So about a day ago i got a whole bunch of marine and tau stuff from a friend altho there was a suprise in all of this.
One of the bit boxes actualy contained a damaged assault terminator (with thunder hammer and shield) altho it was missing a cable from the hammer no biggy as i replaced that with guitar string now the more differcult part is his right leg was broken off and was nowhere to be found.

I'm determined to fix the mini so that it can be painted up and used again so i'm wondering if anyone here has a preferably cost effecient idea on how to fix it.
I thought about putting a small pin of steel wire in place and try greenstuffing a proper leg on there altho i'm not quite sure if my GS skills are good enough for that.

So yea any ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Keep an eye on ebay for bits and pieces as you may find a leg or two up for sale.

Positive things about the GS option.
Firstly GS skills only ever improve by actually using the stuff.
Secondly you will be able to have something other than the ubiquituous rock guitarist stance.

Yes i might go with the GS option i just always want to be sure i considered everything else before i attempt to do something that could end up beeing very bad and mess up the mini.

Well, if you greenstuff the leg, it will help your GS skills get better. Just a thought.

If it goes wrong (and it won't) there is always plan B and you will still have gained some experience

Now that you mentioned pirates i figured out that what we in dutch refer to as a wooden leg is just called a peg leg in english didn't know that.

You learn something new everyday.

I think an assault-cannon peg leg would work well. You always need more Dakka, so I can see a Terminator using a cannon as a stand-in leg.

This reminds me. I really need to get around to watching Samurai Jack. If only it had a conclusion.

If he stands out, that's a good thing! He'll be standing out because you've done a really nice job of converting up a Bionic Leg. I was just about to suggest the same, reading through the Topic, until I realised that you'd already fixed it.
