jp400 suffers from random bouts of nerd rage. This was fixed in the newer model jp800 series. jp400 just relax and chill out. It's not as a big a deal as you seem to think. People that focus on positive aspects of life do tend to be happier and healthier. Say and think good things.

GBF can't be booted, he's a DCM. OOOOOO Money talks everytime. I bet if you send Yakface enough money, GBF will get a ban. But then I would pay the same amount to have him reinstated.

See, in my eyes, this thread is completely 'off-topic' and highly appropriate for the forum.

We've got:
- Inane premise&first post
- Replies in spite of inane post
- Trolling/personal attacks that have clearly been simmering for a while
- Story with nothing to do with the thread, which garners more replies than the thread.

It's hard to get more off-topic than that. I salute this thread.

Then let Yak and the other Mods handle it. If they don't like it, they can deal with GBF. If you think GBF makes gibberish posts, I'd suggest you PM Yak or Frazzled or another Mod. GBF puts up a bunch of nonsense. I read some of it and ignore some of it, but I don't feel a need to police him.

DCM is like $20 or 25. I figured that I was hanging out here enough that I should flip Yak a bone. I've been around ye ol' BBS systems (like 15 years ago) with -gasp- dial-up connections (which might only have 6 or 8 phone lines for people to connect). Running a site isn't cheap or often fun, but I like it here. Also, as far as I know, being a DCM doesn't give any sort of 'pull' with Yak. I've edited a few of my posts before hitting the Submit button, because I have no desire to get a warning from anyone.

If Yak wants to ban GBF tomorrow, that's his choice. I find GBF entertaining most of the time, and annoying some of the time. I try to ignore the annoying part.

I also don't get the big deal about post counts. Whether you count is 10 or 1000, I give your words the respect they're due.
