Hey everyone, just wanted to throw some info out there....

Saturday May 9th, there will be a 1850 point 40k Tournament at the Wynnsong 12 in Foley Alabama.

Registration starts at 9 am, and is 20 bucks. With your registration you will recieve a free Movie Voucher. The proceeds of this Tournament will benifit Unbounded Miracles, a Therapudic Riding Center for mentally, physically and emotionally disabled children.

There is 1000 dollars worth of GW prize support for this event. Thats alot of goodies...

You are correct I have just confirmed there will be a scuba lesson package offered as a prize and yes that is aleast a value of $350.00. Some other items were also added today

Just an update it looks like we will have a wholesaler there also offering up to 30% off retail for all orders made during the tournament.

I hope to see everyone there, we will also have a table or two set up for bit trading and selling of models and armys for those that are interested

Pensacola player here...model rules? EG: 3 colors, WYSIWYG, base paint only, GW models only, no conversions, no FW...etc?

Hello and thank you for your interest in the tournament, let me answer those questions for you.

We are not requiring that you paint the models, however there will be prizes for the best painted models and a players choice award.

And yes it is WYSIWYG

My take on the GW only would be yes that is correct, "but i will double check"

AS far as conversions I again have no problem with them "but again i will double check"

Hey, I took a look at your gallery, and that Vanq. is pretty badass, if thats the kind of thing you were asking about then I say "Bring it!!" cause that looked cool. I haven't talked with Jonathon lately, but I think most anything will be ok as long as its not like an IG army made up of little green army men.(I've seen it) I figure as long as things keep within the spirit of GW stuff then thats allright by me. This isn't an official GW event(obviously) so I'll talk with Jon to see how much of the GW only rule applies.

Does the store have a number I can call to pre-sign up for the tournament?

If you pre reg before may 1st you will receive 20% off retail that anyone who reg for the tournament will receive but you will also get a $10.00 off coupon for your first order of $100.00 or more

orders received by may 1st should arrive before the tournament.

if all goes well there will be a pre reg button on miniwargame.com tonight and then a list of items that can be ordered
