well my friend has a space marine army and i got my hands on his codex when i got to the sternguard i thought OI!!! why don't the chaos have that.

so i started work on these

i see how you can use these in Apocalypse, the allies chart does not apply to "count as" so if you call them "chaos Stergaurd" then according to me, that is fine by me

I love 'em. Very imaginative conversions. One question though, do you plan on using any gs to "clean up" the conversions? I would highly recommend it, it will make them look that much more natural.

I'm gonna be honest I don't like the shoulder on shoulder bolter thing at all, and the extra 2 cooling vent thingys on the power pack is just un neccissary, the guy with the two plasma canons looks cool, but doesn't fit to much in with the rules and looks like a chaos version of the tau commander shadowsun, other than these things great job! I love the guy with the possessed head and the banner, the guy with the skullz on the chain is great 2.

The assault canon on the plague marine isn't doing it for me either, but I reallly like the idea and saw what you were trying to go for.

You can easilly fix that dread.

Sure his tech marines can salvage the sarcophagus and restore the dreadnought. But the ancient space marine warrior entombed in that dread has most likely died when the fluids sustaining him leaked from that terrible wound. Though this dread may house a new marine and continue to serve its chapter for many more millennia a moment of silence for the millennia of combat knowledge, and valued battle brother that was lost is not so big a sacrifice...

Actually lol yeah that dread should be easy to fix. Don't fret about it!

Very cool conversions, and I like the caution stripes on the dread. But just so you know most skitarii are just bionic/enhanced humans. There's an article about it on Lexicanum.

like i said, according to me you could use the EXACT same rules rules as normal sternguard, and when your oppnent asks what they are then just tell them "there "count as" sternguard, just there chaos" if you went against me i would allow that

in fact now i think about it, a chapter like the "soul drinkers" which are just renegade and not chaos can use the normal SM codex

Sorry, but I think you should reposition the plasma gunner's legs or something. I mean, right now it looks like he is doing some pelvic thrusts.

Though if I got to carry 2 plasmas, or if my helmet was that horny (sorry... that was baaad.), then I would be doin' some pelvic thrusts too.......

I dont want to say it but I think I need too. Why do the the plasma rifles mounted on the one guys arms still have the shoulder brace on them?

i tried to make the plasma gunner as bulky as possible cuz you know
well..I would like a 10 cm thick layer of armor around me when about 10 liters of boiling hot plasma are thrown at me
but that's just me...
and btw i just like the shoulder braces
but that (again) is just me

i quite like the rhino but i think som eof your conversions look a bit clunky and don;t looke quite reight. my opinion ofc if your oding iron warriors you need to throw some mor ebionics in there
