Too true there - the Egyptians are fantastic looking!

I'm still hoping for an eventual ANUBIS Avatar, or maybe a HORUS of something!

It also makes you wonder how awesome the eventual Atlanteans are going to be too...

Update time!

Update #94

May 6 2017
Rozzer Arrives & Exclusive Cards

Hi Backers!

Time for another update! This time we'll take a look at the final sculpt for Rozzer, the cunning and stealthy Urkin and we'll also look at the four Kickstarter Exclusive Cards you will all receive as part of your bonuses from the Stretch Goals we hit.

Rozzer

Rozzer is a pair of Urkin who get abou the streets and alleys of Twisted London disguised as a policeman to scout for Bill Psyches and find new marks for the depradations of their less cunning kin.

Sculpted. once again, by Lux Thantor this awesome miniature really captures the chaotic nature of the Urkin - you can really see this guy wobbling down the street doing his level best to stay inconspicuous.

I particularly like the way the top Urkin holding his hat on as he staggers, holding his hand out and trying to be all authoratitive! The little whistle poking out of his mask is also a lovely touch.

You can also see the lower of the two Urkin has deployed his pistol on a kind of mechanical arrangement to shoot at someone who has strayed a bit too close.

At his belt are a pair of handcuffs. I'm not quite certain whether these are just for show or maybe used to restrain some poor soul he (or perhaps more correctly they) feel Nancy might be interested in.

Rozzer is a useful addition to your Dickensians force and adds just a little stealth to your Company and for a few extra points is well used to foil the plans of those interfering Servants of The Engine!

Kickstarter Exclusive Cards

During the Kickstarter we achieved a stretch goal that gives all backers who spent over $100 two extra Alchemancy and Eye of The Engine Cards. Here is a preview of what you will receive:

Alchemancy Cards

These two Invocations are Power 3, which makes them amongst the more powerful Invocations available (Power 4 being highest).

Hotbed is a kind of "area denial" Invocation and can help to secure one of your flanks or block your opponent's line of advance.

Beneficial Bond is useful to boost an ally at a critical moment but should be used with care as it does rather harm the Alchemancer who calls it!

Eye of The Engine Cards

The two cards add to your Eye of The Engine Deck giving you even more options to foil your opponent.

Lacklustre reduces the base dice rolls of the Character it is played upon. This is particularly important where D20 rolls are involved as it then makes rolls of up to 3 effectively 1's! It also reduces damage and is a rather severe impediment for the turn to any Character it is played upon.

Deflection is an interesting card. It allows you to pass damage taken off to another Character nearby but you have no control over who receives the damage. It can save an important Character but care must be taken to ensure not too many allies are in the area (unless you are Bill Psyches or an Urkin - neither of whom would really give a monkeys...)

Shipping Update on the Forum

As you know we have now launched our official Forum:

http://forum.dementedgames.com

We'd really love to see all of you there. You can download the electronic files for the rules and chat directly with Sebastian and I. We are really keen to interact with you all as much as we can.

Update time!

Last chance for Wave 1 changes and Late Pledges!

June 1 deadline for that...

Update #95

May 18 2017
An exciting arrival, and June 1 deadline to finalise your details

Hi everyone,

Look what has arrived! These are the pallets of Twisted Rulebook Box sets - you can see me here wheeling them in to our Kickstarter packing room, ready for action. Each of the cardboard boxes contains 10 Twisted Rulebook Boxes - pretty cool!

This week I have been collating and packing Character and Activation cards for the Dickensians and Servants of the Engine Faction Boxes. Packing is going well: there is a lot of preparation work to do to put together the Faction Boxes with all those cards and miniatures, but I've been working very hard at it and making good progress. We're on track!

Final Deadline to update your details is June 1!

The deadline to finalise your Kickstarter reward details in the Pledge Manager is June 1. On June 1 we need to completely lock and close the Pledge Manager so that we can pack all of your rewards and start to address your boxes for shipping!

The Twisted Pledge Manager is open for 2 more weeks: this is your last chance to update and finalise your details in the Pledge Manager:

Update your shipping address details
Pay any outstanding amount
Add any cheeky last minute extras!

This is very important: after June 1, if you have not finalised your Kickstarter pledge details we cannot guarantee you will receive your rewards. We are doing our best to chase up everyone but there are still a few people out there who have not given us shipping details.

We have unlocked the Pledge Manager until June 1 to allow you free access to complete your rewards. After that, Wave 1 will be completely closed. (You will be able to update your details again before Wave 2 shipping)

Access the Twisted Pledge Manager here:

https://dementedgames.pledgemanager.com/projects/twisted-steampunk/

Or here for new (last minute!) backers to participate:

https://dementedgames.pledgemanager.com/projects/twisted-steampunk/participate/

Thanks everyone - it's very exciting to be getting so close!

--------------

We'll keep you updated regularly with our progress on the packing. It's a mammoth task but I have been working like crazy over the last few weeks, and things are coming along nicely. The main job is packing up all the miniatures into the Faction Box sets - there are thousands and thousands of multi-part miniatures to individually pack before I can assemble to Faction Boxes, but I'm almost there

It is crazy and kind of cool to see all these miniatures exploding out of boxes everywhere I look: it makes me realise how much wonderful support we've had from all of you, our backers! I am so excited to be shipping out the boxes soon, it is going to be quite a thrill and I am sure you will love what we have been able to produce with your help.

We'll keep you posted!

Update #98

Rewards packing update - making great progress!

Greetings everyone,

Time for a quick packing update - it's controlled chaos right now but we are making great progress! (I think the pics below give a pretty good snapshot of what has been happening: boxes, boxes, everywhere!)

You might have noticed that Peter and I have been a bit quieter than usual on the Twisted Forum and Facebook over the past few weeks: that's because we have been concentrating all our efforts on packing your Kickstarter rewards. I have been working really, really hard on it for the last month or so, and I've managed to finish packing all the Faction Boxes, plus the last of the terrain has now arrived. So we now have everything we need in it's 'final product' state in order to pack your final Rewards boxes!

You can see some of the action in these photos, as I've been filling up our storage space with all the completed goodies ready to pack your boxes (with a little help from Erika!). It's amazing to see how much STUFF we've managed to produce, with your help - thank you all again for the support in allowing us to create the world of Twisted!

I'll keep you updated on the progress

-sebastian

Above: Rule book box sets (there are 5 pallets of these!)

Above: My car jammed with packing boxes!

