That's rule 63, and no that does not apply to sisters of battle.

Yeah...in order for it to apply, SoB will need to be genetically modified, and have S4/T4, at least 7 feet tall out of armor and have so much musculature to the point that they lose all of their sex appeal.

Balls'd that up, eh

It applies at all times. Therefore, there are female marines.

Fra Charmelandro wrote:I recall an article in WD once criticising conversions where an arm is raised to throw something with no corresponding movement in the shoulder. I find that rich coming from GW where nobody seems to have an appreciation of anatomy, e.g. the whole SM range where part of the induction process seems to be dislocation of the hips and usually the shoulders too. I also struggle with the horrendously ugly ogryns. What is that single tombstone sticking out his mouth supposed to do? Why is he carrying a small furry animal under his right arm? What injury did he suffer to mess up the musculature round his left shoulder so badly?

Surely they can't be worst the the original Ogryn models

I personally like the new models.

Those Old Ogryns are fantastic! The new ones are cool too, but...

Either way,

Poor old sod. He's fantastic in Necromunda, but couldn't they have given him ANYthing else? A Chainsword at the least...

Psssht... Its a new Imperium weapon called the power stick. It doubles the users strength but if you roll a 1 to hit it breaks into little pieces and the model runs off the board crying.

He's one of those 2nd edition figures that are actually very detailed, like Ragnar, but dear god that pose. I don't even mind his design that much - the topknot is goofy, but whatever. That pose is just so awful though.

They may be terrible models...but if you saw a cluster of floating explosive hemorrhoids drifting your way.....you'd probably crap your pants. I sure would.

I think the only major problem is that the Spore mines design makes them so fragile they snap with ease.

Kinda stupid to compare models from the earliest days of Rogue Trader with the modern incarnations.

RT era had some pretty stupid Space Marine, Imperial Guard, Eldar, and Chaos models too. It isn't like anybody is clamoring to write them out of the universe for twenty to twenty five year old figures.

The reason the Squats look silly sometimes is that the game was much sillier back then. It would have been perfectly possible for the Squats line of models to have evolved like all the rest of them did.

Had they made the Demiurg models like they planned, they would have brought the squats into the new age. *see artwork for examples.

personally I love a lot of the RT era models, because for their time they were brilliant models. I still have some squat bikers laying about for my pre heresy IW's as scout bikers, and they honestly don't look that out of place.

They really don't look out of place at all. I have some Squat models that stuck around for my Imperial Guard army, and they fit in just fine. The hate for Squats is much like the hate for the Ultramarines. Mostly unfounded.

Lots of people will hate me for this, but to me it just looks like the mother of the Dreadknight. Seriously, it looks like a rock could take it down.

Tbh a rock COULD take it down, but I loved its raw look, and I'm not even a SOB player...
