Ummm... What's with the turret hatches leading to nothing on the dread? Whatever they are, I think they stick out way too far.
Other than that, nice to see the old stuff again. I like the spell stuff coming out of the champion's hand.

Back in the days before the Chaos Vehicle sprue, one had to improvise to do Warp Amps... and these are Noise Marines, they're supposed to be over the top...

That explains it perfectly! Looks FAR better all painted. Not only that, but it doesn't seem so wide painted and based. Maybe a bit to do with the pic size and angle, too.

im liking the whole speaker idea fitzeh, might have to try it, the plastic SM dread should do fine with some work, and an i-pod shuffle is perfect size, the shuffle can fit inside its sarcophagus easily, and the warp amps will be easy ti make casings for, i might give this a go

That's just too brilliant. I guess stealth is out of the question, I mean, they'll hear you coming the moment you drop out of the warp! Did you use inks over a silver undercoat? Whatever you did, it looks great.

Black primer/Undercoat, drybrushed -lightly- with Liquitex Interfereance paint...
Ok so I've got to ask, what is that tank commander's right hand doing...? It looks, slightly naughty.

That submarine-landraider conversion is pretty neat. Reminds me somehow that WD article, where they built a tank from a deodorant box. As for the paintjob, I really dig your purple.
