I'm afraid I don't like these, despite liking most of Puppets War designs, and being a big fan or Ork/Orc stuff

I think its the texture on them. They look like they are designed for drybrushing. But untainted they look bad in comparison to their other stuff.

Yes he is lucky indeed. As one PW's biggest fans in the past I just can't ignore the quality issues.

I am still hopefully they will finally turn things around and win us all back. But I will let others take the risk for now.

Those are really nice looking. It looks like the cab sections are modular, too. If only I had the time/money to throw around for them.

That middle truck in the second pic looks especially amazing!

Yeah that forward cab is swapped by the looks from one to the other, and I really like mixing it with the carrying section, major APC/Truck if halftracked.

I suspect the odd thing on the flat bed is a spot for their turrets to go if the troop/command box is also removed, making a flakk truck possible.

I couldn't wait for the new Alien Vs Predator stuff to be released so I could buy some Weyland-Yuitani Commandos as proxies for Ariadna Para-Commandos, so I bought some of the Alpha Troopers instead. Them, with the Prodos Capitol Airborne Trooper heads should look the part. The Alpha Trooper helmeted heads will be used to make Briscards with the Capitol Light Troop bodies.

Also coming is a set of barricades, some egg nests, the 'not-ABC Warrior' heads, and a set of the new shields. I'll let you know how they all turn out.

For their stuff, to remove the failures in their casts they really just need to invest in a pressure pot. That'd sort out a large number of their miscasts straight off.

The Optimus Prime cab just attaches over the other one.

For me, that would just be terrain for Infinity. $40+ is way too much for a single piece of terrain.

I am in need of APCs for my large IG style army, and I see these as a couple of models for command team APCs. I am still waiting to see the cost of the Dreamforge Plastic APC kits.
these come to about 36bucks a truck kit, 2 will be pretty much 72+shipping costs.

Actually, look at the mat it is sitting on. Those are 1-inch squares. It looks like some of the pieces are 7 or 8 inches wide. That definitely puts it on scale with a Stompa

I thought the mat was in metric (cm) side rather than imperial (inch)

but looking it up Olfa ones have both markings, one on each side so it could be either (I can't see for sure)

not sure which I'd prefer, I know I can't afford a resin stompa sized kit, but it would be cool

New beefy trucks and stompas, drooling

Really like the look of the trucks, I might have to get myself some.

My stuff from PuppetsWar has arrived! I received the following;

Barricades - Really well cast, very few if any bubbles, and a great scale for Infinity. Really well recommended for anyone interested in getting any.

Alien Eggs - Again, really well sculpted and cast, with no bubbles that I can see. The only thing that lets them down is that they have been sculpted on 25mm bases, and you can see the base itself in part of the miniature. Won't be too hard to green stuff over it though. Another good miniature.

ABC Robot style necron heads - Really fantastic. On the smaller side than other things, and I am not sure how they'll work in regards to being used with Necrons, as I have different plans for them, but they're very cool.

Round shields - Slight distortion of these pieces. They're a bit more oblong than they are round. Comes with a variety of Hellenic style patterns, and has a Space Marine styled hand on the back. Good for what I want them for, but the lack of uniformity is a bit annoying.

Alpha Troopers - These are just brilliant. Really fantastic poses, no bubbles and really sharp details. And as an added bonus they can be easily matched with Warzone's Capitol Light Troops and Airborne parts. Warzone's torso's are slightly longer, but that can be easily matched with padding if you so desire to swap around torso's and legs between the sets. I do wish the weapons were cast separately, as I want to put my own choice of weapons in their hands, but converting these miniatures shouldn't be too much of a problem. These bodies with Prodos Capitol Airborne heads and Statuesque Miniatures weapons will become my Ariadna Para-Commandos. The heads will go on the Prodos torsos and possibly the legs to make Ariadna Briscards. The backpacks from the Prodos Capital and Airborne troops also look to be able to fit if you do a bit of fiddling around, which is an added bonus!

Negatives - Their method of packing leaves a lot to be desired. My delicate troops were put in a smaller package inside a larger one which contained all my barricades and heavier pieces. It was well packed with bubble protection packages to fill it out, but if it hadn't of been, parts might have been broken in transit.

Another problem is that a lot of the figures were pre-cut off their sprues, some rather poorly, which has left parts which need to be greenstuffed in areas. Nothing major, but having them on the sprue from the beginning would have been nice.

Overall I am very happy with what I have received, and I will be definitely looking to place an order with them for one of the Trucks and possibly some other things too when they become available. As for now, I need to start work on these Alpha Troopers to get them looking way cool for my Ariadna force.

Those trucks are awesome maybe paint one as classic optimus prime.

What's the deal with the Pegasus? I can't find all the parts of it on their website, just a few variations.

I don't think I've seen all the individual parts offered, just the kits to build the various types

(you can't get individual bits for most of their other vehicles either, just a few bits and pieces)

if you're after odd bits try dropping them an email and see if they'll sell you them