Above: Box sets of miniatures. They are just being stored in the DHL bags - they didn't come in them :-)

Above and below: Our storage unit is rapidly filling! In the next week or so it will empty out as the rewards make their way to all of you!

Remember - if you have any questions you can always reach us through the forum:
http://forum.dementedgames.com
or email us: sales@dementedgames.com

We'll get back to you as quickly as we can.

Peter and I are both very excited for you all to get your Twisted stuff and we can't wait to see it being played! Not long now!

Update #99

Jul 5 2017

Boxes, Boxes Everywhere

Packing Update

Hi Backers!

Sebastian and I have almost wrapped up packing for all the Wave 1 Pledge Rewards! For the last few weeks we've been going full steam on packing the miniatures into the Faction Boxes and sorting everything out in readiness for this final push - we're almost there

Everything from Wave 1 is just about ready to be loaded onto the pallets and picked up for freight to the fulfilment centres. (see below for a list of Wave 2 items that will be shipped later)

One of the Packing Benches

An Insight into the Packing Process

There were great stacks of material to organise in preparation for boxing up! Each of your Pledges is downloaded from the Pledge Manager, printed out and used as a packing list for your order. Once your box is loaded and sealed a delivery label is attached with your name and address on it, and the box is moved into the stack for the appropriate country.

Here's a pic of Sebastian hard at work and apparently calling on the powers of the Air Element to speed himself up a bit!

Unfortunately he rolls a 1 on his Alchemancy check and the Invocation backfires - simply making him blurry...

The Faction Box sets have turned out really well and we are so pleased with how the packaging looks. You can see a small fraction of them here, stacked in great yellow bags ready for packing!

Here's how the excellent Twisted Terrain by Miniature Scenery was stacked up in preparation for boxing. We spread it out neatly in small piles for easy picking and packing. Imagine the fantastically epic table you could make with this lot! (and judging by some of your orders more than a few of you will have awesome tables very soon!)

The room at the start of the process was a bit of a chaotic place exploding with Twisted miniatures and terrain! But as things shuffled from their individual boxes into your packed pledges things started to come together very nicely.

Here is Sebastian loading the last of the UK Pledges into the stack. Behind him is the stack of Europe Pledges!

Here's a pic of me leaning on the US Pledge pile (some say leaning is my superpower...)

This week will be consumed by packing the Australian Pledges and sorting out the odd order that is a bit curly one way or another.

From here we're loading all these boxes onto pallets for shipment to our distribution partners in the UK and US. EU parcels will ship from the UK. Australia/New Zealand and Asia orders will ship directly from Sydney. We'll let you know the expected dates for arrival as soon as we have shipping locked in and we know exactly which ships the stuff will be on.

-

Which products are is shipping in Wave 1? What is Wave 2?

This first shipment is Wave 1 only. If you ordered any Wave 2 material it will ship later, once manufacturing is complete. We'll have dates on that in the coming months.

Wave 2 consists of:

The Egyptians Box Sets and all Egyptians resin miniatures
The Guild of Harmony Box Set and all Guild of Harmony resin miniatures: Monkey, Tzandi, Pigsty, Tricia Harker, Vinnie (resin and metal)
Dickensians Wave 2: Ratcatcha, Dawg & Flea, Rozzer, Shrike
Servant Wave 2: Gentlefolk Miner, Sgt Clark, 54mm Launcelot
Wave 1 is everything else! Note that ALL current terrain is Wave 1.

Due to the incredibly hard work by Tim & Craig at Miniature Scenery all terrain has shipped in Wave 1 including late additions like Abbott & Gillard, The Assay Office and the Fences.

Remember if you have any problems or questions please email us: sales@dementedgames.com

You can also join us on the Twisted Forum: http://forum.dementedgames.com

We will be posting all sorts of goodies on the Twisted Forum in the coming months so please keep an eye on it!

That's it for now. We are both so excited that we are nearly there and we really do look forward to you all getting your orders and starting your journey into Twisted!

Cheers, Pete

Wave 1 Rewards now sailing the high seas - new post-KS Character teasers!

Hi everyone,

It's high time for an exciting update: all the international Twisted Wave 1 Rewards boxes are being loaded onto ships as we speak! Your boxes of goodies have now started their journey across the ocean to the fulfilment centres in the UK and USA. Fingers crossed that they don't encounter any steam krakens along the way, as they sail the high seas!

It was a mammoth task finishing all the packing and we're very happy to have finally made it. Thank you all again for being so patient while we finalised everything. Peter and I have been absolutely determined to make sure everything is correct, and we are thrilled with the quality of the Kickstarter Rewards.

Here are some photos of the finished pallets of Twisted Rewards boxes:

Erika helped me pack and shift the pallets

Blurry pic of me amongst it all!

And here are the pallets of Rewards boxes getting loaded onto the truck last week, to be taken to the port:

Fare thee well, sweet boxes...and good luck!

Off to sail the high seas
The freight ships are leaving from Sydney, Australia and are scheduled to make port in September, so we'll keep you posted as soon as everything arrives.

If you're closer to home here in Australia, we're finishing off the packing for all of your Rewards right now - we're almost there. If you chose local pick-up, we'll be announcing the dates and locations soon. If you chose for your Rewards to be shipped to you, sit tight - it won't be too much longer. (If you're an Australian backer and need to swap your delivery method, just shoot us an email and we can work it out - not a problem).

Twisted post-KS!

We couldn't let Update 100 go by without some even more exciting stuff to show you so now it's time to move on to something a bit more fun! As you know, all the miniatures for the Kickstarter Wave 2 are complete, and are currently in production as we work towards fulfilling all your remaining Rewards. We're working very hard on that and will continue to do so in the coming months: fulfilling Wave 2 and finalising all the Kickstarter Rewards is the main priority for us.

However, Peter and I are both very serious about Twisted continuing to grow and expand beyond the Kickstarter. As well as creating new Factions, we are keen to make sure the existing Factions are supported with new and wonderful characters as we move forward.

With this in mind, we thought it might be nice to start teasing you with some first little glimpses of Twisted post-Kickstarter!

This image shows small portions of finished concept art for all the existing factions and, rather excitingly, a small hint at the Atlanteans (who are currently in development).
We can't wait to show you some of the really cool stuff we have coming in the future, more miniatures, more terrain and, perhaps most importantly, more fun!

We thank you again for your patience and look forward to you all receiving your Pledges.

Seb and Pete

Update time - and it is a good one!

Update #101

Aug 13 2017
Delving Into Egypt

Hi Backers!

