Any chance you would consider making a double sided map with Tales of Mars on one side, and Chem Zone on the other? You've got a lot of other cool ones, but none that has either of those.
As a mat-owner and gamer, I can't recommend this route personally. I know a lot of companies are jumping on the random sized mat bandwagon for stuff like Legion, but as a gamer....you can always use less-mat, but you can't magically add more. The Legion mats are 6'x3' etc. which is a bizarre shape. You're 100% better off getting a 6'x4' and just not using all of it. Same goes for Kill Team. You're throwing money away if you're buying an intentionally small mat which then can't be used for other things. Get a 4'x4' and just use less of it. I know many people who have purchased smaller or unique shaped mats and really regret it because the mat is still expensive but not versatile due to its size.

I concur and I imagine it will differ based on the utility and personal taste of the individual. I don't want to mark a larger mat with dice or whatever else to ring the area off, I think it looks ugly, I just want to plop down a mat that is the perfect size. My utility is such I can afford this, I imagine if I was balling on a budget yeah I'd just stick to bigger mats.

The weird not-quite 2 feet by not-quite-3 feet size is annoying. A simple 2x3 mat would be great.

This is absolutely correct. I absolutely do not want sweating beers on the mat, nor loose dice delineating the play area, or things getting shifted. When you're into a game's aesthetic, random dice or rulers marking edges just looks terrible. If you're masking off a game mat, might as well just play on a piece of plywood with masking tape - which is fine if that's fine with you. I could certainly take any of my 4x6 and mask off three playzones, but that would be ugly as sin.

It's already a luxury hobby. I buy faction and special dice and 40k card decks because of the aesthetic or convenience. I know guys who don't own their card decks and use old dice they've had for twenty years. They think me buying Thousand Sons dice or the Thousand Sons card deck, was a waste of money. Some of them think buying terrain is a waste of money.
For me, the aesthetic is a huge part of the game - so I much prefer to use a 22x30 mat with specific 40k terrain, instead of some other randomly sized mat with, like, a cottage and styrofoam hill and a clearanced aquarium piece.
Pre-painted? I'm guessing they aren't plastic then. Are the pipes and connection points on the tanks at least compatible with the stuff from Games Workshop?
I got the kill team mat, it's great. Want to get the chem zone mat, but not a fan of the yellow terrain. Will probably just get some industrial terrain and add to the chemzone mat.

It will consists of sci-fi industrial scenery (terrain) for 28-32mm wargaming and neoprene battle mat (play mat)
Project Necropolis, a black site project long abandoned and better off forgotten. Unspoken of for decades, it was yet another instance of mankind’s reach exceeding its grasp as Imperial scientists tampered with the very foundations of the universe in an attempt to create planetary warp gates.
They succeeded.
Claw marks scarred into the plasteel walls of the abandoned hab-blocks and twisting, labyrinthine service tunnels tell a story of brief, violent struggle. Half-finished experiments still writhe in containment caskets abandoned in the streets, and the grav-trains still trundle along their lonely routes, carrying nothing but angry ghosts and grim reminders of the costs when mankind plays at godhood.
This lonely testament to the price of success threatens to divulge its secrets to the galaxy as a distress beacon is activated, and it is only a matter of time before curiosity brings traders and treasure seekers down to the surface. In a desperate bid to keep Necropolis and its secrets buried, kill teams are dispatched to terminate the signal, and retrieve the data ark at the heart of the facility.
But there are things stirring in the dark, and not all that is buried is truly dead.
November Update: Our first ever MDF terrain, Campaign works and Necropolis expansions.
Years ago, we were so sure we would never go the way of MDF terrain. But of course, never say never! With the growing attendance of our own Warhammer 40k event - Prague Open 2019 - we realized that we needed an effective solution to cover lots of tables with quality terrain and minimal costs.
We studied all the needs of competitive gaming, considered the functionality of the products and consulted with the London GT management (we were the other bidder for the official LGT terrains, but we came too late in the bid). Now, we are proud to present you our first Tournament Terrain MDF set, fully pre-printed with coloured textures for a no hassle, no paint solution to your tournament needs! This set is HUGE and covers all the needs of a 6x4 foot competitive Warhammer 40 000 table with ease. Please bear in mind we are currently upgrading the printed texture of the set, and within weeks we will reveal much appealing looks.
We promised in previous posts we would be running a detailed, narrative campaign in a Necropolis setting, with lots of custom rules and narrative written by professional writer Alex Simon. We are still working on that! The concept and ideas are taking shape. The main course, the fantastic miniatures which will be part of the campaign, are just being painted for us at very high standard at Den of Imagination studio. We would like to give a big thanks for the hard work of this amazing painting studio.
But to be honest - we will be ready with all the needed models no earlier than end of January.
We are 90% sure we’ll be using the Necromunda system for that, as it allows really deep and customizable rule sets. We plan to include many vehicles, custom miniatures and missions, and then wrap all up it for you as a bundled campaign guide at the end. That way, we hope to inspire you to start your own campaign using the framework we’ve provided, and take the battle to the Necropolis yourselves!
We thought for a while about using the Kill Team system, but it seems to be much harder to tailor the rules to fit our custom narrative. Of course, if our fans enjoy our Necropolis campaign then we might revisit it with Kill Team rules as well.
On a final note, have a look at the fantastic 3D sculpt master-model for our upcoming Necropolis Portal. It is a true centrepiece for your table, around 30cm in diameter and 15cm in height. The portal offers plenty of space for placing miniatures on top so it can serve as a fortification in 40k, and plenty of line of sight cover for all other skirmish games like Kill Team and Necromunda. We hope to have this lovely piece in stock by end of January as well, and to include it in our campaign. After all, this portal was the great and terrible success that saw the Necropolis project abandoned!

