People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

This is why you'll never be an evil overlord.
You'd probably keep backups of your doomsday weapons and have a non-exploding base too.

Theologically, all of the stories should still work in space. God is universal.

We can but hope.
If this does happen I will repent all of my sins and will accept 100% the existence of a benevolent God and set forth to do his work. Like in "Kung Fu" but, you know, with not quite as much martial arts and more drunkenness.

...well...first of all I have to say I'm not much of a Liefeld fan. I like Cable and Deadpool, but I've never much been into comics in general so my opinion is of little worth. Most of the stuff I learned about Superman, the X-Men, etc. came from watching the old animated shows.
But yeah, I'm not quite sure how to feel about this. It's...it's so stupid and absurd that it's actually kinda awesome.

Purely speculative nonsense. What does that even mean? Being as i am frequently whined at for giving my entirely scientific rational opinion about the fact that it is extremely unlikely there is a higher power, i cant sit here and say nothing when someone makes a statement that is entirely unfalsifiable.
On a side note, being a comic book geek, I love Liefelds work. His X-men stuff was fantastic, and he does a mean spiderman. Him and Jim Lee are easily two of my favourite pencilers, But seriously, this stuff was bogus. Especially Noah! Hah!
Samson was kinda cool.. but he was probably the only one you could make a decent comic about. The huge fat guy with a drill made me laugh out loud!

Yeah i was a teenager back when he was popular, i got a great X-force paperback where X-Force team up with Spiderman and knack the Juggernaut and the pencils were great. He drew a good Cable as well. He isnt everyones cup of team though. I think he is good at drawing other peoples characters, but rather dogshit when it comes to making up his own.
Sadly im not as into the comics as i was when i was a lad. I only buy Alan Moores now, as odd as it may seem, Marvel seemed to get a biut.. childish? :

I know the story you mean. You can't deny he was incredibly popular, but when I look at his stuff now, like in the link above..so much of it is terrible... that Captain America drawing especially...I think they could have done him for treason for that.
You should check out "Fables"..t'is very good.

Some of the faux pa's they used to make in golden age of comics really are ridiculous. Have you guys seen