Time for another update. This time I though you might like to see the work we are doing on the rules for the Egyptians.

It is the Canopic Jars that make the Egyptians play so differently to any of the other Factions. They can impart great power to your Characters but using them is not without risk. Read on to find out a little more about how the jars will work.

Please bear in mind this are still WIP rules and are undergoing playtesting so some details may well change before they are published. I've also left a lot of detail out - these rules cover 4 pages in the book...

Canopic Jars

Carter and Indigo find the Canopic Jars

Each living member of Carter’s expedition team bears a Canopic Jar taken from the great canopic chamber in the temple of Set built by Senusret (more about him later).

The initial intrusion into the chamber caused the Node to activate and with the surge in activity the sentient spirits in the held in the Node saw the chance to live again. Each of them occupied one of the Canopic Jars present and called to a living host, bonding with them using tendrils similar to those the Node itself generated.

It is through this connection that the spirits move out into the world, living a kind of parasitic half life. They are able to perceive a kind of shadowy, ethereal version of reality through their hosts.

The host can try to access the spirit inhabiting the Canopic Jar, harnessing their skills and talents for their own ends. This is not without risk as the spirit of the inhabitant of the jar is often powerful and desiring of nothing more than taking full control of the host to truly live again. It becomes a battle of wills, the host trying to keep the spirit subdued whilst the essence of the ancient being tries to rise.

The strong of mind can keep the spirit contained but times of stress or a momentary lack of concentration can allow the personality in the jar to take control.

The Canopic Jars carried by the members of Carter’s team are not occupied by any given essence. They are links to a pool of spirits held in the Node and it is only when the jar is accessed that the owner knows which spirit is resident at that moment in time.

How the Canopic Jars work in-game.

When you start a game of Twisted and you are playing the Egyptians you will have a deck of Canopic Jar Cards - this is the "Canopic Deck". There will be around 20 different cards in a full deck and, at this stage you will get 10 in each of the box sets of Egyptians.

These cards are shuffled and placed face down on the table.

Any Egyptian Character who has the Canopic Jar Special Ability can choose to try and access their Jar during their Activation. This is not an Action but must be tried at the start of their Activation.

Let's have a look at a Canopic Jar Card.

Each of the cards represents one of the ancient personalities held in the spirit pool of the Node of The Engine and each card gives different bonuses and provides different special abilities. Each personality also comes with its own drawbacks.

Accessing a Canopic Jar

In order to benefit from their Canopic Jar a Character must first Access the Jar. When a Character declares this intention the top card from the Canopic Deck is turned over and this is the spirit currently available to the host.

A Difficulty is printed on the card with a Characteristic noted after it in brackets. This is the Difficulty of Accessing the Jar and the relevant Characteristic for the check. In Nebetah's case the Difficulty is 13 and a Characters Finesse is used as the modifier to the D20 roll.

Should you equal or beat the required number the personality in the Canopic Jar is Accessed and all the benefits (and other effects) apply immediately.

The Card

The card gives a brief rundown on the personality and lists the Characteristic Changes he or she provides to their host. In this case Nebetah increases a Character's Speed, Close Combat Attack and Alchemancy scores.

You can also see a note regarding the Special Abilities she provides. There are three listed but the (2) next to the heading means that when Nebetah is accessed the Character may select only two of the three. Once selected these cannot be changed.

Accessing a Canopic Jar is not without a downside. The spirits in the Jar will always affect the Character in some way, their personality and desired melding with that of the host. In Nebetah's case the host may not disengage from Close Combat whilst Accessing the jar. Nebetah loves bloodshed!

This brings us to the next important area of the Canopic Jars...

Dominance

The longer a Character remains connected to their Canopic Jar, the more the personality in the jar becomes enmeshed in their psyche and the more likely it is that the spirit in the jar overcomes that of the host.

The base Difficulty to Disconnect from a Canopic Jar is printed on the card and, as before, the relevant Characteristic for the check is also shown.

Beneath that you see a series of check boxes, some with numbers underneath them and, importantly, the last one is red (and we all know red is bad!). One of these boxes is marked off each maintenance phase after a Character connects to a Canopic Jar.

The personalities in the jars want nothing more than to possess their host and live again, even that kind of half life is better than their existence in the spirit world. Each Maintenance phase the host must make a check vs the Difficulty shown, applying the penalties for being connected for multiple turns.

Should a Character remain connected to their Canopic Jar and reach the red box they are automatically Dominated. Once a Character has been Dominated then the rule printed below Dominance comes into play as the personality in the Jar takes hold.

Disconnecting

If a Character is not yet Dominated he or she may disconnect from the Canopic Jar during their Activation. This is not an Action.

If the Character has been Dominated then the Dominance Check must be made and, if successful the Character may disconnect. This process will leave him or her Stunned however!

When you disconnect from a Canopic Jar the Canopic Card is returned to the Canopic Deck and the deck is shuffled. If the Character then accesses his or her Canopic Jar again a new card, with a new personality, is drawn.

Indigo falls afoul of Nebetah's willpower!

As you can see above Indigo has failed her Dominance check (note the "D" marked on the card). She now must move to engage in Close Combat to the exclusion of all else! Not so bad for a Character like Indigo who is a good fighter but for an Alchemancer it might be a very different story! In either case though it does rather limit the tactical flexibility of the Character connected to the Jar.

I hope you found this update interesting. If you have any questions or comments feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer.

UK and EU (Europe): The cargo ship is still steaming away towards the UK and should make port by mid-September. We've organised with our distribution partner in the UK to ship out your boxes as fast as possible once they've arrived, so we'll let you know as soon as that happens!

Other International backers: Your Rewards boxes have now been packed and are ready to be shipped along with the Australian boxes, very soon. Boxes will be shipped via DHL Global Mail.

Australia: I'm finishing off the last of the Australian packing and we should be processing them for shipment very soon - I'm hoping Australian backers will receive their Twisted Rewards by mid-September. We will let everyone know the moment your individual Rewards boxes have shipped from the fulfilment centres - it won't be long, now!

Pascal du Lyon: one of our CREATOR characters!

While we're waiting for all of your Twisted goodies to arrive, Peter and I thought you might like to see one of the new characters we've been working on: Pascal du Lyon!

Pascal du Lyon was developed by working with Peter Lyons, one of our CREATOR level backers from the Twisted Kickstarter! As one of our CREATOR backers, Peter Lyons was able to choose his own idea for a new character to add to Twisted. We then worked together with Peter to develop the idea and backstory for his character, create the concept artwork with one of our artists Nicolas Amoroso, and then sculpt the miniature itself!