You got a nice collection brewing, then! Consider the new Fallout Zone Objective Markers to try at some point. Altough, as they are printed to look like craters, they fit many different types of mats easily.

. Unfortunately in the UK, we don't have garden stores selling 6x4 folding tables for battle fields. The closest is 6x2ft ones so you would need two and have a gap in the middle.
My table and the tables all my friends have are 6'x2.5' tables. You get two, and you put something over it. There's no 'gap'.
I asked if anyone knew if there was a supplier who sold the gamemat.eu folding 6x4 one. As the is a gamemat.eu I don't think it was too unreasonable. (wasnt really fishing for unhelpful smart ass answers, Like: every ex-soviet greengrocers have them free with ration stamps.)

Gamemat EU tables look similar to the latest Alpha Game Tables. Perhaps they have a supply from them. or from the same manufacturer that supplies Alpha Game Tables. Urbanmatz also sells the same table.
But the Alpha Game Tables (at least the 1st Gen.) was also a wargaming specific project initially financed through an Indigogo. (and if they now also sell through gamemat, urbanmatz, etc.. hurray for an Indigogo launching a sustainable business!!)
These are not necessarily a stock camping tables, though if you find a camping table with the right dimensions, go for it.

I'd love to get all of this stuff too - but the shipping always stops me from clicking "order goods" on their site.
Forgeworld stuff doesn't weigh anything compared to a mat (around 7-9 lbs. and their terrain is (unfortunately) all heavy resin. Stuff is expensive to ship full-stop.
The only solution for US buyers would be setting up a shipping outlet in the states, but none of these companies are that big or able to do something like that. They could try to get a US retailer to carry their stuff, but then we'd have retailer mark-up and shipping is still expensive (anything over a pound is expensive in the US).
It feels like games such as Age of Sigmar and Kings of War are on the rise in popularity recently. We also enjoyed a game of the former on our holidays, and have heard good things about the latter.

We are working hard on a brand new terrain set to show you! Going forward we will do weekly updates of our progress on the new set. Today we present you a small ruin and a barricade. Something extra for you – in 3D printing menu in our webstore you can find the Barricade STL ready for your home printing! The rest of the set we do not plan to offer as STL files, but only as ready-to-play resin terrain set.

Fallout Zone terrain set: we've been working on a new piece called "bunker." It is one of the smaller pieces in the set (the big ones are coming soon! Next week we take a look at something special!

