so my friends and I have made a little army that consists of nothing but our infectious and viral friends... zombies...

we originally didnt know the zombie ruleset so we came up with our own and we have 4 different types of zombies...

so in this thread I want you guys to post your zombie models or paint jobs...

let us know some of your tips and tricks on how to make the shambling horde come to life...

and show us the races that our infectious plague has spread over...

so show us all of your alien zombie mods too!

these are our two favorite zombie models that we have made from the good ol' "mess up the guardsmen" technique...

the first one is nick named "Cap'n"









and this one is our absolute favorite model... he has earned the endearing nick name of "Nibbler"









and some more detail on his face...

we us them for 40k...

we have an incredibly overpowering data sheet for them...

so they are our friend's learning army... if anyone wants to join in with us but dont have an army generally play the zombies...

and they are usually a massive horde by the end...

but its always fun...

true... although the zombies dont have long ranged weaponry... the only units that do are the ork zombies... called "pukaz"... and they have a single ranged attack... and then the zombie beast... which I cant seem to find... which sucks...

but thats why nibbler is our favorite...

cause he's so deadly cause you cant see him...

Sweet horde... Love it. It actually makes me worry for my Guardsmen.

what did you use for the models?

ours is about 20 guardsmen "shamblers"... [troop]

then we have about 12 tau and eldar "sprinters" [fast attack]

we have about 4 ork "pukaz" [elite]

and we have one bit catastrophe " Zombie Beast" [hq/heavy]

Most are just Catachan and Cadian guardsmen combined with the WFB Zombies.
Everything else is from Horrorclix.

Are resin zombies affordable? If you field them in apoc you'd need at least 60 models.

Isnt there a company that sells a BAG of zombies?! I keep thinking I saw someone post once that you can buy a bag of zombies for cheap. My group has been tossing around the idea of doing a hold the bunker against a zombie horde.

I think that you may be thinking of Twilight Creations.
Unfortunately they are unipose, bendy plastic and the wrong scale! (about 2cms tall.)
They are for a board game called Zombies which is kinda fun. Check it out here

lol oh btw they should have the FNP rule since zombies are dead people who came back so they already technically were shot or blasted apart.

Unfortunately, I don't actually have a zombie horde or any zombie models of note.
It was late and I thought it to be a light hearted response in an otherwise extremely serious thread.
I tried to justify that response with a . Sorry for getting anydeadbody's hopes up.

Just buy the fantasy undead... they aren't too expensive and if you kitbash them with some guardsmen.... you have some serious zombies.

Yea that was the one I was thikning about. Darn didnt realize they were tiny. Oh well. Probably go the fantasy route unless I can find a website that sells a bunch for less. I really dont care if they were awesomely detailed or not, just needed zombies lol

(his paintjob isnt great... but its the model that you'll love...)

like I said... his paintjob isnt the greatest (back when I was REALLY bad)

but he was fun to make and even more fun to eat everything on the table with...

if you noticed... the legs are made of guardsmen+ doing hand stands...

I think I kinda have to leave him painted like this for now...

cause he's too many random pieces to do anything detailed with...