Pascal du Lyon - final concept
.

Here are some words from our CREATOR backer Peter Lyons about developing Pascal:

Why back Twisted?

I remember first seeing the Twisted models and instantly having a rush of nostalgia. Ollyver Twist was always a favourite and it was crazy the way steampunk was bringing new life into the characters. During the Twisted Kickstarter campaign I used to wake up each morning and check if we had hit another stretch goal to see what childhood character had been given the treatment next - Vinnie Jones and Tinkerbell blew me away. I remember hoping for a steampunk King Kong, Yu-Gi-Oh / Gambit or Tarzan and Jane. Half way through the campaign I took the plunge and upgrade to the CREATOR level and have not had a regret since.

Working with the Twisted Team:

The process has been an absolute pleasure. It started with me sending off some keywords and a couple of google images, the a back and fourth conversation narrowed it down to 4-5 key design ideas (I have to give Peter Overton credit for the still). This led to some rough sketches that we again debated before a final concept was decided upon. Fast forward to Cancon 2017 and the pose debate started! There were 6 options with each having their own merits, I went against the grain and made the guys lock in the pose I wanted, I just loved the nonchalant gun in hand and the staggered legs. As a few brews were shared at Cancon and the WIP sculpt shots started flooding in, it was clear everyone was really happy.

Why Pascal?

Prior to being contacted by Peter Overton my plans chopped and changed hourly. I eventually reasoned that if I am this committed I may try to 'embody' myself within the miniature and become part of the Twisted world. So what defines me as a war gamer...? A lot of acting the fool (and occasional trolling), alcohol and a love of RNG (Egg of Quango life). In a nutshell, Pascal's lore follows the lines of 'was loved and famous --> mucked up --> now the butt of jokes and living life as a jester'. The lionskin cloak in my opinion is a really good representation of a once proud beast striped back into tatter - fittingly my last name is also Lyons. The back mounted alcoholic still is where this model really encompasses his steampunk elements: effectively nobles could bring Pascal along on a hunt, carting him along as their personal drinks bar (Pascal may or may not sneak some drinks in himself!) His necklace represents my better half wanting a say, and the gun just seemed like a good mode to translate his Ranged Attack elements onto the table top: A highly volatile and unreliable gun being fired by a highly intoxicated man.

Would I do it again? Absolutely!

Check out these WIP photos of the concept art to show how Pascal's character was developed:

An early sketch by Peter Overton, to nail down the basic idea and story for the character

Early thumbnails by Nicolas as we started developing the concept proper

A rough sketch stage before the final concept

In the next update we'll show you the finished sculpted miniature for Pascal du Lyon!

The next update is here!

Update #103

Sep 19 2017

Wave 1 shipping status update, and the Pascal sculpt revealed!

Wave 1 Shipping status report:

Australia: The first big batch of boxes was shipped yesterday (Monday), and tomorrow I'm planning to ship the second big batch/all remaining Australian orders! This means some of you should already be receiving your Rewards boxes, and all the Australian boxes should have arrived by the end of next week (fingers crossed!).
UK/EU: The ship has made port and the Twisted pallets are due for delivery to the fulfilment centre in the UK. They're aiming to ship out your boxes by next week!
USA/Canada: The Twisted pallets were delayed in customs but we're chasing it up and they should be delivered to the fulfilment centre any day now. As soon as the pallets have arrived the North American boxes will be shipped out straight away.
Rest of World: I've shipped about half of the other international orders, and all the rest (including the really big ones!) should be shipped out in the next couple of days.

Pascal du Lyon sculpt!

Last update I showed you the concept art for a Pascal du Lyon, a new character developed together with Peter Lyons, one of our CREATOR level backers for Twisted.

Check out the amazing job Lux Thantor has done sculpting the miniature for Pascal! I think this one is brilliant - maybe Lux's best yet for Twisted. He captured the unsteady-yet-arrogant drunken pose perfectly, and really got that rage and angst into the face. It's a beautifully executed piece, very faithful to the concept art, and also looks like a real blast to paint - I can't wait to have a crack at it myself!

I swung into Mind Games in Melbourne on Monday, after having to miss the demo day on Sat, to see what was what. The starter kits look awesome. I would have picked up a Dickensian starter box then, but my paint queue is huge and I was todl they'd be getting more in anyway.

Still, going to have to pull my finger out and get to a demo day.

Terrain Instructions

As people are now starting to get their stuff it's time to get the instructions for the kits to you. We are still finishing off some of them but you can fid what's ready here:

If you have any problems or questions on the kits please ask us here or send an email to: sales@dementedgames.com.au

Sorry they are not all ready at once - some kind of critical file problem at Miniature Scenery's end ops: Shouldn't be too long though.

My shipment showed up yesterday (I was a late backer). It's the two Servants of the Engine boxes, the two Dickensian boxes, the rulebook box and the bases I ordered.

I haven't had a chance to go through it in detail yet, other than a quick look in one of the Servants boxes - the minis look great! The rulebook is also nice, seems designed to lay flat.

...?!?

How much terrain did you get?!?

(Totally jealous, as that would appear to be "a lot"! )

My box came in at 17 lbs w/ 4 metal starter boxes and No. 42 Carver Lane (Deluxe), 2 x Old Corner Shop, 2 x Twisted Staircase, Nouveau Archway, Twisted Walkway, 2 x Roof Tiles, Streetlamps, Abbot & Gillard Moneylenders, The Assay Office, Staircase Stepper and Add-On Details.

And I want a lot more terrain...

Can't wait to see what new stuff they come up with too...

I'm thinking of adding in other companies' Steampunk terrain too, for variety. But if they come up with more new stuff relatively quickly, I can see keeping it all with them too.

2 streetlamps, 2 walkways, 3 staircases, 2 archways, moneylenders, assay office, 3 corner shops, 4 carver lanes and enough roof tiles for the lot.

My game arrived unexpectedly (as I backed for the Egyptians I wasn't expecting anything until they were done)

the UK fulfilment is coming via Wayland Games who are sending it by UK mail so when I got an email from them about an 'order' arriving which I wasn't expecting I initially thought it was a phishing attempt

but no (I checked with wayland and they were quick to reassure me it was a real delivery) it was steampunk goodies and a box of freebie sculpts and cards

Facebook is a horrible place to try and carry on a conversation, or follow one that's in progress, or finding one from a while ago, etc.

