I got mine last week.
It plays a lot like 1st Ed Space Hulk but the event card are really good and add an extra dimension to the game.
My mate got up set when I managed to win the turn (going first) and had a whole stock of action points to blat his last man with. Upset due to not being able to fight back or even defend yourself in HtH.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

I love the few models for it I've got so far (Sturmzombies) so this game intrigues me.

Could someone in the know give me a brief overview of the rules?

that sounds like a GREAT game mechanic there.

Oh wait, no it doesn't. "Stand there and pick up your models while I play the game." = No Sale.

9000 out of 1000 presold? Awesome. Way to go, guys. Any plans for a second release yet? Like a lot of folks out there, I'm waiting to hear reviews of the game before picking it up- but will be grabbing the minis for use in other games too. If reviews are good, I'll grab the game itself.

And regardless of the reviews, it's great to hear that this is a financial success (assuming so 'cause you're so close to selling the whole run).

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

Glad you asked, we've already put the money down with our manufacturer for the second run. We're also laying the groundwork for a British MI-13 expansion.

BTW, Fenris Games in the UK has released some awesome resin doors and objective markers for Incursion. Currently they are available through Fenris' ebay store at:

http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Fenris-Games__W0QQ_sidZ55776203?_nkw=incursion&submit=Search

We will be carrying them from the Grindhouse webstore in the US shortly, and they will also be available from the West Wind webstore for European players.

Hey John, may I ask a few gameplay questions of you? We played several games last night at our LGS, and it was a LOT of fun.

Overall, very easy to understand, very cool and atmospheric game. The cards add so much to the game- you never know what's going to come up!

One question that came up- if you have a character that is agile and can leap over other models (passing through occupied squares) is the model eligible for reaction fire? If so, is it shot at right as it moves through an occupied space?

Also, is there a limit on how many occupied spaces the model can move through? As many as it has APs until it hits an open space? Only one?

Awesome game. We played missions 1 and 2 several times. Very challenging.

Glad you like it LittleLeadMen! The short answer to your questions are: 1) RF only happens when the target is in LOS, and per the LOS rules a model is only in LOS if you can draw a line from the center of the firing model's square to the center of target model's square without intersecting a wall, closed door or another model base, so RF occurs when the Leaping model enters an empty space, and 2) no limit stated other than that you cannot use CP for Leaping only AP.

For any future rules questions, please head over to the fan forums for Incursion and Secrets of the Third Reich at:

www.secretsofthethirdreich.com/forums

That way your questions (and more importantly the answers) can benefit the 1300 or so other players who are signed up there. Here they'll get lost in the flood.

Cheers!

Just wanted to post some pics of the game for those Dakkites too lazy to go find more ^_-..

On the whole the quality is fantastic. A really neat and compact boxed game with plenty of space for everything. The only iffy spots for me are the reference sheet which looks to need some additional backing ( I'll be laminating soon ), and the map board is half on one side half on the other, I'm not sure the full map is ever needed though, and if you really need the full map some day, you could always just buy another game ^_-.

Fantastic Work Grindhouse, I'm looking forward to digging in with this game for some good old zombie killins.

On with the photos!

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

"Incursion" is a set of rules and pretty much designed exclusively for the US 7th Armored "Lucky Sevens" fighting their way through the tunnel complex of Gibraltar.

HOWEVER, if you want to play something else...the models are supposed to be usable in the rules for Doomsday 1949.

I really like the game. The material is in depth enough that alot of those old issues you would think you would have work themselves out.
And easy enough to get a good game in without having to flip through the rules all day long.

I recommend it. I'm working on getting a 3D board together though. Theres a few good examples on the site, but I'm lookin over the map, ands I'm gettting the wood, styro, and the scraps, and getting the work up in about a month or two.

Great Game, Great Effort!

So am I just an idiot or why cannot I not find images of the box contents on the main page for this game?

In particular, I'm really curious as to the size and shape of the board you play on.

Since it doesn't appear to use a tile-based system like Space Hulk (right?) I'm wondering about re-playability. Is the board two-sided? Is there some way to create variety using the same board?

And why no high quality pics of the boxed contents on the site? Shouldn't those be ready to go by the time sets ship, or am I just not seeing them?

Looks very intriguing otherwise!

Have a bit more thoughts on the content posted on The Painting Corps for those looking into the quality of the boxed set.

Hope to dig into the game and give some gameplay thoughts in the future.
