Howabout as written? I find it hilarious that someone with such an inflexible, unreasonable outlook could have made it into university. I don't care if he does well or not, hell, he can end up Dean for all I care, but I find it hilarious.

Also, anyone who believes homosexuality is a choice or genetic is being silly. The human mind is a hell of a lot more complicated than that.

See!? This is the kind of thing I'm talking about.

Dammit, biccat, you're supposed to be a gun-waving, Muslim-hating, gay-bashing ideologue!

Ahh looks like ive lost myself in all this hate .

Let me regain my thoughts (with the help of coffae)

It seems to me that from the dawn of creation man has become an unpredicdable race , and hence are subjected to perversions of the mind and body.

Now , as we know humans are not perfect , becaus we derive from a primal subspecies during that time our mind was not "able"to decide on what is and what is not perfect .

And during this "primal" time and as our mind was evolving it was inevitible that these perversions were made manifest .

What are these perversions that were made manifest during our primal evolution ? Good question .

Well as we explored our enviroment due to our primal mind we "experimented" which was a good thing but also a bad thing.

Becaus as we experimented we found out how to use tools and build .

But we also due to our primal evolving mind had sex with the same sex .

Which led to the degredation of our civilisation .

By studying this evidence we can concur that our civilization would of been alot better of ,

And that gay people revolt me .

That's the thing, homosexuality is proven to have genetic influences. Influences is the key word here-- we are products of both nature and nurture.

As for how homosexuality keeps going despite the fact that homosexuals typically don't reproduce? Well for one, not everyone who has the genetics would necessarily be homosexual because of societal influences. How many husbands find out they're gay later in life, after having children and being married to a lovely wife? Quite a few, actually.

But that said, I'd have to bring up the issue of Drepanocytosis, IE sickle cell anaemia. It's obviously a very deadly and unwanted gene, right? And yet, it's actually favorable to have a dominant normal gene and a recessive sickle cell gene, because it makes the person immune to malaria and some other similar diseases. So the gene provides a trade-off. Homosexuality genes, as it were (it's a large set of them rather than a single gene), have a similar status in human genetics, albeit homosexuality itself isn't actually any more lethal than heterosexuality barring societal bigotry, but it does mean that if someone embraces it they won't likely reproduce, so the same effect genetically.

We don't. And furthermore, you misunderstand (probably intentionally, as you appear to be a troll)-- the sickle cell anaemia genetics actually provides an ADVANTAGE, through the heterogeneous combination providing immunity to malaria. It's not a weak link.

Homosexuality, genetically speaking, actually has advantages to society, precisely BECAUSE they don't reproduce.

Actually it's not JUST people with it, but carriers (people with one dominant normal gene and one recessive SCA gene-- they don't actually have SCA themselves) that are immune to malaria.

We dont ? so what if goodlooking man gets a job that an ugly guy applied for but thay have the same qualification that ugly guy cant get any money to feed himself and so dies out of starvation

Same happens all over the place like in nature the bigest and strongest male gets the female . so others die without carring on thier genes .

Nope. If it was "the strong survive" we'd not have society to begin with. Society itself provides protection to those whom are weaker so that they can provide services and produce goods that they would be unable to provide if society does not exist. Indeed, because of the nature of our society, many strong and/or talented people are held back by those whom are born into wealth.

Ah. I see. I have to agree with you there, but a Abortion Addiction trait is what I find sexiest in a woman. So we have that for future helpful traits.

Of course it is, someone of your obvious intelligence ( ) would clearly see accepting others as somehow "vile"...you really should try surfing the Klan forums twinkles...I'm sure you'd find a lot more "like minded people" there.

Just ignore him. Let's talk about Rick Perry instead.

Because Rick Perry is also trolling, but he actually matters to the world at large given that he is a contender for presidency.