I'm pretty sure the downloadable rulebooks are free, but I don't play so I don't know if they're a streamlined version or not.

For anyone interested, the rulebooks can be found here:-

I'm sure I won't. Peter told me when Iw as jokingly trying to get DG to buy the Confrontation licence that he took some inspirateion for Twisted rule from Confrontation, and having a proper read of the rules I see it. The activation, shooting, magic and wouding mechanics all share quite a lot with it, which is not bad thing. The game as a whole looks like a lot of fun, but what really got me was the lore and the models.

I thought I was going to be all for the Dickensians (hence the two boxes), but reading up now I think I'm more for the Servants.

Luckily the game is still small enough I can collect and paint most things without feeling like I missing anything.

For the picture, it does look like it. The hanging jaw and the crossed, shuffling feet suggest that, but the rest of the image looks human. It does seem to be just a sketch though, so I'm trying to read too much into it.

In a podcast interview DG (could have been coastalcon) Peter also mentioned he was working on some 'big' models. No more info other than that, though.

Wasn't "Guild of Harmony" a separate miniatures maker? They made steampunk versions of Mary Poppins, Tinkerbelle, and Alice. Have they been integrated into the Twisted game as their own faction?

One of the DG team started out making a range called the Guild of Harmony, which they integrated into Twisted when they formed Demented Games and made Twisted.

And yep, they're they own faction called The Guild of Harmony.

Indeed!

New Kickstarter - Twisted's Monstrous Marvels - launching September 17!

September 14, 2020

Ahoy there from the Antipodes. News on the wind is that Twisted is growing!

You were very generous in helping us get started with the Twisted: A Steampunk Miniature Game Kickstarter back in 2016.

Your wonderful support meant that we were able to deliver successfully on the original campaign, and we will always be very grateful for your help in making Twisted come to life. We have been growing and expanding the Twisted universe ever since.

Now a new chapter dawns for Twisted!

We are running another Kickstarter to help launch a brand new series of large monster characters for Twisted - Twisted's Monstrous Marvels!

Twisted's Monstrous Marvels Kickstarter launches this Thursday, September 17. We'd love to see you again in the world of Twisted!

Best wishes from Australia - we hope you are all staying safe and well during the COVID-19 crisis.

Peter and Sebastian

Really looking forward to this one!

Their game is great - and ever since Confrontation and Dark Age went away, this system is one of the best/most fun out there - and the miniatures are absolutely stunning too!

Someone already asked in the Kickstarter comments, the answer was no, they're just too big and expensive to make in metal.

Yeah, apparently some are nearing the old (but not that old!) GW Landspeeder amounts of metal?

Spoiler:

I had that thing - it was *heavy*!

Also, they're saying that they've got a new and improved resin in play here now.

I'm interested to see how improved, as I went mostly metal last time around because these are gaming pieces for me.

I grudgingly switched to resin after going all metal in the first Kickstarter (I'd picked up some of their resin releases from before that, and they were horrifyingly fragile), and the new stuff is pretty awesome.
It has quite a bit of flex to it which is great for someone as clumsy and ham-fisted as me!

Our new resin is quite tough - even better our caster will add strength where he can - if anyone has a resin Jack'O the Urkin you may have noted there is metal wire cast inside his gun barrels to make the harder to snap off.
I'm confident these big guys in resin will be fine for gaming :-)

Apologies for reviving such an old and dusty thread, but I wasn't sure if it deserved a new one yet!

Anyways, after being a bit quiet for far too long, news:-

Greetings Minions of The Engine!
2022 was a bit of a challenging year for us here at Demented Games. We had a rather drawn out trial of using the new Siocast material for our miniatures. It, sadly, proved not to be a viable option for a few reasons.
The good news of that is that we now have a number of Characters we intended for 2022 built up and some of them have now been remastered into our usual high quality metal from Eureka.
The should start to release early in the year and we have other some exciting plans for 2023.
Anyway - it's the holidays - so best wishes to you all from Seb and I and we hope you have a lovely time with family and friends.
We are excited to get the Twisted Steamtrain running again next year!
Cheers
Pete

I know they were showing off a few previews earlier in the year (I distinctly remember an Edgar Allen Poe with mechanical bird legs), but I can't find them now.
Still, excited to hear they're going to start releasing stuff again, I was beginning to wonder if the game had died like a lot of these little skirmish games tend to do.

Apologies for once again reviving this thread after way too long, plus it's not great news this time.

Basically, after a lot of silence again I gave them a poke and they put out this update:-

What's happening with Twisted?
It has been a long time without news and I owe you an explanation, so here is an official post from me, Sebastian.
I have always been solely responsible for the day-to-day running of Twisted. However, since the birth of my daughter 2.5 years ago I haven't been able to spend enough time developing the new characters and game. This is the reason why there has not been any news lately and Twisted has been in a holding pattern.
I was hoping to find my way back to full steam after this hiatus but so far this has not happened. This isn't fair to Twisted and all of you wonderful supporters, so I have been looking for a way to keep Twisted chugging along under new leadership. I have yet to find someone to take Twisted on board but I am confident things will turn out well.
I am very proud of the incredible miniatures and world we have created with Twisted, and I am certain Twisted deserves continuing development. It has so many more places to go, so I am confident Twisted can be given new life and brought to even greater heights moving forward.
Just to emphasise: nothing has changed right now and I am still here filling your Twisted orders! It is just the further development of Twisted that is in stasis at the moment.
Thanks for understanding, my friends. I sincerely appreciate all the wonderful support you have given Twisted over the years. Your amazing generosity has enabled us to bring Twisted this far. I hope I can share some great news soon for Twisted!
Sebastian

Without going all "Conspiracy Theorist", I wouldn't be surprised if there's more to it than that. Plus one of the major draws of this range for me was the Seb Archer sculpted minis, so even if it does end up in some else's hands I probably won't be interested.
While there are apparently some unreleased minis that they might put out at some point, I think it's safe to say that the dream is over.

Yup... I had practically no hobby time for at least the first two years after my first daughter was born. If he's running Twisted as a sideline to his day job, I can absolutely believe that he's just not had time for it.

Here's hoping the game gets picked up by someone with the will and resources to do it justice!

Once again I drag this thread from the void...

Good news everybody! The game is under new ownership:-

Greetings fans and followers of Twisted - EXCITING NEWS!

