Hey, I've been lurking around the site for the past week or so, and it's really spiked my interest in 40k. I haven't played in around a year, and I'm looking to get back into it. This forum seems like the PERFECT place to get any info.
First off, I have an army issue. I have about 500-750 pts of CSM sitting around, a box of Stormboyz, and a friend offering me 4k+ Pts of Tau for $400. I wanted to know which army you guys think I should choose. Doesn't need to be one of the ones listed above. FYI, I know I should choose what I like CC or midrange fire, but I CANT DECIDE... CSM now that I look at it seems interesting, but the models I have assembled are completely messed up. My Land Raider has one turret on the side, and a hatch covering the other turret hatch >.> Overall, I just wanted to know your guys' opinions.
More about me: I am 16, so relatively young for tabletop gamers, and I find this a GREAT hobby. I want to have a FUN game, not necessarily go competative. Maybe a tourney once and awhile, but the competitive scene isn't for me. Hence why I listed Orks as an option, mostly due to the ideas of Lootas and Big Mek with SAG. Who WOULDN'T enjoy taking the risk of blowing a hole in your own army 
Anyway, I hope to see you guys around the forum!

I hear they make you watch hours upon hours of horrible Bollywood movies and stuff vegemite down your throat to purify you....

Welcome to Dakka, mate. Now here is what you are going to do. You are going to walk over to those SM and orks, you are going to pick them up, cast them onto the floor, pour gasoline over them and set them on fire. You are then going to run to the nearest GW store, but naked and flailling yourself with the GW tape measure all the way. You will then proceed to buy 1000pts EACH of IG, Witch Hunters and BA.
Do this or suffer the consequences.
