The following sculpture is now on ebay!!!!
I know the starting bid is not cheap, it is an original, a one off piece.
If no one buys her , i'll just keep her for my own collection.

Great work - seriously!
One question though- why not cast it in resin and sell them at £15 a pop? They would sell like hot cakes (I would have one!) and you would get to sell many more for ever!
If you sell this as is, it could give way to the purchaser doing exactly that- and earning off of your hard work?
Just a thought!;-) If you want, I can cast it for you? PM me for further details and check out: http://s198.photobucket.com/albums/aa192/warhound_photo/XV%20PROJECT%20DONE/
For my latest work;-)

Wow, that is a great idea. But she might be glued to her base. Still, the purchaser might decide to reproduce it, could be a money maker. Better than the GW version, I say (Dark Eldar slaves). Much better.
I wonder if a recast would destroy the original? Probably not if done correctly.

Question for everyone: If this model was reproduced in resin, and retailed for £10, WOULD YOU BUY ONE???(or even collect a range of them in a similar veign?) (obviously this is just hypothetical, and saying yes is not a commitment to do so, just a little market research) So please let me know...........just a YES or NO would be helpful. Thanks

Resin casting isn't hugely expensive to get into. Teaching yourself to make molds and investing in a vacuum chamber can produce some great resin casts.
You'd have to sell alot of minis to make up the cost of the vacuum chamber, but it could be worth it if you're looking at making a hobby business out of this.
I'd buy a resin copy of this mini. I'm a sucker for titsy minis.
Short answer: Yes.

Right now, that would be ABOUT $16.
I cannot see paying more than $5 - 10 for it, alas.

For your infomation, there is nothing misleading in the item description,(I know I have significantly overpriced the starting bid, and for a very good reason), so if someone thinks it is 'the original green of the slave from the Asdrubael Vect set' that would be an assumption, and a pretty dumb one to boot. Firstly they obviously cant read the words 'NOT WARHAMMER', secondly they can't reads the words 'ONLY ONE IN EXISTENCE'. It doesn't even look like any of them to my knowledge. Of the two that I think you are talking about, imho, they look more like whores than captives, one of them with a face like she's just licked piss off nettles. But thanks for you concern.

Sorry man, its the truth. Its not a finished product, painted or what not. Reproduced, and people will use it for converisons and master piece. Slannesh/Dark Eldar players would go nuts for it, so would any one looking to add it to their collection. There's a mega online store in UK I'm sure would sell it for you online. Contact Warstore in US, Neil's a cool guy and probably help ya out.

Have you thought about getting in touch with Hasslefree Miniatures? I know they have a "White Metal" section of their website devoted to figures sculpted by others. I think they may even do the casting.
I know I'd buy one if it were part of a larger series. However, at 10 British Pounds (stupid American keyboard...) it's a little steep for one miniature. 3 for 20... maybe if I just came back from a lucky night at the Casino.

Right guys, thanks for the feedback. I'd better explain (to anyone commenting on the ebay auction price) that I have intentionally raised the starting bid on ebay so as hopeully NOT to sell it. I am hoping that no on is rich enough(or stupid enough) to pay £200 for it. This is because I no longer wish to sell it(if I knew how to remove it from ebay I would have done that instead). I am more interested now to find out if anyone might be interested in buying a resing reproduction of the model. Thanks.Uri
