Alright, so here's my almost fully finished Myphitic Blight Hauler. I found it to be a nice, detailed kit that went together smoothly. As you can see, it's an Alpha Legion Theft. A lot of the silver trim, like the crest at the top and the edges of the curves at the bottom of the track units, got treated with Scale75 Peridot Alchemy, an olive-shade metallic, to give it a slightly poisoned look. For the fleshy bits, I mostly followed GW's tutorial for Pox Walkers, adding some Nurgle Rot to give it a little more oomph.

Ben working on this one for some time. Hour a day between housework and actual work... sigh. But should get it done in the next week or so... fingers crossed.

Nice work - better looking than the awful original model. And more sensible too (though I'd have liked to see you sci-fi it up with twin rotors or something).

I actually touched a paint brush for the first time in three weeks the other night...and then promptly got a work phone call. Maybe I'll actually do something soon.

*goes to take photo of triumph*
*finds camera battery utterly dead.....*

So there won't be a photo this time, but just to say that I finally finished my second unit of Witch Aelves! The only bit I hate cleaning on them is the hair - I HATE hair on models as its all thin and lots of wavy curves that are a nightmare to clean mould lines out of!

Sadly I still have my self imposed target of 90 Witches before I risk putting a paint brush to them (that way I can batch paint all my witches in one big go). I just have to decide if its better to go with 30 more bucklers or 30 more blades - and you know actually be able to afford another 30.

I'm dreading the day I move onto Sisters of Slaughter (no hair but ALL those whips to clean - and the plastic in those whips is darn thin! Least I've got a few spares)

Nice to see everyones progress, been nearly a month since I posted anything as I keep getting distracted. Thought I would show off the state of my work bench as it mostly explains how!;

Gonna start focusing my efforts now, get the little blue ships from the first photo done (Minbari Shial fighters), then the ones with red bits (Drazi Warbirds and Sunhawks) and go from there. Hopefully. Maybe. Okay its not happening. I still have 40 odd ships to clean, assemble and prime...

Looking good so.far. if I might suggest trying to warp the chimera.chassis to make it look like it's getting crushed by the stomp thingy?

I’m trying to figure that out myself. Short of complete demolition. I’m open to suggestions. I want it to still resemble a chimera. Lol

Drop it in a pot of boiling water and then hit the top with a hammer.

I did that to rough up a GW container and the heating and cooling eff3ct really warps th3 plastic well. The hammer was just to get the right buckling in the right place.

Good looking knight there SCM, I only just noticed it has 4 legs, was that difficult to do?

Came here to post some updated photos of the shadow ships I have been working on but my camera refused to cooperate (unless you like big blurs), but I am happy to say I am finally back to making some actual progress. Definitely wont be getting my yearly target done but I don't think I will be too far off it.

I took a hobby break...then I did a single mini, and fixed another.

Then I decided to hunker down and do ten Wraithguard...only five of the Wraithguard turned out to be fantasy models (as in...I opened the celophane wrapped box...and they were fantasy models!). Awaiting replacements from GW, but it killed my progress. I may have two things of resin showing up tomorrow and was planning a hobby crunch before Friday...but alas it's now cold and rainy so that seems unlikely.

Just can't win at the moment. Did two new tanks only to realize I'm missing a handful of key parts I need to bit-order...ugh...

Damn that sucks Elbows.

Got a semi decent photo of my Shadow fleet.

Though it is impossible to tell that they have been highlighted and have varying colours of ink on them due to the shine.
Its my first full fleet painted up and I should get my next one done as well before the weekend. Then its back to trying to paint earth fighters, got 27 of the little buggers to paint (with 14 of them not even assembled) and I struggle to mount the enthusiasm to do 1.

Replacements have arrived. Things have been done. The Wraithbone has been sung into glorious existence. More on the way (in addition to the two tanks I still need to finish with tiny parts)

Will finish these two tomorrow I think...(fuselage and canopy have been glued on and are drying at the moment)

Got the replacement figures from GW and knocked out all ten...boosting my Wraithguard number to 15 and providing a serious boost to my Craftworld.

Nice work Elbows, very vibrant. I love Hornets shame I frosted the canopies on both of mine. Are the glyphs painted on or transfers?

Thanks guys. Runes are hand painted (quite poorly if you see them in person). In retrospect I should have had some decals made...but alas, too late now. Hoping I can finish the hornets today.

@Iare2 Welcome, very nice Nurgle thing!
@SCM Very nice new word, Munged. Not come across that before.

So I have some more progress to show. First up a couple of teenytiny Hyach frigates;

Second up four more Shial/Nial fighters;

And impressively for me those last fighters finish off my second fleet for the year, so here is my complete 10pt battle ISA fleet;

Loving the work so far everyone. Alas, I have been slacking. My Deathguard are no where closer to completion. However, my partner showed interest in Age of sigmar...so I now have a storm AST eternal character to paint up to fight her nighthaunt banshees.

One problem.

I have no idea how to paint her. I was thinking anvil of heldenhammer, but that's too much like black legion. I'm thinking dark silver/metallic armour, gold trim, and then I just need a spot colour. Something a little vibrant but still warm to offset the silver. Anyone got any ideas? Any photos of a similar colour scheme would be super helpful too.
