Now, get your thinking hat on and come up with something for the Comp too!
Thank you, they will get some paint on them. in time my friend in time.

I like this conversion... tho I have to say I didn´t dislike the ball- lasgun thing too
Yeah that's right, in numbers even ugly things can turn out cool.
and thank you!
well, those ball lasgun ports kinda look abit steampunk-ish if you ask me. so i can see why that calls to you then.

and a very easy conversion too.
so i'm back with an update! yaaaay...
since my last update i have had some RL stuff to take care of, so i haven't been able too build that much.
and one of those RL things were that i went to a festival! it's a growing festival called "Rockstad falun" or "Sabaton open air" that gets bigger and bigger for every year. it's only been going for 7 years so it's still kinda new.
but it was lots and lots of fun to go there. and since the festival is anything but near where i live i had to find somewhere to sleep, and what gives you more festival-feeling than camping in tents with about 1-2000 other people?
so me, my friends (we were about 13) and some other campers that joined us were sitting there in a big cozy ring with a guitarr singing songs, drinking beer and just having a good time.
then all of a sudden there came like 15 other people with a big banner and wepons (swords, shields, maces stuff like that) saying that they were there to claim our camp.
our respons were that they should atleast give us some time to defend ourselfs like the noble knights they were. and they did just that.. and boy did they regret it later on.
so there we were sitting in a ring looking at eachother thinking, "what on earth are we going to do?"
me and 3 others went and bought like 200 meters of duct tape.

and then we went to work. building about 15 wepons in 2 hours!

and armor ofcourse!
and since i brought a bucket i used that as a helmet. and that's when i bacame "King Bucket, ruler of the mighty kingdom of Camp Bucket".
and you should have seen the battle! it was a battle of epic scale i tell you! and we won too.
it's wonderful how 30 random strangers can come together and play like they were all 5 years old again.
god i love festivals...
so, who am i not to share my accomplishments in the field. i'm really happy with how they came out since i was anything but sober when i built them.
so it's a two handed mace, a two handed sword, and a helmet.
all the others made swords and helmets too, but one guy made an M2 flamethrower!

and it looked epic to say the least!
it's a shame i don't have any pics of them.

maybe some of the others have some.
anyway! like i said, the festival were lots and lots of fun. it was my 3rd year there and it never fails to deliver!
last but not least, here's a photo of King Bucket all ready for battle! minus the sword...
and yes, i said before on Vik's thread that i don't take photos when i'm out drinking.. and well, this here is probably the reason why.
and that's probably why i dont have any pics of the others..
so, moving on to something more hobbyrealated then.
while i was thinking of something to build for the contest i thought i'd build a base for my second sentinel.
the concept is that want it to look like it's been moving through some ruins and is on it's way out on the street again.
and this here is what a tired sentinel looks like..
then i began building. since i used the other part of the ruin for the vindicus gunship base i had a straight line where i sawed it off to deal with. as you can see on the first pic.
so i took my knife and started carving.. and this is what i ended up with.
and these are just some other details i've done so far.
and the start of the street.
the next step is to add some
GS for sculpt the cobblestone for the streets. after that it's just a matter of putting some debris all over the place and it's ready for paint.
and as i said. "while i was thinking of something to build for the contest" i've come up with something to build!
it will be a bridge. but i will convert a chimera to come with it. since it's the chimeras job to lay it down.
and i will base it on the russian MTU-90 Bridge layer.
so what do you think so far guys?
