@MeanGreenStompa: I'll show some updates soon as the models are sitting on my desk (which I can proudly say IMO totally rock ). The things slowed down a tad since we ruled IGG out and we're working our way to get a Kickstarter account - which poses some problems are it is available only for US and UK .

Kacper worked out our 2nd quick weekly promo - most of the orc items are significantly cheaper for a short period of time.

Remember when I posted some items created during creative fridays? First of the casts landed on my desk:

You know I have to be honest I was never really sold on the render originally but seeing the printed version I am gobsmacked I want one now so when can I pick it up then

I will also say I like the fact that your Orcs have taken a less toon vibe to them, they seem more organic if that makes sense which makes for a good alternative

I'd like to see more angles to see what's going on with his left hand (how's he holding those bombs?) and not to ok too keen on his WWE HeavyWAAAGH Title Belt.

Overall though, NICE!

Thought I would give a quick review knock at the door this morning (typical the only day I get a lie in) however after the posty past me a package that needed signing for I started to fill better about my interruption.

Opening up I found two bags one containing resin parts the other metal miniatures now to the review part.

The metal minis were the jungle group, 5 nice miniature set detail is spot on and casting is very clean and sharp.
Found a little flash on 2 of the models but very easily cleaned up, the only other very small criticism ( this is being picky ) was some very small holes on the minis but easily filled with GS.

Now the resin is a mixture of the ATV model and desert nomad heads, well what can I say but yes that good.

The heads are crammed with detail they are amazing really do look FANTASTIC !!! top marks on those guys my favourite has to be the guy with the scar across his face so evil looking.
The casting is crisp and clean no faults to be found.
Now the ATV model once again casting is clean and sharp no real issues to found, the thing I really loved about this model was how well it fitted together on a dry run no glue needed well unless you want it to stay together of course.
Also it has an alternative back end one for a standard version and the other for a gunner to stand, now not only do you get a choice but also an extra end for your bitz box
The other thing is the body could easily be upgraded and converted with extra detail of your choice, so more ways to personalise it.

Over all really impressed with the order quality and design

@Azazelx: we had some troubles with mailing lists in the past (people were not happy with those) so we dropped them - but if it turns out there's a need I may ressurect them .

@Orlando - something happened during upload I guess. It is not missing but has been muted a lot . If you increase volume you'll notice the humming sound - that's it, but it should be louder.

Hey, you said you weren't going to make sonic weapons to go with the sonic helmets. I'm glad you did tough. Those look really cool. Now, if I just had some money and some spare bits...

they're probably orks, but if hey were scaled for ogryn size then I might just have to build an ogryn detachment. Really love the two handed shotgun, it stood out for me for some reason.

Awesome to hear the feedback . I admit I was so excited when I assembled first model that I had to call buddies and share . And even today I managed to squeeze a couple fo minutes assembling more .

Whoaaa... it has been a while... But the repairs on the damaged KV2 master has been done and all the addons have been made. The resurrected kit is almost ready .

I know it is what they were aiming for (inspiration and all that), but I eagerly await the lower profile turret choices!

I'd leave off the side sponsons though. personal taste.

Clang - that's simple , simply don't glue the sponsons. This is a simple add-on, not something you have to use on the kit. We try to make it flexible - you can't have it with or without sponsons, swap weapons and so on.
And in fact initially there was no option for sponsons - we've added it as many requested such feature .

This set sparked lots of ideas in the workshop - apart from those mentioned some suggested using those on ghouls, 'nids and so on .

I'm shocked that nobody's commented on that yet!

First off, I really like this. There needs to be more robots in this scale. That being said, I do have a couple of minor quibbles with it. First is that there's no ammo for the gun, but that's easily fixable. Second though, is that there's no lateral mobility for the arms and legs. With the way the lower body is designed, it looks like this robot can only move forward and would be incapable of handling any kind of uneven terrain. A knock to the side would send it falling over.

Like I said, I do really like it though. I'd love to see one done up in a filthy industrial yellow. I hope you guys have some conversion parts for it planned. I'd love to see an industrial version with caterpillar track legs and cargo loader arms.

What Barzam said, and the head looks kind of generic, wish it had variants, say more knightly, evil version etcetera.

The wings are pretty dam cool I can think of a multitude of uses

The robot is a new look like aspects of it but I can see some of the concerns as to its movement capabilities, has a nice gothic/steampunk theme to it as well.

I like the mech. I would very much like to see it in a size comparison pic with other minis such as dreadknight, dreadnought, mega dread, etc., just to get an idea as to what it could reasonably proxy in 40K.

Well since it comes on a 50mm base I would say its about the size of a Centurion.

Picked up the Ork Tech Freak heads from my local.
Stunningly good casts of awesome sculpts. I can't describe how good these casts are, it's like they accidentally put the masters in a blister.

No worries, it has not disappeared . I'd like to deal with KS first and along the lines release KV2 (finally ) .
The pickup will land on the bench when those are done - it will be a cool project to test our 2nd 3d printer btw .

No I meant the infantry I worked on the theory I could pick up more at a later date I got the top pledge in the Kickstarter to cover as much as possible but thought I could pick up extras when they went on general sale

Well in the end I'm in the same boat, as I wanted to up my pledge level and then add some more funds to be able to get everything I want, but now I will have to even add more if we're not able to get things afterwards from their shop.

Sadly after more than a week and two mails later no reply up to now. Ah well, will try harder

Even if you can't keep most of the KS stuff in stock for general order what about having them as an option for special order

give people plenty of warning and let people pre-order them and cast up a bunch at set time 2-3 times a year

Even though quality is very good I'm still tweaking it for best results and testing various settings. It goes with our previous one nicely. THe old one gets the most demanding small pieces (miniatures for example), while the new one handles vehicles/scenery etc.
With the mods I'm working on I hope to make the quality gap between the two even smaller .

edit: and yes, Kuba went crazy with support srtuctures ...