We are pleased to announce that Twisted is moving forward under the new ownership of Derek Osborne in the USA. Derek is an industry veteran with many years of experience, and is superbly positioned to take Twisted to new heights. Peter and I are really looking forward to seeing where the game and world we created can go, in the capable hands of a gentleman with the talents and passion of Derek.

What does this mean for you – our valued fans and customers?
There will be a short hiatus while we ship stock to the USA and Derek gears up for production. The webstore will go offline briefly as this transition is underway. Derek has some brand new Twisted miniatures in hand that are already prepared for release, so Twisted will soon be off to a flying new start. Peter will be staying on with Derek to help with concepts, worldbuilding and rules when needed so the unique feel of Twisted will remain, but with Derek’s stamp on it and his industry experience to make the game grow. I trust you find this news as exciting as we do and that you will continue to support Derek and his team as we bring you even more Twisted goodies in the coming months.

So with that, please welcome Derek – the new architect of The Engine!

Thanks so much for your support over the years, everyone.

Sincerely,
Sebastian

I want to see what direction the mini design goes in, without Seb Archer doing the sculpting, before I get too excited but this sounds pretty positive overall.

It's been a mix of his and other sculptors' work for some time now, and they've done a pretty good job of maintaining consistency, so I think it will be fine in that regard if the new owner keeps using the same sculptors.

Had another update on where Twisted is heading:-

Greetings Dickensians, Servants, Scions, Guildies and Gentlefolk.
It is time for a way overdue update. My sincere apologies for the span of time between the announcement and this post, but I did want to wait until everything had crossed the great expanse of water between the Spirit Lands of Australia and the Free Colonies of the Americas.
That time is here as I have been notified that stock has landed portside and is being processed for transport to my local nodestation. I expect to have hands on it in the next couple of weeks. Once that happens, I will get a complete inventory done, a small production order in place for new metals and the website/store back online.
As stated over on the Twisted Talk Discord server, I have had a full set of masters sent out to be scanned. This was for two reasons, first to address any concerns with model fatigue and weak joins/failure points. Second as a small production company, this allows us to move to a printed production set up like that of GCT Studios for Bushido. No, I do not have plans to release STL's.
Now...where to start with what's been happening the last few months...how about we start with Mercenaries?
Mercenaries? You mean the Guild of Harmony working for other factions right? No...I'll address the GoH in a minute. I mean Mercs...tried and true Mercs. We've got a number of new teams ready to hire themselves out and take on some of those tasks that you may not want to talk about...or you might just be short handed this week. These teams also come with their own agendas and can most definitely be used as a stand alone Company. That means new rules and abilities of course, so some balance testing will be in order as we get further into development. Anyone interested in testing?
Speaking of rules, as you all should know already, yes, there will be a second edition, what we've been calling T2E for now, but if you all follow MERCS or any of the other projects I've directed, you'll know that I do prefer to name editions, so that will happen soon, maybe we'll have a contest for that when we drop some more info on contents.
Faction updates:
So, what's happening with your favorite faction?
The Dickensians - A new Company will arrive with the first update and crowdfunding campaign, Nancy's been all sorts of busy, and 2TE will see not only a huge Twist in her character, her storyline and her future, but she's also responsible for the Company in question. Any thoughts on who we're going to see?
Servants of the Engine - Exciting Twists and turns for many of the characters you've come to know and love who Serve so faithfully...or against their will. Another new Company on the horizon will find a new fanatical team of Servants who only see the pathway of puritanical loyalty to the ideals of safeguarding the Secrets of The Engine.
Scions of the Sands - As our treasure hunters have recently returned to London, we find Indigo Ford still in Egypt awaiting the arrival of Carter's assistant and junior archeologist. What possibly could they be looking for? Carter in turn has uncovered record of an ancient source of information and will stop at nothing to get his hands on it.
Guild of Harmony - The Guild will see a number of it's Companies expanded in the new lore. As Dorothy comes to grips with her new found youth, and we uncover why the Monkey is headed west. With the events surrounding Dorothy's transformation, we'll see a number of changes to the Guild, both in lore and gameplay as they react and adjust to the unpredictable power of The Engine.
Partner updates:
I have been able to secure partnerships with a number of wonderful companies to provide you all with new game aids.
My good friend Alex over at Mats by Mars will be producing game mats with a Twisted theme, we're in works to get these designs completed by the end of the year, look for them at AdeptiCon next year.
My buddy Jay of Warsen.al fame will be producing acrylic templates and counters, which will be available soon. I've got photos of the prototype set (which is on the way for approvals) and they look amazing. You should be able to get your hands on these soon™.
I have been looking into various options for Twisted Terrain as well, no news to report yet, but I'm hopeful to have some before the crowdfunding campaign.
And speaking of crowdfunding...what's the plan there Oz? Well, it's pretty simple, the new boxes for the Dickensians and the Servants are about 80% complete, the concepts for the Mercenaries that will be part of the campaign are also nearly complete, so we'll need models for those, and the plan for the new rulebook is to have a true coffee table style collectors tomb with lots of art, thousands of words of new lore, background and story to consume along with new rules, rules updates and a new campaign system built in spirit of Mordheim allowing you to build your own Company of heroes...or villains from the ground up as you continue to create your own wild visions and stories in the world of Twisted.
I'll close out with a huge thankz to Twisted Mac and Ben Kockskamper for the continued support!

TLDR:- The old stuff will be going back on sale shortly, then a new edition with new minis and stuff will get Kickstarted next year, probably.

I don't do Kickstarters any more, but I might for more Twisted, it still depends on whether they stick with the old design style or not.

https://www.facebook.com/TwistedDG

Like a lot of mini companies these days I think they're much more active on their Discord though (Unfortunately, I don't use Discord, don't understand it).

Thank you!

And yeah, Discord and Facebook are just less user friendly but sadly more popular 'limited' forum type places...I don't like them for these types of things either.

