(hello! trying to learn a new life for themselves DakkaDakka. I started Warhammer 40k, a year ago. wanted to tell you how it all began. the most important thing - it's opponents to play with! as soon as I found them, the thought of playing to do - become a reality. very frightened prices miniatures - so at the beginning I did all of the paper. probably for the same reason I chose Orc army. space for imagination and conversions! Sometimes I do not know what I like more, play or do things for the game.
for me it all started with collecting information and reading materials available. in a nearby town to hold contests conversions thumbnails. this was the first step.
good friend of mine gave me 2 goblins of recruitment firm "technolog" - "Orc Warrior" guardsman helmet and name grenade.)
(then, I tried to make the composition)
(stand, I decided to make a complex. miniatures will be inserted and removed from the main base.
Torch is made from thread impregnated with glue.)

Not sure if you're making a playing piece or a diorama but the end result is better then what you started with so that's a plus. I especially like the score card.

...conversion Gretchin...
...happened that left me two street kids .... fell from bikes .... probably cornering. and then hunger, the bad influence of the street , bad green guys that anything good , can not teach ...! .....
...with sets of bikers were grottoes . that would be good not to disappear , I decided to make them independent of the miniatures, which later will go or how Gretchin or as attendants guns or markers .... in general use them there . after dialing Gretchin left 4 head, something which Beets still could not find a use, so I started to do. everything is simple and uncomplicated , but I like the most . Maybe it 's not perfect, but suddenly someone else to inspire something better ...

Skills are nice, but WHY are you just copying other peoples stuff so closely, instead of making interesting stuff yourself? If you want those models, you can get them easier than what you are doing? Why waste nice skills in making copies when you can get something original and unique.
The stuff you are copying is dirt cheap on ebay.

in the shop "Ebay" seller in the US and the UK. postage costs, the Republic of Belarus, to make expensive! This option is good. but it does not suit me. and I am very sorry about this. This is a forced measure :(

Just awesome work you really have captured the look of the FW one so well
I think the way you work is rather a good way of attacking the process, also you can then move onto your own designs using the skills you have learnt.
The tank s great and how you did the megaphone is brilliant great work all round truly.
Vik I think he has stuck discs together to get the bulkiness and the out side section was probably cut from a pipe/tube, as for the holes in the centre I would think were drilled out and cleaned up.

Excuse me, but this is THE HERESY in bold 1 m tall letters. To spend such an old, potent artifact on some grots... it even has the original packaging!!!

Good luck!

Snakebit

I'm so impressed that you've sculpted your own squiggoth. Your builds are awesome. This sort of scratch building is what drew me to Orks in the first place. It is so nice to see your conversions and unique style for your army. Well done!

That building is fantastic! I'm in love with the empty meganob armour charging against the wall. It feels like it could benefit from a supporting workshop frame like the armour in Fallout to stop it falling over?

I think you've done beautifully. I understand the joy in building and the frustration that can sometimes come with a poor paint job after. HOWEVER... you did not do a poor paint job! It looks great! Be confident, your skills are excellent.

That's an amazing building process. How does the battle wagon handle the weight of the lifta droppa (assuming it's resin). Did you have to add weight to the front and to keep the tank from wanting to tilt back?

Dakka dakka dakka