Our Badlands Set consisting of prepainted wargaming terrain was recently featured in an awesome looking setup for Star Wars: Legion, with thanks to William Wilson. Also featured are the Imperial -faction miniatures painted by Connor Marshall at CM Miniatures. Amazing table, and some of the photos basically look like a movie!
All proper hive cities should have its own vats and sewers! Through those toxic fluids and dead bodies are flowing. The main piece of our upcoming terrain set (available in August). This is our unpainted prototype. Miniature for scale purpose only. Next week we take a look at last piece and some full table renders.

I've been waiting for someone to make an Eldar Craftworld mat forever.
People have made good resin bases with typical Eldar aesthetic, it can't be hard to put that onto a table, especially if combined with grassland to give it an old, overgrown feel to it.

I'd appreciate if there was an option to get your terrain unpainted and somewhat cheaper. I like painting my own stuff and prepainting presumably increases to the production costs and thus the final price quite a bit.
Yeah the rocks really break up the border between the game mats and the terrain pieces. Really simple way to massively improve the look of a table, especially one that's going to be set up for a full day or weekend of play, where you don't mind the hassle of picking them up after!
Scorpion82 does build some of the best tables in 40K battle reports, I wish more groups did stuff like that. Scatter rocks and debris have always been nice on tables - they do screw up rolling dice pretty often, so having a tray on hand is good.
The Lost World is my favourite mat by Gamermat and it links up well with itself which gives me more options for my big tables. Here are 3 together for a big game of AoS coming up this Saturday.

When you first go to the sight it should ask where you're shipping to. There's a change region option in the upper right hand corner as well.
I've ordered in the past and honestly, the first time I considered it I balked on just the shipping cost. When I compared the total cost of the mat + shipping though, I found it was actually a little cheaper than other places I was looking to buy from.

I like the idea, and a train yard is a solid way to get some nice line-of-sight blocking terrain...but prepainted huge pieces of resin just end up being so pricey when combined with shipping. It's a neat product and if it was something I could pick up locally at a convention I'd consider it, but being in the US it's just too much.

I really don't get why they don't have cheaper unpainted versions. Frankly, the prepaint is not exactly great and even if it were I want to paint the stuff myself. So I am not gonna pay significant extra for a mediocre paint job I don't need.

Happy Easter! We have some surprise - we are working on a brand new terrain set, code name "rocky base".
A sci-fi military base hidden in the mountains.
Let's have a look at our progress in regular updates over next few days.
Let' start with Heliport.
Idea is to have this set go along nicely with our Badlands terrain and Fallout Zone terrain, possibly with the Hive Walls as well
Really excited for the Rocky Base as I have plans to do a Dark Angels themed "The Rock" table, using parts of the Fortress of Redemption scatered within rocks and some gun turrets, etc. This will help with the theme and go on my badlands mat that doesn't see much play.
We continue to work on the new "Rocky base" set (any cool tips for a set name? New additions are: missile tower and a blasted bunker (placed on removable crater).
Next will be 3D models of all pieces and then we start making the sets. They will be in stock around 15th June.

Our goal was to create a sci-fi military base incorporated within mountain range. A set which would go perfectly with our existing sets Badlands and Fallout Set. But of course could be mixed with any other sci-fi sets we offer. We like to match it with our battle mats: Fallout, Wastelands, Sands of Time, Lost World.
We love to play Warhammer 40 000, Kill Team, Horus Heresy and Necromunda. This terrain will add a great narrative to our games!
Here is our progress so far: from first sketches to renders, then to 3D printed prototypes and final painted product. We hope you will enjoy it!

Love the chem zone set 2, and the industrial set (well really i would just love to buy multiples of the main building and the 4 containers but i don't see a way to order the individual pieces separately).

G-Boards are now back in stock! White classic version in both sizes. Black improved version only in 6x4 size now.
We would like to explain also recent hike in prices on those tables - global shipping costs have spiked 600% in last 10 months and transport of tables cost now 6x more to be delivered from factory to us (and on tables it is most felt as they are really chunky cargo with the amounts we make).
We do not want to cry wolf, but given actual global situation the rise in other products might follow as soon we are restocked. Now there is a window of opportunity to grab our stuff in pre-orders at current pricing before 15th November restock.
Not only transport costs, but also input materials costs are on the steep rise...
