled or died. now that that was done, the group could focus on retrieving what they had come here for. "Lets get ready to move out, come on men, the Inquisitor is waiting!" The captain shouted to his men as he put his helmet on. The captain originally wanted the Team Fallen members to stay at the post until their return but Mikal convinced him that they were going whether he wanted them to or not so he relented. Mikal grabbed his plasma pistol with his single flesh hand, in his servo arm witch was malfunctioning slightly from a blow he'd received earlier was his power axe. As the group moved away, Mikal tried his best to contact Avare. "Lady Avare, if you can here me, the situation on the surface has bettered exponentially, the team is on its way with a company of stormtroopers, we will be with you shortly, hold on."

((My understanding is there is still a meltabomb ready to blow that was previously setup by Wilson some posts ago. At the time of setting it up, Ronan and Wilson are under the impression it will collapse no less than 50% of the gangs hideout. Wilson has the trigger))

(I had remembered, I figured at this point it would be used after the team had left the tunnels to collapse the whole thing and erase the heresy under there...)

(OOC: Before you ask I have checked all this is OK with EF)
Character: Gaz
Location: Inside the Observation Post
Situation: Meeting Mikal
Gaz was finding it hard to walk, he had become light headed from the blood loss. He just managed to sling his rifle across his back, before he began stumbling down the stairs. He needed to keep his rage under control, the last time he let it slip..... He couldn't let that happen again.
When he was the only remaining member off his squad every one thought it was a miracle how he had survive the ork base, it wasn't a miracle it was his rage. As each of his team mate were slaughtered it hit him like bullets, time seemed to slow down and he felt strange. Gaz ran back around the corner, he could hear hundreds of orks coming. he stepped back around the corner and lightning spread from his fingers to the nearest orks then chained through the entire mob. Their charred remains dropped to the floor almost in unison. Gaz stumbled and fell against the wall, he sat propped against it, he could taste copper in his mouth. He could feel all his energy was gone. He faded in and out of consciousness. So did this mean he had psychic powers? what would happen if anyone found out? Would he be executed?
He heard lots of footsteps on the metal deck and was expecting an ork boot to come crashing through his skull any second, but it didn't come. He managed to find enough strength to lift his head he saw storm trooper rushing past him, he tried to get up but just fell into someone the woman looked down at him, he would latter know this was Avare. She stood there for a second, he was waiting for he to draw her weapon and execute him. But she didn't, she called for a medic, he remember nothing after that.
He reached the bottom of the stairs and tripped, he fell by Mikal's feet. He led there for a few seconds, he could feel everyones eyes staring into his back. He attempted to get up again and managed to stumble over to a chair. Gaz' head was spinning.
"how far away are the others? I think I will need Ajaz' help with this wound" he said gesturing to his shoulder.

Character: Rally Jager
Location: the catacombs
Situation: regroup
(Ooc I got to start reading the headings more often, I thought I got killed off... by three people, well lesson learned)
Rally stood scanning the area for still lingering threats.
*Holy Emperor, that was close.... lost some though* she thought walking over to Claudius, retrieving his power sword and Inferno pistol, as well as some plasma cells and bolter rounds and stashed them in her belt, Handing the sword over to Brother Aygapus.
(can't let a relics be stolen or destroyed)
As Rally took some makeshift bandages and tightened them on her wounds she clicked on the vox net...
"Ma-am," She shouted over to the Inquisitor, "Looks like the dirty Abrites found the observation post! They were pushed back but I don't like the sound of cleansing flame right now!"
Rally moved over to the exit and peaked around the corner Plasma pistol humming softly... "Clear!"

Character: Brother Aygapus
Location: Under Jackal’s stronghold with Avare.
Situation: Regrouping
“My Thanks, Arbiter.” Aygapus gave her a brief nod, though she seemed too busy to notice.
As much as it pained him to admit it, Aygapus had grown to respect the Arbirator; she was loyal, she followed orders, she could handle herself in a fight and she didn’t shrink from duty. The fact that she was now taking point without instruction was a good example.
Aygapus reflected for a moment on the passing of his two comrades, Claudio and the Assassin. The first was a pity. Aygapus had respected Claudio as well, as someone who knew their duty and do it to the end. He had never really got a chance to prove himself, and now the Imperium had lost a faithful servant. Aygapus muttered a quick prayer for him. The Assassin would be missed for its skills, but if he was speaking honestly Aygapus could not help but feel slightly more secure without that thing around. Perhaps it was just his chapter’s brutal and direct style of warfare, but he had learned to never trust anyone who slinked in the shadows the hard way.
Aygapus looked down at the sword in his hands. It had been a long time since he’d used a blade like this; in fact, it might not have been since he was a Battle company sergeant. Everything had seemed so clear then-go where the High Lords command, fight who the High Lords tell you to fight. But now…all this espionage and secrets set the Minotaur’s teeth on edge.
He gave the blade a twirl. Hmm, he still hadn’t lost his skill then, which was something. Aygapus grinned despite himself; maybe he’d get to use this on another traitor Astartes bastard. That was something to look forward to. Casting another glance at the Marine’s corpse, Aygapus thought he noticed something cut onto its leg. He moved to check, but decided against it. After all, he had a job to do.

I'm curious what EF will write to our character logs.
Anyway, I'm back, but I'll be leaving again tomorrow. Still, some nice pieces of RP here.

Unfortunately, Uni is simply terrible at the moment. So I'm going to write a summary of this mission in the next post (as well as updating the character sheets).
HOWEVER, I will be starting up another mission featuring this team as we close in on our quarry, opening up recruitment again and taking suggestions. The Hunt Continues.

Character: Soric
Location: Hidden base
Situation: Aftermath
Having got time to come to his senses again, Soric suddenly dropped to his knees, then rolled onto his back. He was dead with fatigue. In normal situations, when not wounded, he could do hours on end without getting tired. He inspected his wounds again. The bleeding on his side had stopped because of the synth skin. His shoulder had never even begun to bleed, the broken fragments of carapace armour and tunic punched into his skin quenched the bleeding. Either way, he was still tired.
He looked over to the manservant he had given everything for to save. He was pathetic. He cried as Aajz worked her medical skills on his stump where once his leg had been. The manservant had passed out two times since the wound, but Aajz always brought him back to his senses.
No mater how you looked at it, if it wasn't for Soric, they would have still be in a standoff, of the manservant could have been molten slag. He felt proud to have helped cary out the mission to success.
The calm was broken when a pair of Inquisitorial stormtroopers entered the cave. They were dressed in black colored carapace armour, and wore the Inquisitorial stamp on their right shoulder plates. These men had sworn allegiance to serving the inquisition, something Soric had not done yet, and therefore he still wore his own combat gear. Soric didn't plan to join the inquisition for good. He hoped they would dump him when his duty ended. But then again, duty never ended in service of the golden throne, only in death does it end.
The Stormtroopers exchanged vox clicks to each other, then one of them removed his enclosed helmet. The trooper took in a deep breath, which he quickly regretted doing, the stench of taint could clearly be smelled.
"The situation is clear," the bare headed trooper said. "The enemy is driven off. We're here to escort the you and the objective out of here. Follow us please."

When this thing starts up again, would you mind if I make a different character? Someone more interesting than a guardsman.....like an Ogryn, or a rogue trader
