Of course, as an American, that means I must say that soccer sucks, and football (real football... you know, the one where you do everything with your hands) is 10,000 times as good. I mean, football players could probably beat up soccer players, even, because they actually know sports.

Im guessing this is for MWG?

I really like the design, but the painting of the actual kan is kind of dull to me.

The could use some color other then metal. Remember, Orks like some random bright colors. Its the way we work. Even if its just the metal teeth painted something brighter, it would break up the dullness

Looks good!

I didn't even think of doing anything to the modelling of my kans, apart from making a grotzooka out of green stuff and an old warbike dakka gun (looks like a big blunder buster!).

I thought mine were too dul aswell so I painted the piston'y parts lighter and splashed on my army colour of orange!

What is the whole paint pot thing actually?

I didnt get that, they just looks like killa kans to me that have been altered. Sureley paint pots are too small for killa kans?

If they are paint pots tho, im making an other 6! lol

Full on, Full on!

I love these!
The use of bits makes them very authentic.

They need more color but otherwise are pretty cool

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

@Newt-Of-Death

they are in fact paint pots, here is a W.I.P. pic

yes this was for the MWG kontest
I found a number of threads here on dakkadakka about "paint pot Kans"

I though the idea was great, asked on MWG forums if anyone liked the idea as well, many did, and a competition was born

As for the colors
I seem to always get comments about how dark/dirty my orks are, i chose black & brown as my army colors,

and decided not to use brown on any vehicles in my army

Newt - thats what I was talking about lol. Kans are tiny, and a pretty close size to an empty paintpot. Obviously this trick would be much to small for a deff dred tho.

Just started on some paint pot Kans myself. I'm new at this and sorely lacking in "bits" so it should be an interesting journey...

The construction and ideas are excellent, but as mentioned the paintjob (while technically fine) is a bit dull. Need a bit more colours, IMO. Other than that... modelling wise, I think they look kick-ass

I especially like the one with one wheel... I can just picture how comically it would tear up Space Marines

thas one thing i was happy with s that thay are all different, although i did use the same rokkitz on two of them

i just didn'tb think the other rokkitz looked good, i also think that the without the deff kopta parts this konversion would not have went so well

im going to make more, but i got lots to paint first

I really like these. I think they are rather orky. More so than the ones from the blister. However a little more time on the paint job could probably make them pop a little more. A definate great job on conversion tho.

Might have to venture into making all sorts of things like Deff dreads, battle wagons, stompas (yes they are all plural!)

You have, however, succeeded in inspiring me. I have my first "paint-pot" Killa Kan completed and am working on the second. I will post pics when I get three done.

Thanks for the inspiration!

That's ridiculous.
These are some of the few kitbash/scratchbuild Kanz that look like they could actually move rather than just being rooted to the spot.
Do you plan on making any more?