Back on topic: TBH, I don't know a lot about most of the Republican candidates other than I've heard several them (especially Bachmann and Cain and now Perry) say some things I find alarming. But, since I'm not a registered Republican, there's no point in worrying about it now since I can't vote in the primary. Now, when the candidate is selected, I'm going to research that person like a boss. I'm fairly liberal so it's quite unlikely I'll vote for them in any event, but it's not 100% impossible and in any event it'll be good to know what to expect if the candidate wins the election.

o0shotty0o wrote:I think obama i going to stay president . I think he will have the popular vote in america.

Well, his approval numbers are fairly low, but lots of presidents have had similar approval numbers and still served two terms. Reagan and Clinton spring to mind, though I think as of this moment right now, Obama's numbers are a little lower than theirs. Carter's numbers were lower still than Obama's, and he only served one term. It really depends on who ends up being the Republican candidate and then any third party spoilers who show up, for example, Ron Paul will probably run as third-party candidate and draw away some votes that otherwise would've gone Republican. If Sarah Palin makes an attempt to run as a third party candidate, I think that would guarantee a second term for Obama since the conservative and conservative-leaning independent vote would be too divided. It's what happened in 2000 with Bush vs. Gore. If Ralph Nader hadn't run, many of those votes would've almost certainly gone to Gore and he likely would've won the election.

But really, I'm probably not the best person to speak about politics and political trends. Someone more knowledgeable than me (and preferably unbiased ) should probably speak about this.

Oh, he could certainly win the popular vote, but that doesn't mean he'll win the presidency!

Our system is awesome that way.

As a chaplain aide and as a grand son of a pastor and cousin to a few myself my family dislikes gays.

I Do not. Gays choose their path let them enjoy it. I may not personally enjoy it or like them, but what ever people will be people. People will always get on my nerves mostly the politicians.

On gay marriage I am all for it. But I really wish there was such a thing as straight pride day....

Oh dear.

Anyway
"Congress should have the power to override Supreme Court decisions with a two-thirds vote."
NO just no.
Congress would have too much power. To make laws and to also enforce them through a 2/3 vote? is this guy insane?

"The federal Constitution should define marriage as between one man and one woman in all 50 states. "

No. I would never ever vote for this man. Even if he promised me tax freedom. He is being openly Homophobic by this statement. Of course I do not know what the context is. For all I know he could of said "Or not..."
But until then yada.

"Abortion should be made illegal throughout the country. "

No. People made their desceions. A child is too expensive to care for as a teenager. It would be wrong and stupid and it would just make a repeating pattern in the next generation. If anything improve the sex education as it fails worse than a first date.

"Abolish lifetime tenure for federal judges by amending Article III, Section I of the Constitution."

Yes because this makes alot of sense. Lifetime tenure for federal judges is a privilage and a honor. They do it right. So keep them in office let them teach the next generation of super judges.
There is no good reason to get rid of this.

Of course I will come off as biased as I am a Socialist Independent. :/ But anyway takes apart my post oh well.
Just making my opinions heard. I don't like that many politicians. Mostly because my tutor was biased and was awesomely cool, then one of my friends is biased being a pure strain Republican as his mother works for Bank of America. Anyway....

Rick Perry doesn't sound very good. He's lost my vote.

That's called "every day that isn't a gay pride day", I believe.

Heterosexual couples show affection for eachother in public without harassment all the time.

I believe the correct answer here would be "There is. It's every parade float that isn't a gay pride float." or something to that effect.

The greatest parade float of all time, of course, was when Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Rickrolled the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

As a side note, I'm wondering where any of the moderators are. This thread got extremely stupid while I was away.

The Roman Republic ultimately obeyed the Consuls, as young Caesar illustrated.

I personally prefer Albatross's conspiracy theory.

"According to Larouche and his minions, the British Empire still exists behind the scenes, pulling the strings. Plus some stuff about Jews and the Queen being an international dope-dealer. Oh, and 9/11? Yeah, we Brits did that, apparently."
