I have read the Gaunts Ghosts Novels and have ever like to have a Blood Pact Army. Then I saw Dave Taylors Army and at the day I have seen his tutorial for his Trucks I decided to start my army. Unfortunatly, I have not so much time for the project, but I will have 750 points for a tournamant in april.

But here is the most important, the Pictures.

Now I working on the rest of the 750 points. There are only a few things to do.

Great looking army, but the Helo conversion stands out to me. I'd love to see more pics, especially of the rotors (overhead view). Tutorial/ parts list would be tremendous.

I absolutely love the freehand work and the red tattoos. The basing is also very nice. It looks epic without being crazy busy.

Hey Pictop those look AMAZING! Is there any chance that we can get some close ups of the helicopter maby the pilots and a view from above. If this is is possible it would be great to see. Also it woud be really helpful to me if you could give me a quick tutoial on how you painted them , if you want you scheme to be unique to you thats also fine and i will respect your decision.

Hi at all and thanks for all your nice commends.

hier some Wip pics of the Vendetta





And hier a little tutorial how I paint my vehicles.

At first I paint it complett with Dark Fresh and then I paint the metalic pieces with Boltgun Metal. (It must be clean)
And then many Devlen Mud.



Step 2 is to make a second clean film of Dark Fresh.
At normal vehicles I make a accent (I dont now if it the right word) with a mix of Dark Fresh and Bleaching Bones

The OSL is only a mix of Entchanted Blue and Chaos Black
Then I brushing Entchanted Blue
And then I mix it with more and more Skull White.



For the Chaos Icons is the Tutorial of Dave Talyor the best way.

Last but not least I make all the lights and the accents by brushing Graveyard Earth, Bestial Brown and Boltgun Metal

At thursday I will make new pics of my HQ Squat and the next five heavy weapons.

Ok what I planing for this army is:

1. to finish the command squads and my veteransquat to have 750 points.
2. to scratch a Stalk-Tank (I will build it in high quality to make resin modells of it)
3. I will convert 10 bestigors to Penal Legion Squad
4. Then I build what I need for the next game or tournament

am in the middle of reading the ghost books myself and i do love em as well.

As for your army so far it is stunning! Great work on the trucks and vendetta.

As for your infantry if you really wanted to you could follow the books a tad more but adding scars along the arms/face from their sacrifices and add iron masks on some of em.

Thats only if you want to follow the books. Your Blood Pact as it stands really dont need much more inmprovement.

Awesome conversions, great painting, whats not to like? Great stuff.

Although I agree with everyone else, the chopper is awesome, it would be even better if you found a way to remove the jet turbines along the top of the aircraft. It looks a little odd, on close inspection, that something would have both systems. Don't know how feasible that would be, never assembled a valkyrie.

I also really like how your Chaos symbols almost lend a camouflage effect on the vehicles.

If there were an area to improve on, I think the basing could use some more work. The odd patches of snow look quite unrealistic, and would require more work on the bases and the vehicles to carry the winter weather theme.

So I have something new





For the next infantry squads I will use cadian bitz to make it more like the BP in the novels.

I love the work especially with snow bases as they make almost any color pop out more.

Check out this artwork on Deviant art, might give you some ideas for your Blood Pact.

Have you also considered using the Fallen Legionnaire heads by Maxmini.eu?

The artworks are great and I will try to use some ideas of it.
