@ Jukto. Very nice! You ever been tempted to play it as a Knight titan? looks big enough to carry it off.

I like it. It quite a different take on a warboss.

@ agroszkiewicz

I really like the idea of your destyoer/possessed/DP (is it a DP or a Lord?):

My only gripe is that the necron body and spine make it look a little too skinny. I probaby woudl have used a chaos Termie/Marine body and green stuff'd it to fit the Destroyer chassis, maybe kept a proper Chaso head on it as well. But funky plan.

Ah, gotcha, it does look a lot better bulked out. You gogin to use a "normal" marine arm for the other arm...or something else? A powerfist arm + shoulder pad could serve to add a bti more bulk to the body as a whole.

What will you be playing it as? A DP or a Lord on a mount?

That gun looks mean BTW. nice work.

I actually quite like that paint scheme, dark and forbding. The only thign i woudl change to make the model pop woudl be to maybe do the helmet lenses another colour, i'm thinking bright green (either Snot or Scorpion)

My fave conversion so far. Iron (Brass) Scorpion! The tail and claws look a little out of place as it is not fully connected yet, i'm not sure if i should try to make them removable for storage or just pin and glue them.

It's not bad. I've only used it once so far but i put it in the middle of the board and held up pretty much their entire army for 3 turns while they tried to kill it, then when it finally died it went up in a 21" blast and took out a S**t load of models with it.

it didn't kill it's worth in points no, but it stopped a BA and a SW termie assault squad from zipping across the table and taking my 2 objectives, so won me the game.

To be fair, i was using it wrong. I shoudl have had it charging off to toast MEQs instead of stalliing his armoured line.

Excellent paintjob, though!

I wish someone would comment on mine...

I disagree, the CCW he used is my favorite

Mine aswell

Same here. I Used it on a FW Iron Warriors dread, AND on my Demon Prince conversion. Looks sexy.

Very nice! Are they converted from termies? I keep meaning to try that. The current metal Oblits are a nightmare!

Not really a conversion....more of a minor kitbash. But i think it worked out well..

Very nice. I'm assuming you decide which weapons to use per game? Looks proper mean. Teh fact that its a bare head makes it look like a marine is driving it (similar to the new dreadknight) rather than being entombed in it. Wicked.

I HAD a keeper. She got me LOADS of 40k when i first got into it (when apoc first came out no less!), then one day i came home from work and she had bought me a Monolith for no reason!!! YAY!!!

Then she worked out how much i had spent on 40k already and now refuses to have anythgin to do with it.

Doh.

Looks pretty cool. Where did you get the book? That would look awesoem on 1k sons or Word bearers models.

EDIT: Nevermind, in case anyone was wondering though: http://www.bitzbox.co.uk/advanced_search_result.php?search_in_description=1&keywords=book&osCsid=ae9b092c0f396073fe7f66102ccb2d95&x=24&y=10

No idea what the tank is, came in job lot of figures, but so far ive stuck a claw from a killa kan on it and done a bit of paintwork.

The tank looks like an old OOP Predator.

Are those the arms off the plastic DP with the body of the metal one?

Looks really good.

I thought the plastic kit was bigger than the metal one but the parts here seems to marry up pretty well.

I'm assuming it is a "Brass" Scorpion? It looks amazingly detailed but (and it's a small but) it coudl do with maybe a bit of shading to add definition (although that coudl be the lighting in the pic).

Also, coudl you post a couple of different angled pics so we can see it properly? Other than those small niggles i think it's great!

It was just my attempt at making a scorpion defiler, although with the addition of FWs "Greater Brass Scorpion" I could now use this as the lesser version. As for the paintjob, that was very early stages, current version is more complete but I will be redoing it when I resume my thousand sons army.

I'm not happy with the colour palette

To be honest i think the actual palette is nice and definately works for a thousand suns army. I would just look to darken it up and add some definition. A Blue wash on the plates and maybe a drybrush to pick out the edges would probably do the job nicely.

So the only AoBR parts left is the cape and shoulder pads? Nicely done.
