Same, but I am going to replay the entire series so...I'll keep my eyes peeled for that in ME1.

It may have been a graphical buggy thing, but I distinctly remember the turians looking a bit more "bug eyed" and their eyes would pivot weird when looking at an angle, which was creepy-ish and awesome.

I have to go back and play the whole thing through too >.>

I guess you can play as a Geth in the new free DLC coming up. That's pretty cool.

Welp, for those unaware I do now own ME3, for multiplayer more than anything. Me my buds were totally pumped for the new DLC, being free and all, and we all downloaded it for a night of playing.

Then we realized that the DLC characters all needed to be unlocked by random chance like all the other characters.

We closed ME3 and are now going to play Company of Heroes.

Well I guess that's not as cool but it is fair.

Yeah but I can honestly say there are more productive ways to entertain myself than grinding for hours hoping one of those stupid boxes gives me the Geth Hunter. EDIT: The randomness of the boxes has really started to ware me down. The amount of time I have to spend just to get the thing I want is absurd sometimes. I've logged about 100+ hours over the past week and I still have only have half the characters.

I'm afraid you may be unlucky. I usually get characters with Rares.

Finally finished the ME3 storyline (just completing the ending to get the last of the three), so now I can finally start reading this thread

First of all, if you don't have too much in the way of gear to start with...you really need to just buy a few dozen of the Recruit boxes.

I wish I was kidding, but if you buy a few dozen of them it saves you from getting the entry level crap in your Spectre/Veteran boxes.

The more Recruit boxes you've bought and the more characters you keep right at level 20 when you're hunting for something specific? The easier it is to kind of "game" the system.

I've already gotten everything the recruit boxes can give me. I didn't mind the boxes then, cause I was always getting something.

I'm on vet boxes right now, and I just find it tiring. It's not that bad, the time to reward ration is kind of bad XD

Do you have the "basic" weapons all up to "X"?

Because that does play a factor.

Yep. Irony of course is that I don't really use any of those weapons other than the Predator. I want upgrades for my Graal Spike Thrower, but the game doesn't want to give them too me -_-

The Graal Spike Thrower is seemingly a "Rare" which means it's going to be very hard to level up all the way unless you level up all your other rares.

I really wish I had read this a lot sooner. I'm not getting crap, I guess I've been lucking out? I've only been buying the premium spectre 99k boxes. So far I got golds and a few blacks, but no crap. Unfortunately by "no crap", I also mean I don't have nearly any weapon mods yet. I've going to buy some recruit boxes at this point I think.

If you play this weekend at all, you get some kind of reward box at the end of it that allegedly will contain some of the new alien heroes, if I read that right. So you should get in at least one game.

I'm like 99% certain that the "Special" boxes are purposely made to only hold golds, Ops supplies(Missiles/Survival Packs, etc), and have a high chance for blacks.

From what I've gathered, it is going to give you a guaranteed one of the new classes, and with a chance for the others to be in there as well.
