great cinematic footage.. does a SM justice with a thunderhammer....but he got 5 attacks i doubt that lol ... even on the charge.. heh 4 attacks most if he is chaptermaster or some other special character... That Ork didnt stand a chance. Makes me want to model more THs

And yeah, that was cool. The ork got owned though. It would have been nice if had gotten at least one good hit in.

World of Warcraft, any lion-type creature makes that sound when they die. They used the growl right before it, too. Heh.

i dont think space marines move that quick, if that was the case why (in the trailer for the 1st DOW) did all the space marines get pwnt, even a dreadnought by a bunch of boyz. whereas this video the commander/captain (i pressume) took down an ork warboss with lightning speed and a thunder hammer..

Cheers,
Gutteridge

but besides that, yeah pretty cool vid.

Meh, I thought it was pretty lame. A thunder hammer should inflict real damage, not just make people flinch and create bashing noises like something from Super Smash Bros.

To the OP: a vanilla chapter master can get 6 TH attacks on the charge.

How so? i did not see a banner anywhere near by... 3 base 1 for the charge... one for a Bolt pistol i guess... but that thing looked two handed....

If this was YMDC, I'd ask you to go read your codex, but that may be a little anal for this forum.

Okay:

3 base + 1 for 2 CCWs (the TH is one-handed as of 4th ed) + 1 for Terminator Honours + 1 for charging = 6 attacks.

I have an idea - why not export your newly discovered sphincteral liberation into YMDC? If others in there follow your lead it may eventually be a fit place for us normals.

Woot! Power combo FTW!

I actually thought it was pretty neat. And who's to say Space Marines don't move that fast? I mean, with 400+ years of battle I wouldn't exactly aim to get some clean head-on hits with an Ork Warboss. That, and the Warboss rolling the meanest spree of 1's in cc.

So how fast are we talkin' bout here? Linebacker, runningback, wide receiver speeds? I always thought of marines as centers. But that may just be the terminators.

If a space marine can jump around like that, how about a Howling Banshee? If a SM Commander can move like that, then a Howling Banshee Exarch/SM Commander brawl would make for one heck of a dance fight!

Much prefer the more realistic <-(lol) DoW I opening sequence.

show and tell! I can't imagine what a Warlock and an Avatar are doing in a subway station. Maybe it's the Webway?
