Hey all,
I am here to share my experience of a super hero I have, hope you can do the same too.
Dire Avenger Exarch, 2 Catapults
-Slayed a trygon(although it was down to one wound only)
-Survived shots from a whole army of tau (lost all his friends and gone to ground)
-Tied a combat by him self against 2 Daemon princes
Your turn

Not really my "own" hero but what I have done with this bad boy in one game:
Mephiston
-destroys a group of 3 zoanthropes
-wipes out a full squad of termagants (forcing them to take additional armor saves after losing combat, which they fail)
-kills a Tervigon in one turn right after the termagants
-kills a squad of 8 genestealers
-dies heroically to his own plasma gun! lol (also takes a wound earlier with perils)

I would have to say my Eldar Ranger Pathfinder (the old model guy with the topknot and firing a laspistol instead of his rifle in the off hand, with his hood down). Crazy battle went down to the last turn. My guy's whole squad was wiped by a hive Tyrant I had been picking away at all game, and dude's now stuck in CC and I'm just assuming he's going to get slaughtered in the fight on this last turn of the game. Instead, due to the amazing dice gods, he doesn't get wounded, and takes his one desparate swing with the butt of his sniper rifle (at S3) versus this giant monster thing and takes its last wound.
We were both awestruck. This is league night so there's like 12 guys in there and we were the last game to finish so everyone is watching to see the last turn as it was very up in the air (I killed LOADS of bugs, but he had killed some very expensive stuff like wraithlord, avatar, etc and this was before KP)... This was also the store owner who's nids rarely lose so I gave the dude a kill stripe in his hair. A kill for the player, not the Hive Tyrant. Store owner laughed when he saw him the next week. "your never gonna let me live that down are you?"
"nope"
It turned what would have been a tie into a win in our FLGS league. I gave the guy a fresh new paintjob addition the next day and added some bloody ichor to the butt of his rifle, splatted around on his cloak. A S3 T3 scout that kills a Hive Tyrant deserves fresh paint.

Renegade Inquisitor with a Bound Daemon
Tied and gagged in the back of your car
|
In my first game, my Grey Knight Grand Master took on about 20 daemons at once for 2 turns before going down. Didn't help that my opponent ignored a bunch of rules, and introduced a few of his own. But I was still amazed at how well the GM did. Cut a massive swath through the entire army multiple times (since he used the now defunct 'without number' rule for pretty much his entire army).
Last week, I ended up running the Quartermaster in my sig as a Death Cultist, and he worked down half a devestator squad, helped take out a master of the forge, and joined in with my Callidus to take out a 10 man tac squad.

One of my PCS Medics against Necrons Made every FNP role he was called upon to make thus winning the combat and breaking the warriors they were fighting.
My Wolflord with TH+SS, and saga of the bear Refused to Die vs BA;
-Melta pistol to the Face, blocked by storm Sheild
-6 or 7 attacks by Gabriel Seth, all ignored(seth then took a TH to the face)
-Storm Raven unloads on him, losses a wound
-Red Thirst Squad Charges him, first turn he kills a few and takes no wounds, second turn he fails all hits and takes a wound, breaks, re-charges them kills the remainder
Same Wolflord vs Ork Warboss and Nobz;
-Spends 3 full turns of combat Killing several of the Nobz until the Boss can finally press in for the next 4 rounds
-Blows traded back and forth for 4 rounds both are reduced to 1 wound, game ends with a loss to the Orks but the Lord and Boss still alive swinging fruitlessly at eachother

A list of what Captain Sicarius has killed for me in a game against nids with his "coup de grace" attack:
1x tyrannofex
1x Swarmlord (though he did lose his whole command squad in that round)
1x Trygon Prime
1x Tyranid Prime
And Old One Eye
Not bad for a guy who's supposed to be a Leader not a Fighter.

One Khorne beserker champion in Planetstrike.
First assaults a banewolf and destroys it but loses his whole squad to madly heavy fire from all other tanks.
Him alone melta-bombs a Russ and kills it, no wounds from enemy shooting.
Charges commisar yarrick and deals 2 wounds. Takes no wounds (1s to hit by yarrick!). Finishes yarrick off.
Charges a gorgon and melta-bombs it. Chain reaction, all three structure points lost.
Alone he claims the planetstrike objective that won me the game.
AWESOME!!!
(this guy totally came back as a daemon prince in the next few games of the campaign).

The Tyrant had been whittled down, almost to death. The Valiant Sergeant help the beast at bay; but then, the Sergeant broke from combat and ran.
He was too fast for the Flyrant, fleeing through the nearby terrain, where he turned once more to face his mighty foe.
The Flyrant gave chase, leaping into the air and crashing down through the roof of the Manufactorum.
The Flyrant reared up to crush his foe, only to find himself skewered on a splintered girder the Sergeant left in his wake.
The Sergeant's cunning ploy had won the Imperial Guard the day against the Tyranid menace.
Now for what actually happened:
My veteran sergeant in one of my Guard squads lasted for three turns against a Tyrant, he then fled, but he escaped (in the Tyranid turn). My turn came around and the Sergeant rallied. I couldn't shoot the tyrant (the sergeant was the only guy I had left). The tyrant moved into the building the Sergeant was in. The guy went to roll his attacks, but then I pointed out that he needed to take a dangerous terrain test for the charge. He took the test and failed, he failed the armour save too.
This won me the game.
In memorium to the brave soldier, I promoted him to company commander, and modelled a sharpened girder onto his base and a power sword made from a tyrant's talon.
Long live the brave Commander Sergei Fenn!