Another update:-

Greetings from The Engine.
It is time for the December update (I'm doing my best to at least do one a month, so two months in a row...off to an OK start).
In this months news, we'll start with the fact that Ben loves to poke The Engine for info over on the Twisted Talk Discord...it could be why The Engine hates him, but doubtful, however he was successful in uncovering quite a few things...starting with a sneak at a new mini. I won't put Ben's questions or suggestions up, just the answers:
Hmmm....let's see what we can do here. Some kule new mini's, how about Ahab?
While he won't be part of the campaign...he's definitely going to be sailing into port shortly after we get it fulfilled, I'll do my best to keep he and his crew away from any sort of crowdfunding campaign.
Image 1 - (As FB won't allow inline photos, they'll be in order, and yes I know this one is low res...it's probably on purpose)
BGM's? (big gribbly monsters) Yes, most definitely, the Monstrous Marvels are phenomenal, but BGM's will be 50-60mm...doubt they'll go beyond a 60mm as an 80 is a huuuuge base, did that with Dark Age, Relic Knights and Wrath of Kings...they're tough to fill.
Themed Companies haven't quit been finalized yet, but let's say you decide to build a Scotland Yard Bobby's Blitz list, ya know Abberline, Clark and a bunch of the wheeled fellows (they seem to be all the rage here), grab their company card and get bonuses...what kind of bonuses I hear you asking? Well, could be all sorts of things. Gang up bonuses, movement bonuses, stacking bonuses...all sorts of stuff...but, it'll cost ya.
A themed company will have an associated card with all the trimmings, including a points cost.
Tokens...I'm technically not supposed to show them yet, as I'm waiting for studio photos' but here's a small sample:
Image 2
Campaign/Lore book? Hmm...let's see, what can I say about the T2E book? For the campaign, expect a massive tomb, it's definitely not going to be for everyone. I am planning on a coffee table style stunning work of art.
I love books. LOVE THEM. The rules and cards will always be online for free. The next book will have thousands upon thousands of words of expanded lore, story and narrative. Here's a little sample of that too:
Vinnie burst out laughing. “Lookit the pair on you.” He aimed the shotgun at Marvin’s chest.
“‘Tis a modest sum. And killing me will do you no good.”
Vinnie pressed Hatchett’s barrel against Marvin’s left leg. “Don’t hafta kill you.” He leaned in. “And you owe me.”
Marvin inhaled sharply and pressed himself against the wall.
“But,” said Vinnie, “I’m feelin’ generous.” He produced a five pound note and slapped it against Marvin’s chest. “A fiver, and you’ll fank me for it.”
Pete and I are also hard at work at completing as many of the original KS community ideas as possible, one of them being the art book, it'll be available to all as a PDF, but will also go into the tomb.
We've also started work on a unique set of campaign rules allowing you to build your own company and take them from rags to riches as you work through a series of custom campaign games or create your own.
Image 3
I don't have a final design on cards nailed down yet, and this is from me just not sitting down and tackling it yet.
As for an easy buy in for new players, no question. As I said, rules and cards will always be available on the website for all.
One of the updates that we're working on is resetting the 'starters'. The intro games will be set at 100 points and the new starters will all be 'Company' bases, so expect to see theme's as well as proper intro forces in them, with recommended pathways for the next game size (currently 250) and the final game size (currently 400).
The new Company boxes will run $40-50 USD retail, and as long as my international production plans come through, you should see local pricing in the same vein without international shipping tacked on (this is in the works though and isn't going to be the easiest of solutions, so I beg y'all to have patience with me on this).
Expect to see new art (Pete has been going nutz with new concepts, and I've even dusted off my pencils). I want to have returning artists, new artists for both print and sculpture.
And finally Samuel and myself have been meeting weekly to layout all the various plot lines that will get flushed out, drive the core story in a forward moving direction and flush out a large number of our characters and their own motivations.
One final simple message. Know that I am super grateful to you all, and Pete, Sam and myself are super stoked to bring you new material, but I do ask that you keep in mind, we're just a few chaps making this happen in our spare time around the full time jobs and families we have, so if we're slow on the updates, or miss a question or comment, just give us a friendly little nudge.
Oh...and of course the ever necessary caveat.
*nothing here is final, all the things are subject to the whims of The Engine and may change.
I did also answer a few questions as well, so if you haven't joined the Twisted Talk Discord, ya should - zbUQtuvDS2
Until next time...remember...
The Engine knows all

Going to need to see a much better picture of any new minis first, but Ahab does look like he matches up well with the existing range.

It does look good so far - from what we can see!

Glad to hear that more is one the way - the miniature line is great, and the game is too!

The latest update (I suspect not all their updates make it on to Facebook):-

Greetings from the Engine,
The time has come for the March update. Normally I plan to do the monthly updates mid-month, but with AdeptiCon next week, I had to hold this one for confirmation on a couple of things, now, as you can all know from the simple photo updates for January (a teaser to be revealed below) and February’s updates, I have been a bit lax in revealing any fruitful information. There are two reasons for this, first as I stated above, needed confirmation on a couple items, and the biggest reason is AdeptiCon prep, having to build multiple tables, paint models and prep for a show.
Now on to this month's update. First off, how about another character sneak peek collage?

For those going to AdeptiCon, you can find me at booth 501, stop by, say hello and ask for a sticker! We will have a demo table set up and Servant Shaun will be running demo’s throughout the event. ‘What about models?’ I hear someone say…well those will be available at the Wyrm Forge booth, number 601. Yea I know, it’s odd, but our pals over at Wyrm Forge/Smokey Raven were able to pull together a last minute miracle and get new metal spun up and will be bringing it with them and after a few discussions, it’ll be easier on both parties to have product sales in their booth.

On top of having models at AdeptiCon, I have also been able to confirm that the wonderful team over at Warsenal will have a limited number of acrylic tokens in hand for me, these are not limited edition, but will be in short supply at the show, they will be available online shortly after, so if you can’t make it and would like a set, don’t panic, we’ll get you sorted. There will be two different sets, Tokens and Templates, retail pricing will be updated in next months update.

And last but not least for AdeptiCon this year, our great friend Alex over at Mats by Mars has created not one, but TWO playmats for those of you who love to have a quick and easy way to layout a table. If you’re not familiar with MBM, I highly recommend jumping onto their website and taking a look. They have a very unique product, that is pretty much indestructible…will unless you light it on fire or shoot at it…but don’t do that.

I know many of you have questions about the upcoming crowdfunding campaign. To start, I have a meeting with the crew from Gamefound at AdeptiCon, so will have all the information I need from them to get things set up. While I have a lot of experience with the Kickstarter platform, I do have some specific questions for this team and will obviously get them sorted next week. While I don’t have a launch date just yet, I hope to have that information for you all in next month's update.
Some of the things you can expect to see in this campaign, a pair of new Company’s. We’ll see The Orphanage for the Dickensians matched up against The Luddites from the Servants. We’ll also see The Journeyman come to the fore as the first true mercenary company in the game. There’s another Company or two that will be revealed during the campaign along with a number of characters to add to your favorite factions. There will also be more news about Twisted Second Edition (T2E), what Pete and I are working into the book, new and updated rules, including a new campaign system and solo play options, revised Company building as well as addressing any FAQ and balance issues uncovered by the community.
As I’ve said before, there are extensive plans in place for providing a deep and expanded narrative for all of your favorite characters…well maybe not all of them, but probably most of them, along with a good bit of backstory for the new players.

