I work night shift and have just finished reading every page of this blog! and i love it, I myself enjoy rarely used chapters and was contemplating MW but decided to do some Exorcists instead :-) but now I think i might research and find some more strange chapters to use as your models are great and have inspired me to do another SM army, it's time to shelve the kroot mercs for a while. please keep up the great work and i'll be following closely

The Guyver
was made into a movie in 1991 with a 1994 sequel

CIA agent Max Reed witnesses Dr. Tetsu Segawa—a researcher for the mysterious Chronos Corporation—being murdered. Dr. Segawa had stolen an alien device known as “the Guyver” from Chronos. College student Sean Barker, whose girlfriend’s father was Dr. Segawa, finds the Guyver’s hiding spot while watching the forensic team investigating the crime scene. Through further events, the Guyver fuses with Sean and causes him to be covered in a suit of bio-armor. The president of Chronos, Fulton Balcus wants the Guyver back and sends his mutant henchmen, the Zoanoids, led by Lisker to steal it back.

Damn Gits, I am impressed as are everyone on here with your palsma guy! I never see them fielded on kneeling legs but it looks great! like he's really bracing something heavy to execute the emperors will.

Shame on you gits! behind on your trades! dear me, speaking of trades I wanted to ask you and thing1 if the marines could be armed with bolt pistols and chainswords instead of bolter? if the answer is a resounding 'yes' then i'll get working on them tomorrow for you guys! :-)

Holy smoking crater Batman! those dev's look great, the writing on the parchments is a big win for them, it looks fantastic and gives the squad that bit of oomph in detail, speaking of fantastic, that motf is amazingly well done, the whole idea and execution is spot on! I think the Doc Oc look suits him, so when do we get a chance to se everything in this army together again? or do you perhaps need to purchase a wide angled lense? :-)

Insane! in only the best way you can do it! love the pose and the conversion! looks excellent, I can imagine him just touching down and leaping forward into the fray!, a very nice model Gits, a whole squad of them will be amazing and very nice to see! and of course, i can't wait to see him painted up :-)

I love how he looks Gits, well done! the contrast is great and the backs of the wings look spot on, still mechanical without being ridiculous! I like the inside of the wings like that, a bright glaring distraction as he plummets from the sky his twin blades slicing and rending in furious combat! good work dude! keep going please! :-)

Gits i'm still lovin' the smooth blue colour you can get from the airbrush! i'm still having trouble with mine coming out speckly :-( i'm not upset with how it turned out but it'd be nice to be able to lay on a smooth colour gradient like you seem to have become quite the master of lately! well done, he's looking great (as if you didn't know) :-)

Hi Gits, looking nearly done there! I believe you've chosen the right path with your colours for this guy so far! I was thinking about what MajorTom was saying about a stencil and I think he may be onto something! my friend who I got my brush off does a lot of stuff with fine stencils to achieve carbon fibre look, honeycomb,etc... maybe you could experiment with some small stencil work for the detail, holding it at different distances away to get the desired effect? only thing is picking the material to use? hmmmm my mind is ticking away for you....

Hi Gits! i'm bloody glad I checked in today! what a wonderful model you've created! he looks excellent and those wings....just amazingly good! I bet those nights where sleep wouldn't come as you were thinking about painting and modelling are gone now? but they were worth it? you are an inspiration to every painter modeller and gamer out there, not to mention the 'Yoda' to countless newbs starting out and looking for great stuff!

If I may interject for Alfndrate? I personally am very fond of chapterhouse studio's quality and workmanship, I have quite a few of their product which i'm using in my own blog and they are great! good fitting with minimal work to sit correctly and the sharpness of the sculpts is excellent, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, i'm actually looking forward to using the new product they have just released! it looks amazing!...

and gits, you da man! great work as always on the scouts i can't wait to see them with a coat of paint, they're gonna look very striking and be fun to play with just for the individuality alone! :-)

After a hard fought battle against the trials and tribulations of decisions with the vanguard! you have finally got to the peak of awesomeness! such a good looking model Gits, the wings/jump pack really look fantastic and i love how you've done them it suits the model and is nicely outside the square! the conversion is neat and clean (unlike some of mine!) and the pose is predatory...well,....he IS a Mantis!

all in all, i'm very impressed with him! can't wait to see the Libby though that shield is shaping up to be more awesomeness!

I freakin' love the shots of the tranquility snipers Gits! they look awesome all together like that! your yellow shade is very, very nicely done! but the start of your landspeeder storms is epic, they look like they're going to turn out amazingly good! the interior detail is spot on, spartan enough to be marine! detailed enough to be done by you! keep it up big guy!

Ah Gits sounds like you've been busy as usual, inspiring people and trying to take up all the internet space with your blog? you're going well!... :-)

that chappie by littleloudthing is excellent! you can really see Pyriel's influence and style, if i hadn't known better i'd have sworn it was from the man himself!

I loved the little things Pyriel does to push the boundaries of painting (and thread decency!) like his crushed velvet robe and beaten zinc power sword! simple ideas that work so well! he really should be an artist that everyone should check out especially if you've never heard of him! he will inspire nearly as much as Gits stuff does!

I really need to get off my ass myself and send you those marines i have for you and maybe give you a model for your collection so you can see how badly i really paint :-)

Or if you've got a blender, you can pop the sheet cork in and give it a pulse or three! :-) then you get the bigger parts and the fine stuff to fill in gaps nicely! once undercoated and dry brushed it'll be rubble in no time!
