Based at University of New Haven in West Haven Connecticut some friends and I have more recently started to play Warhammer 40k and were looking for more people to play locally. There is a great comic shop, Clockwork Comics, nearby to play at and I have a 6x4 table in the dorms here to play games on as well. If anyone is more local and interested please drop me a line the more the better.

How far are you from Manchester, CT? I play there once a week or two.

Manchester is about an Hour away from West Haven. Where in Manchester do you play?

There is a GW store at Buckland Street Mall, Manchester. I usually play there on a monday night. The other location is The Time Machine in Manchester on a Thursday or Sunday where non GW games are played as well as 40K.

Ah thats quite a hike for me. As for right now Monday is a no go, since I have class Monday night, but on weekends I'm usually free and I wouldn't going up occasionally if a game of 40k will happen.

Drop me a pm in advance of a weekend and we'll get a 40K game arranged at The Time Machine.

I live in Manchester too - haven't gotten out to the Time Machine or the GW store to actually play..just to buy stuff...
me and my room mate both play - 40k and WHFB - how is it gaming at the stores? We usually play on the table we have...

I live near winsted, which is a hike, but if we set up a time and place, I could drive for a game.

I live in Eastern CT, but drive to Buckland on the occasional Monday. It is a good place to play.

Ivellos, (or anybody). If coming up on a Saturday for a tournament is a better gig, I think the next one will be on January 24th. Its a 40k team tournament. 1000 points per team. The date isn't set in stone yet. I'll post more details in about a week when I have the date set.

Hey, me and a few friends live around 30 minutse from new haven, and around 20 minutes from orange, when do you play ?

There's also a good newer store in East Hartford, called The Warsmith. It's still a bit of a drive from the Southern parts of the state, but worth it for a Saturday.

I shop at clockwork in orange all the time. I've never played there though. Looks like a nice place to play. The owner is real friendly. I wonder if you need to call ahead or he has a sign up sheet or something. I'll ask next time I'm in there. You can PM me if you want to try and set up a game some time. It's always nice to find new people to play with.

If you're willing to trek a little east there's a great store called Sarge's Comics in New London, CT. They have a great bunch of guys working there and as I understand a good following for both fantasy and 40k (I haven't been back in a while.)

There's a group in the Danbury area , called Ordo Ineptus, that meets every Monday and every other Friday, at the Brookfield Hobbytown, there's occasional gaming at Cave Comics and Connecticon runs it's Member's Appreciation Day minicons every month.

Hey guys, I'm a brand new player but learn quickly. I live down in Hamden but I could definately make it to Clockworks. Do you guys go most Saturdays and what timeish. I'd love to see some people really play, it'd make learning easier. I play Necrons by the way.

Hey, couldn't make it out there this week but think if I went on the 3rd when the tourney started I could watch some games? Don't want to be in he way. I've got about 600 points made if I don't equip my lord at all so I'm not quite at playing capacity.

The owner's are gamers and are approachable and in touch with wargaming, and are always generous with the prize support at events.
