So it has begun, the great crusade and warp travel I have returned successfully (see I went to wal mart) had to get a new camera cause well my one was stolen by a supposed friend bollocks on him(he also nicked two sets of dj headphones (audiotechnicas) and a set of screwdrivers).
Also game the gf a lesson in primer and mold lines today so i felt like a teacher so snazzy. and i found fine point sharpies so interesting ideas to happen.


So thats what we have for today enjoy hope you guys have a great weekend hopfully i can convice the gf to work on a dude or something.

yea I do...shes pursuing her codex to murder my poor guys... eh should be fun. I'm going to try to show her the proper way to do things like I said earlier the mold lines the primer highlighting ect how to build fun list how to play the game how to play to the mission ect, now if she wants to venture forth in to the realm of tournaments I'll help her with that too.

Personally I just want to have fun narrate games use wacky units that you normally don't see or just play very casually I mean yea knight titans are cool and baneblades are fun but eh I really don't wanna face five of them in a list to tailor with a jillion lascannons or whatever.

In regards to a plan...as I was in the army I know plans never survive first contact lol. but since I'm a disabled vet and I kinda sit on my but all day I think I can knock out guys at a reasonable rate. But I also had a nasty habit of speed painting to a piss poor table top quality no basing and stuff ( I always always in a rush to get squad x done for tournament Y) so yea. But the general idea is start at 500 points and add 250 to each list till when ever I get sick of painting them.


Other thoughts include repainting my mordians.

As i really do like making themed gaurd armies other regiments i wouldn't mind doing in no particular Order ( Vostrorya, Tallarns and Elysian)


Other xenos i wouldn't mind retackling Tyranids, though genestealer cult do tickle my fancy quite alot. Possibley Orks cause well green is best

For space marine chapters eh there are only two chapters i really like and thats the black templars and the blood angles.


Chaos wise eh i have a love affair with the dark gods It seems like every edition i have a chaos army even this one i have a a small contingent of night lords lol.

between gaurd and chaos...(maybe I should combine the two and to chaos renegades hmmm) eh gw crack is expensive enough as is i don't need fw herion lol ok maybe a vulture for my catachans

Hey guys so I been rather productive so I got my very first guy done up for the Catachans its the Commander. Cause every force needs a snazzy leader...after reading some interesting articles on dakka youtube videos and other places I took to the camera to take better ones. I know I need a light box but that is a project for another day but I did take a picture of him on my board and I think it came out rather well. if I do must say.


so things I tried, power weapons nothing fancy just a couple crazy highlights up in purples. a touch of weathering on the bolt pistol drilling out the barrel I may have missed mold lines. this has been my first mini I have done in about a year so please be kind.

Hey guys not dead, been fighting with the va has left me feeling not very painty (boo I know).

So was looking through yaktribe and looking at the new necromunda stuff and I think I may take the plunge.


So that might be sprinkle into the blog. Funnily enough I been thinking of ott names and ideas for gangs.

Like an inspired Boondocks themed gang (Grandad Freeman any one? just wish I had a chain or a whip so I could emulate his belt of course he'd be the leader bushido brown, riley huey, stinkmeaner, uncle ruckus, tom (tom makes me giggle) thugnificant)


a gang of bros (literally all them named something like brosiden brospeh brotato possible pink polos are need lol)

Genestealer frat boys (cause you know they sneak and they steal panties)

Eshchers based on female pop stars ( cardi b, katie perry selena Gomez) mind you this is questionable as I don't know who the hell cardi b is and I refuse to google her so it maybe 90s and 2000s female pop stars (Bjork??)

Van Saars based on every dystopian cyberpunk/dystopian/hitman thing I can think of (agent 47 from hitman series, blade runner, cyber punk 2020, shadowrun vault hunter from boarderlands fall out john wick ect )


And thats as far as i got in my gigle fest, so any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

Did a thing, laid a mighty crusade against an unholy planet (see I cleaned my house) plus I painted up several guys.

Mind you i have horrible lighting in my house and i don't have a light box and terribly shakey hands so thats a thing.

So I may have mentioned that the gf was interested in necromunda, with that i decided to dust off my hodge podge orlocks to repaint the Hab Hammers (some old metals, sm scouts, and catachans :thumbs up: )

In the world of 40k the 38th Catachan Expeditionary Force (yea thats what we are going to call them) they have two new recruits a sergeant and a plasma gunner, again sorry for the dodgy pictures.