I used to use Jain Zar with cover of a small harlequin squad with Veil so I could approach without getting shot to bits. One game versus space wolves she went after 15 blood claws... 3 hits with the triskell on the approach, plus some nitpicky fusion pistol from the shadowseer... on the charge she rolls so many dice its ridiculous... then with the harlie charge (only 5 harlies, and one was a death jester), completely wiped the whole blood claw squad of 11 remaining MEQs before they could even hit back. That pretty much wiped that entire side of the table and left jainey and her clown buddies back out in veil range from anything that could hit back. Jain kind of rocks when you get the good dice and keep her safe on the approach. Still she's kinda pointsy so I don't attempt it often. When it works it super-duper works, when it fails she just gets shot up as a giant points sink.

I blame the dice for my lose!I always blame them for it! -Having DIRE AVENGERS firmly gone to ground on an objective but ran away to gaunts shooting -Yriel cant kill the last few fire warriors on an objective and screwed himself up,WTF! Here's the win part: -Wave serpent wins me a game in turn one by tank shocking 3 squads of FW and make them run away -Farseer chopped down 2 predators and 2 rhinos and saved 4 MELTA GUN SHOTS! -RoWarding 3 Zoanthropes to death, and thats why I cant live without it anymore -Ramming 3 raiders in a row with a WS and exploding 2 destroyed one

My Master of Sanctity.
His squad was destroyed, leaving him alone with (I believe) two wounds.
He was charged by 7 or 8 howling banshees, survived their attacks (suffering no wounds), killed two of the eldar with his crozius.
The banshees, terrified of the Emperor's justice, broke and fled, rolling an 11 for their morale check. The Chaplain in his rage ran them down and swept them off the table, rolling a 6 for his Init comparison.
My friend was speechless.

While Eldrad, his 5 warlocks, a falcon, 2 guardian squads, and an avenger squad (with wave serpent) held my objective against Vulkan and his assault squad which just podded in (a lot of shooting against that squad, it died), Fuegan, all on his own in his Falcon, raced to my opponents objective.
His objective was held by:
1. A master of the forge with conversion beamer and 3 servitors (they have power fists remember)
2. 5 scouts. 4 with snipers 1 with a missile.
3. 3 dreadnoughts with meltas in their ccw.
All of this is in a ruin, with the scouts and objective on the top level, MotF on the second, and dreads on the ground.
Fuegan gets shot down just as he reaches the edge of my opponent's ruin. He is then assaulted by one of the dreads, but neither cause any lasting damage (no wounds on Fuegan, no damage to the dread). However in my turn the dread is cut to pieces (wrecked). After weathering fire from the other meltas (suffering 1 wound), Fuegan is assaulted again by a dread, but this time rips it apart before it gets a chance to swing. The mighty Phoenix Lord consolidated towards the ruin. Back in my turn again he moves, fleets, and assaults the MotF, splitting attacks just right to kill all 4 models in the one phase, now consolidating farther into the ruin. After surviving a lone melta shot (down to 1 wound. Thank you eternal warrior), Fuegan Moves to the top level of the ruin. To mock the scouts he puts a fire-pike round through one of their number, following up with an assault. The scouts didn't survive.
All on his own Fuegan took my opponent's objective.
In another game he managed to kill a land raider and 2 squads of gray hunters. In that game I also had Eldrad and his 5 warlocks (now down to 1 embolden and 1 destructor) in assault with a bunch of termies with Logan. The 2 warlocks take 21 wounds. 11 on the destructor, 10 on the embolden. The embolden warlock dies. Then the destructor warlock passes all but 1 save on the first roll, and passes the remainder on fortune. He then goes on to survive (along with Eldrad) whittling down the termies until it's just Logan, and even then he outsurvives Eldrad who is knocked down by Grimnar's power fist. That destructor warlock took 4 wounds a phase, and passed every one every time.

Venerable Brother Zachariah Helscarl bravely cracked open a wave serpent to get at the fire dragons inside--and proceeded to survive 5 fusion blasts before exacting his vengeance with Assault Cannon, Heavy Flamer, and gore-encrusted Combat Claw. He went on to nonchalantly shred the Avatar of Khaine's face with bullets before finally being temporarily deactivated by a barrage of wraithcannon fire. He spent the final turn immobilized next to my opponent's last remaining objective. Epic.

Guardsman with Flashlight
|
I would have to say Sgt. Truicido, he is the Veteran Sgt of one friend's Ultramarine Squads. After being whittled down by lasfire his squad was decimated. He ran and assaulted the 30 man blob, Killed three Guardsmen, passed like 7 armor saves, chased them down and killed every last man. Soon after he charged a Leman Russ, blew that up. Then on the 5th turbn managed to blow up a Basilisk. In the 6th turn he was blasted by a way ward missile from another Ultramarine squad. Sgt. Truicido now has a cybernetic arm and was honored with a power weapon.
I think he has like 70 guardsmen kill ration, along with other unbelievable feats, we always say if he is to die, our bud should buy a Dread in his honor.

Boosting Space Marine Biker

For cool character names look up Everchanging Book of Names. Very sweet app.
I had a pathetic SM Captian who charged a squad of FWs, killed none, took a wound and fell back. He regrouped (they didnt bother to shoot him) charged again and tied combat for the rest of the game. I feel like demoting him.
My buddy's broodlord all by himself, in one game, in two turns and in this order:
1. Killed my five assualt marines (power weapon and storm shield sgt)
2. Killed a 10 man tac squad
3. Killed my dreadnought after being charged by him
This broodlord was marked for assassination, which I carried out with extreme prejudice in a later game.