We’ve partnered with Journeyman to not only bring the first Mercenary Company, The Journeymen to Twisted, but to also create a line of 75mm collectors models for those who love the creative side of the hobby. We’ll have the first couple of models ready for the crowdfunding campaign at a special price for those who want to get in on them early. The line will be a part of Journeyman’s regular releases and will grow as we grow.
To close out this update, I have one final announcement. As I have taken on the mantle of the Speaker of the Engine, there is something highly important The Engine has instructed Pete and I to do and share. A new task if you will. The awarding of a gift to a member of our esteemed community.
The Elevation of The Engine.
Every year going forward, the week before AdeptiCon, we will announce the recipient of The Elevation of The Engine. The Elevation will be awarded to an individual of the Twisted community someone who shows dedication to The Engine and who embodies the heart and soul of the community, helping it grow through contributions, engagement and helping create a positive experience for all of us.
The first of our Twisted community to Elevated by The Engine is the illustrious William ‘Mac’ McClelland.
Mac will receive a custom print of his artwork, we will sculpt a model and create an in-game personality for him. Mac will be able to choose which faction he will join. Pete and I will work with Mac to refine his character's abilities and Sam and I will work with Mac to create his in-game persona and backstory.
Dickensians and Servants, Scions and Guild members, we happily present to you Sir Mac McLelland:

Sadly, I probably won't be able to back the Kickstarter when I launches, but I'm looking forward to seeing the new minis.

Aprils update:-
Greetings from The Engine,
Now that I’ve had a chance to catch up with the personal life (my wife requires a catch up week for her and then I get to get caught up on the house stuff) after two solid months of final prep and a week in Milwaukee at the greatest miniature convention on the planet, ADEPTICON!!! It's time for the April update.
As March’s update was pretty substantial in regard to what was shown, shared and presented at AdeptiCon, the April update will be a bit shorter with a quick AdeptiCon recap and a look ahead at some of what you can expect to see in the crowdfunding campaign.
AdeptiCon 2025!!!
So, for those of you who missed the news, I’m terrible at two things…social media and taking photos. Being a kid of the 80’s…I learned to hate photo day and all things camera and sadly that has just turned into…’oh damn, I forgot I have a camera in my pocket and didn’t take any pictures’, so I have nothing to show of the greatest gaming week of the year…like seriously, nothing, not even a selfie or me and some random other game developer I’ve known for 20 years. I’m ashamed.
Now, heading into AdeptiCon, I was only expecting to have a demo table and demo models to show off, however our friends over at Wyrm Forge/Smokey Raven showed up with stock in hand. Adrian really kicked it into overdrive and surprised me with this. It was fantastic to see new metal cast up and blistered, ready to be picked up and put into play! Due to Adrian beating the planned website update, you can pick up stock from his website until I have completed updating the DG site, that link for y’all:
www.smokeyraven.com
Throughout the weekend, the buzz and feedback was consistent and extremely positive, with many long time fans excited to see the world of Twisted returning and many new fans experiencing the game for the first time. Shaun from Smokey Raven killed it at the demo table, showing many people the delight that is Twisted. Friday night I was invited to speak at the Geek Nation Tours dinner (mainly cause I was one of the sponsors) and Shaun crushed it once again giving demo’s after dinner. Whether new or long time fans, the news of Twisted return was very well received and created a great deal of conversation for myself and the Smokey Raven team. I also personally spoke to a number of developers who expressed more than a little bit of excitement at Twisted return throughout the weekend as well. For not having anything beyond a demo table and a full rack of stock, I and the team were extremely happy with how the weekend went.
Onto some of what's coming for T2E…we’ll start with the Crowdfunding campaign…
While this isn’t a complete list, and obviously a number of details are missing as The Engine likes to reveal all things when it feels like it, we can at least give you a glimpse into the near-ish future. Pete and I are working fervently to get this campaign up asap!!
To start there will be two new companies;
The Dickensians will see The Orphanage open up, led by The Beedle and his lovely wife The Matron, this Company is Nancy’s little ‘pet project’.
The Servants will also see a new Company by way of The Inquisition, led by the Fanatical Puritan Bernardo Gui.
The campaign will also bring in two new factions - The Queen’s Court and Mercenaries, each with two companies to start.
As I’ve stated in the past, there will be a book…a Limited Edition Book, this will be a Large Collectors Tomb - limited in print to 500 most likely as the price will be hefty. What can you expect in this massive Collection of Ozsome?
New Rules
-Solo-play
-The Nameless Campaign (build your own Company)
-Company Theme Rules
-New schools of Alchemancy
-Faction updates
Existing rules will get updated (FAQ/Errata- send in those feedback notes (Discord is a great place for this)
Some characters will get updated version…2nd level if you will
Lore…lots of lore…over 20 stories of various sizes planned for the book, along with half dozen or more beforehand to be added to the lore section of the new website.
As shown in March there will also be a collection of Partner products, some of these will be available during the campaign, some will not.
JourneymanMiniatures - Crossover models - 75mm versions of some of your favorites…but crossovers go both ways, so expect to see 32mm versions of Tim’s models enter the fray! - A number of these will be available during the campaign.
Warsenal - tokens and templates in printed acrylic. Working to confirm campaign availability.
Mats by Mars - Tabletop gaming mats. Working to confirm.
Avante Art World (formerly Scale75 US) Faction Paint Sets. Working to confirm final agreement (time constraints here).
Stormcrow Scenery (not official, just endorsed by Demented Games) - not available during the campaign, but will be highly featured in the T2E book and website.
We’re still working on a few more things, but I can say that most of the concept art is complete, Pete has been busting his tail on getting things done, and a large number of the models for the new Companies for the existing Factions are sculpted, with the Companies for the new Factions having quite a few models either completed or in process.
That’s all for now! Until next time…may The Engine always be in your favor*
*unless your name is Ben…sorry Ben.

Steampunk Inquisition sound snazzy!

I missed the boat first time around so I'm watching these updates like a hawk. I just really hope the lore/background pieces aren't presented as hand written in-world notes on scraps of paper with a curly writing font type. My poor old eyes...
