im working on the
EOD arm at the moment, got a magnet under the front right wheel arch to make that conversion, also working on an alternetive turret for it.

Your Taurox is interesting, I think it had to be treated as a quad, though I'd like to do a fully tracked version I think.I like the classic rhino style top hatches btw especially.
the ares head is the front of a landraider and the top hull of a russ upside down... they fit together suprisingly well with minimal cutting and boxing it in was pretty easy... gonna work on it slowly over the next month... then to decide what paint job to give it... i dont want to give it the usual desert paint job this time...
i felt like the turox needed a top hatch just to keep the asthetic like the chimeras and such... but i prefer the overall look of the rhino doors.

thanks very much guys glad you enjoyed looking at my stuff
Veteran Sergeant wrote:Well, it's good to know that to make the Taurox not an awful, ugly model, all you have to do is discard 60% of the kit.
Excellent work. By you at least. GW, on the other hand...
yeah, although i got plans for the peices i didnt use i just felt i could use them better elsewhere and for other projects... i had an idea in my mind and i wanted to stick with it, even if i meant using very little of the actual kit.

Where are the wheels from?
thanks mate, wheels are from zinge industries... i need to leave them another good review because im constantly impressed with the quality of thier conversion parts, very well sculpted and cast.

Taurox - what an amazingly effective conversion, looks soooo much better mate (Zinge wheels for the win) - with a hot tub on the back no less, pimp my ride
Salute... I only got two Basius basing pads (the Sulaco pair)for when I get my AvP kickstarter models... My boy got the latest 'not Dr Who' model from Heresy. Spent the rest of the show getting inspiration for my next gaming project - wild west. I thought it was crazy busy at the start of the day - Forge World stand was ridiculous - but it quietened off a load after lunch. Good day though...
the stealth ship is finished being modelled, and holy gak i never seen the ship from cars 2... just did a GIS for it and im so getting that toy of it to convert... cheers for the heads up.
wow, you really used alot of willpower at salute then... i cant help myself... i blow a whole load of cash there every year..
yup the forgeworld area was mental... the moment we got there me and my mate split of... i went to anvil and to zinge to get my doggies and wheels, and he went to forgeworld to get the 3rd heresy book... he was still there 35 mins later queuing up... thankfully he got his book though....
saw a few things there that really interested me... the AvP stuff was excellent and i chatted to the guys who are doing the spectre kickstarter and i cant wait to get on that.... good times ahead.

is that what the americans call it? makes sense i guess... although i cant help but call it bonecrusher.
been thinking about making more infantry and charachters recently after reading the codex... i decided i need some new psykers that are a bit more alien than the psycho mantis figure i made a few years ago... heres the twins.
armed with laspistols and the claws count as force axes, i cant wait to start using them as level 2 guys with divination... gonna be great.
